Not a true three yard quilt book

Most of the patterns require more than three yards of fabric when you include borders and binding. Some quilts use fat quarters and others more than three fabric patterns. That said, its usually only an extra half yard of background fabric like cream or a print, which most of us will already have in our stash.

The patterns are simple yet interesting and I will definitely be using this as a go to book for quick stash busting projects.

This is one in a series of books that revolve around the concept of three yards of fabric = one quilt top. Lots of cute ideas with fairly clear instructions. I wish there had been more photos of the full quilts. The publisher would stick a baby on top or fold the quilt or mush it up in a chair. I didn’t understand why they just didn’t show the full quilt which helps a lot when trying to figure out if you want to make it or not.
