So many twist and turns keeps you reading to find out what is happening. Tassia grew so much throughout the book and took control of things. Lucas, Mitch and Tyler are all sexy and good peoples. Loved it all the way through.

I loved this book so much!!! It’s definitely one I’ll be reading again. I loved the mystery and drama aspect, the m*rder mystery aspect, it was all just so good! Tassia’s character really surprised me and her talent is just so cool. I’m so incredibly happy that they named their son after Timothy because his death WRECKED ME! I’ve read multiple of the authors stories and this is by far the best one she’s written! I loved it so much, and I’m actually kind of sad I finished it as quickly as I did! I’d definitely recommend this story to be added to your TBR list! 10/10 🌟

Just missed the mark

Ok I just need to get this off of my chest before starting this review. UM?! That 1st chapter threw me so off for the rest of the book. I’m not sure if that was a whoops on the author & publisher who didn’t notice that the FMC went from Eva to Tassia. The villain in the story started out as a mafia don then we went to a charismatic slum ball villian who is Tassia’s ex husband. Sorry I know it was only 1 chapter but I kept going back to it thinking somehow it would all tie in. Now with that said I’ve read many books by this author and I have loved them. Just this misplaced chapter or whatever you wanna call it messed up my immersion into the story.

Alrighty stepping off my soapbox now. Aside from chapter 1, the book was good. Felt like I was missing some usual details that the author had in her other books they’ve written. The plot was similar to many of these cop/police officer why choose. The bedroom scenes are a little short and not all that descriptive. A lot is glossed over.

It wasn’t a bad read per se, if you haven’t read anything by this author please don’t start with this book.

Tassia has a fresh start, a new job, in a new town. She has been there since the 'New Beginnings' programme set her up with a job cataloguing all the evidence collected by the local police department. She's been living in a cabin next door to Sheriff Lucas and his two deputies, Lucas and Mitch, who are all incredibly hot, fuelling some wicked fantasies for her. All three come to her aid when an incident occurs, offering their home as a temporary measure until things are sorted.

Things soon become heated between Tassia and Lucas, but all three men are attracted to her, likewise, for her. They start working more closely when they find out that Tassia has a gift for seeing patterns, connections, and she helps them see something that they hadn't. They offer her a job as a Consultant in the drug cases that have flooded their town. They need to shut down the influx of drugs; they need to find the Kingpin, the one who is supplying it. But when the Federal agency comes to town, Tassia is in the crosshairs because of her past.

Tassia, Lucas, Tyler, and Mitch's relationship becomes heated, and these men trust Tassia, but does she trust them enough to open up about her past, her concerns about who is involved in the drug supply, and something else she is withholding from them? Can her past threaten the future she wants with the men that she loves? Will it all be taken from her?

The men need to prove to Tassia that they will not betray her, that they will stand by her no matter what, that she is the most important thing to them. They will protect her from her past and give her the future that she deserves.

Tyler, Lucas, Mitch & Tassia

Now I’m not gonna lie this book was well written and with a massive story line, it’s good, don’t get me wrong but my lord it hurt my head. 😂 I read for down time for relaxation, for the smût (this book didn’t contain much of it in my opinion) but if you’re looking for a huge storyline that requires brain function to follow this book is for you.

There’s Tassia - who spent a year in jail for something she didn’t do, she was just with the wrong person.
Then you’ve got Lucas - Sheriff of a small town police department and ex military, with his two best friend’s and deputies who working alongside him now and in also in the force, and they share more than their friendship.

Tassia finds herself in a program that helps ex cons find work, and she finds herself working in the same police department with the three guys, logging all the evidence in the evidence room. They soon find out that Tassia has a secret skill set, photographic memory if you like and a super high IQ.

They all work together to bring down a d r u g circle that are trying to smuggle the packages through their small town and bring a lot of d e a t h to the once quaint small town.

Be prepared for drama, fallout, surprise pregnancy, and a few spicy scenes, and NO third act breakup.

Intriguing story that immediately had my focus

This was a perfect Winter Storm Read.

The storyline was interesting, with a humorous start but lots of intrigue and a bit of a "Whodunit" vibe on top of all the romance.

