Integrals are among the most useful and fascinating mathematical concepts ever conceived. This book is a practical introduction for all those who don't want to miss out. In it you'll find down-to-earth explanations, detailed examples and interesting applications. Check out the sample for the table of contents and a taste of the action. From the author of "Mathematical Shenanigans" and the popular series "Great Formulas Explained". The second installment "Math Shorts: Integrals II" is now available for Kindle and contains advanced topics such as partial fractions, trigonometric and hyperbolic integrands, the Cauchy-Schwarz inequality and much more.
A supplement to this book is available under the title "Exercises to Math Shorts - Integrals". It contains 30 exercises including detailed solutions.
Important note: to enjoy the book, you need solid prior knowledge in algebra and calculus. This means in particular being able to solve all kinds of equations, finding and interpreting derivatives as well as understanding the notation associated with these topics.
Yeah. Aheheaheaneahen! Da' guy dat wrote this e-book said to write a review of his book if we thought it was good. So, I am here doing just that. Who am I to argue with the author of a math book. Hey, those guys are nerds so they have to be tough to fight off all the jocks of their school.
All those tough guys like boxers, MMA folks and so on likely were math nerds. Yet there jerks out there pushing them around, so they trained as fighters and the rest is history. I am talking Mmuhamed Ali, Chuck Norris, and so forth.
Anyway, little-known facts and my digressions aside...
