1.5 stars - I read this as a part of the Billionaire Romance Box Set
This was very predictable and the writing wasn't very smooth. It could be due to our main girl being French and ESL - I'm not sure. She was definitely very wordy and impractical at times. The angst that was trying to be conveyed a lot of the time came across as desperation and the object of our girl's desire (David) was painted as emotionally shut off - which I think was meant to come across as a more '50 shades' kind of character. There weren't many 'intimate' moments within this instalment.