The main characters were all relatable, including the plus size FMC. As a BBW, I appreciate that she didn't obsess over her weight. You only really learn she's plus size from interactions with other characters, which is how my life is. So I appreciate that she wasn't acting like "omg I'm f*t no one will ever love me. My jeans don't fit, omg I need to eat a salad" etc. Like I said, you learn the perspective of her weight primarily through the eyes of other characters. To her, it's simply her body, it doesn't control every thought which was refreshing. We love a confident and powerful BBW!

The clues to the mystery are all there, so it was fun to sort of play along and figure it out with the FMC. Yes, I figured out the plot but it didn't seem predictable, more intriguing.

The 🌶 times were a nice respite from the intensity of the mvrder plot.

This story grips you from the start. I literally stayed up all night to read it.

I don't usually read reverse romance stories because they are strong on rather boring sex, and weak on character development and story. I should have known better. This one had a decent police story which is more interesting than their plain 3-ways. They let Tessia interrogate people! No way that would be admissable in court. Chapter 1 is very strange because it bears no relationship to this story at all. Then Chapter 2 is an abrupt change in location. I was confused about that because there was no information to link them together. I had to double check that this wasn't a collection of short stories.

But then I went from 3 stars to 1 star because I am also SO OVER with the surprise pregnancy plots. "Oh my, how could this have happened?" Hate it when authors treat readers as if we don't have two brain cells. Those 3 men would know to use condoms. So dumb. I lost interest in the story so I just skimmed the rest it. The only thing I cared about was seeing Sherry get justice. DNF at 60%

An Exceptionally Good Read

The title is a little misleading, the drool worthy men in this story are all ex military, Rangers. As the story unfolds the 3 men are the Sheriff & 2 of his deputies. Frost Valley is classic “Small Town America”.

Their next door neighbour is Tassia Callaghan, a reformed felon. She’s currently working at the Sheriff’s Office as a clerk in the Evidence Room. It’s all sanctioned as part of a government reform program for non violent offenders.

For Tassia it’s a painful reminder of what can happen when you fall for the wrong man, duped by her ex husband and implicated in crimes she had no involvement in she ended up spending a year in prison. Now she works for law enforcement and her own personal torment the sheriff and his closest deputies live right next door to her, it’s thirsty work but someone needs to appreciate the hotness. After that all it takes is recharging her B.O.B in a plug with faulty wiring, a sudden fire and her dreamscape hero runs in to the rescue.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Tassia Callaghan, Lucas Riggs, Mitch O'Malley, & Tyler Jones. When this books opens we find that Tassia is attracted to her neighbors but is unwilling to do anything about it. The thing is when she goes to take a shower, little does she realize that her little cottage is about to go up in flames. When her neighbors rescue her she doesn't know what will happen next. Lucas is the town sheriff and knows Tassia because she works in the evidence locker. He knows there is something more he wants to know about her, all of the guys do. Can they convince Tassia they see her past her past or will there always be something or someone standing in their way?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was another gripping read by this author. Tassia, living in Frost Valley for a fresh start, ends up homeless and gets taken in by her hot neighbours, Sheriff Lucas and his two deputies, Lucas and Mitch. She worked in the station but they found she had a skill at seeing patterns in evidence and end up hiring her to help with some murder cases. Of course, she has secrets and one is her ex. You know he's going to cause problems so be prepared to hit the edge of your seat in this wild read ;) This was a page turner with many crooked characters, danger, mystery, intrigue, action, humour and very hot romance. I loved seeing how things unfolded for Tassia and her men and can't wait for what's next by this author :D

When a fire starts in her cabin, next door neighbor and her boss, Sheriff Lucas Riggs saves her and invites her to come live with him and his two BFF's, Deputies Mitch and Tyler. As the group begins to investigate a couple of murders in town, things heat up between the three of them. This is an action packed book, with loads of intrigue and hidden threats and a side of romance that gets steamy in a couple of spots.

Tassia has come to this small town to leave her past behind. She has been admiring her 3 male neighboursso when her cabin burns down she is surprised but pleased when they insist she stays with them. Lucas, Mitch and Tyler were in the Forces together and now work together as Sheriff and Deputy Sheriffs. Things have been getting tense since drugs have been getting worse in town and when Tassia’s past comes back to town things become even more interesting. Both the love story and the action make this a good story.

