Veva Sol's super-caliente, scifi, alien abduction novella.

Tortured.

Determined.
Mildly psychotic.

He says he’ll never have a fated mate… but I’m pretty sure I’m it.

Abducted by evil, bird-like aliens and turned into a pet, I’m used to being underestimated. Even after five long years, I’ve never given up hope of survival. But when I spy an alien-dragon trapped in the arena alongside me, I’m convinced my days are numbered. Until he shifts into a tattooed hottie who helps me escape.

Veras. He’s surly, emotional, and surrounded by a golden mist that makes him irresistible.

He should be my savior, but there’s one small problem. My over-emoting alien has a death wish. After the destruction of his species, he’s determined to blow up the whole planet. Vengeance is the only thing on his mind.

All that’s on my mind is him.

And survival. I hate being enslaved, but it beats being dead.

So I’ll do what I do best… plan my way out of this mess. All I have to do is find a way into his bed while saving the planet. No problema. They’ve ignored the little human for far too long.

Nothing less than world domination will do.

As spicy alien romances go, this one surprised me with an intriguing world, interred characters, and a lovely romance that really resonated. I enjoyed every moment of it, and absolutely loved the high stakes ending.

Confusing story that didn’t really make any sense. I think I might’ve been better off had I read the first book in the series.