This book was well-written and I loved the way it was laid out. It’s easy to follow and reads fast. Not a lot of time was spent on feelings they may have had for one another. They were too busy solving crimes. The FMC is super smart, gifted and just trying to move on. The MMCs know her back story and feel protective of her. I almost felt sorry for the criminal element in this story at one point. They had a very HEA and I loved it. There was a cute little surprise at the very end. There was plenty of action and suspense. The spice was good, and not too much of it. I would definitely recommend this book.

This is from the Over The Top Possessive Alpha Harem series. You can't go wrong with a book by Kai Lesy. I have read many of them and I read until I had to put them down. The three guys are all former military and Army Rangers.

Tassia is an ex-con that works for Sheriff Lucas, Deputy Mitch and Deputy Tyler. Her cabin catches fire and sheriff Lucas saves her from the burning cabin, and brings her to his place that he shares with Mitch and Tyler. What happens between the three of them? What happens with her ex?

Tassia, Lucas, Tyler, and Mitch's story. Tassia is getting a fresh start in a new town. She is neighbors with the Sheriff and 2 of his deputies who also are his best friends. They are investigating 2 murders and Tassia proves to be a great asset for them in solving them. Little did they know that this case was way bigger than they though AND would bring Tassia's past back into the present. Great story with a happy ending.

One explosive situation leads to a lot more

Claimed by the Deputies is part of the Lucky Lady Reverse Harems series. This book has you laughing out loud and then blushing all over. The whole premise of how it starts is so funny I was almost crying from laughing so hard. This is definitely not what you would want a "toy" to do. But what happens next is more explosive, both big and small, than you might be able to handle. But then there is also mystery, danger, suspense, and secrets all woven in which just add to the story-line.

Her rental catches fire. The sheriff and his two deputies he lives with insist that she stays with them. The chemistry between them takes off. Her ex husband is spotted in town. Now they need to clean up their town. Can they clean their town? Will they be able to go the distance in their relationship? Come on in and find out.

This is not a bad book, but it is not very good either. I struggled at the start of the book because I expected her to be caught in bed dreaming of her next-door neighbor, but she was not. I didn't understand how she could live next door for a year and work in the same building without having met. Then the crime they are looking into seems to throw in everything and the kitchen sink, with no fear of how it all plays out in court. Then you have this main character who has a crazy attention to detail but not in how sex or birth control works.

Oh but WOW! What a a read. I was pins and needles most of the time waiting to see what was going to happen next. Tassia came to Frost Valley to start a new life, but her cabin caught fire leaving her homeless. Sheriff Lucas, Deputy Tyler, and Deputy Mitch lived next door to her took her in. There was a wild chemistry between them that would not be denied. She worked at the station in evidence, as the file clerk. Lucas soon learned that she had a special gift in putting cases together, and he gave her a part-time consulting position to help solve a couple of murders. Then her ex-husband showed up in town, and things really got interesting. No one could be trusted. It seemed like everyone was on the take. Hits were out on the Lucas, Tyler, and Mitch with a reward for the safe capture of Tassia. The suspense was mind boggling with plenty of mystery and intrigue.

Steamy, romantic, and suspenseful.

When Tassia's cabin catches fire, Sheriff Lucas and two deputies, Mitch and Tyler help her and protect her when trouble comes.

Trouble is coming. Her past can ruin everything but these guys who are the law will protect her with their lives.

Lucas, Mitch and Tyler are all alpha, over protective and also vulnerable. They want her but more want her safe.

Load of danger, drama and trouble but I loved the dynamic between the three guys and how they were with Tassia.

So well done. Kai Lesy gives us a lovely story that challenges unorthodox relationships but makes them original and realistic. So good!!.

This book has it all! There is the expected RH steam...with all of the characters meshing so well it adds extra heat. It has bad guys..some really bad. It has suspense.... Kai Lesy is getting really good at suspense! There is corruption. There are ride or die friendships. There is even sadness. I always hesitate over what to write because I don't want to accidentally give spoilers, so what I am going to tell you is that...the characters (good and bad) are awesome and so well written. The world building is clean and meshes together perfectly. The story is engrossing and engaging. I loved it! 5 happy stars!

I love this book. Tassia is beyond brilliant, photogenic memory and beginning a new life. An accidental fire in her cabin brings three sexy law enforcement Lucas, Tyler, and Mitch to her rescue and happen to be her neighbors. Danger, drug crimes MC and a deranged ex-husband brings trouble to their hometown, The Sheriff and his deputies with Tassia's help plan to clean up the town. Great read.
