Heir For The Bratva Boss, Book 1 of Andreev Bloodlines by DC Ben’s USA good story, this story is about Damian and Lara. They met five years ago, now he bought the Hotel she works at.

DNF - too many inconsistencies ☹️
I liked this story and the characters, but I reached my limit of frustration with the inconsistencies of both timeline and story. My detail-oriented brain just couldn’t handle any more. There were timeline inconsistencies when the FMC’s son was in the hospital. And storyline in multiple places…and I was barely at 50%. There were two scenes at the hospital that were almost identical. I even thought I had accidentally skipped back a few pages. Some details changed, but it was almost as if the author had written the scene two different ways and forgot to take out the one she didn’t want. The engagement with Tasha wasn’t public, but then Lara says she read about the engagement and saw the pictures in the paper. The Ruslans are blatantly attacking Andreev businesses, but then later Damian claims they don’t really know that it’s the Ruslans. And that one was the tipping point for me. Others may be able to overlook these things, but I just couldn’t.

Brilliantly written.
This is the first book I have read from this author and boy, do they do the world of
Mafia genre proud! This is excellently written.
It’s great when the author takes the time to build up the relationship between the MMC and FMC, for the reader to feel the emotions that are evoked, to feel empathy as a result for the characters due to the insight we are provided with because the author cares to give that to their readers .. Damian and Lara’s relationship is deep and it’s beautiful to read how it develops, how they both fall.
There is a great storyline - no spoilers - just to say that it’s one of those books where you’ll struggle to put it down. It’s full of raw passion, beautiful dialogue, a strong MFC (great to see!), and a Mafia boss that will burn the world down for his family. Congratulations to the author!
Looking forward to the next installment but will say I’m surprised at the direction the author had taken with book 2 … not sure if I want the next brother to have her as his wife!!!!
Can’t wait to see how Stepan gets on and whether my own feelings will change towards the upcoming FMC - she’s certainly a wild one, and Stepan will surely be in for one hell of a ride trying to tame her!!!

Five years ago she had one passionate night with a man she found out was a Bratva boss. She left the next morning without leaving her name or number, knowing he was from a world she didn't want to belong to. When she found out weeks later that she was carrying his baby, she was determined to never let him find out. Moving away she thought she was safe, until she meets the new owner of the hotel she works out and finds out that it is her son's father. He quickly finds out about her son and works out his parentage, bring them to his home for protection. She doesn't want any part of it or his dangerous life but he doesn't leave her with options. There is quite a bit of mafia family drama for them to navigate, relationship building, family bonding, and chemistry they cannot deny. I was hoping to see a bit more of their growing emotional connection on page. It was a good balance of mafia and romance but ultimately I wanted a little more meat for them. It felt like we danced around it but it never dug in.

I could not put this book down. I loved the chemistry between the characters. She was the one that got away after one night together. Now five years later he walks in as her boss, and everything changes when he finds out the secret she has been keeping. One night and she left with a surprise pregnancy that is not a surprise anymore. He will do anything to keep his family safe even. This story is full of action, danger and romance. Happy ever after included.

Lots of potential
This book has the potential to be good but there’s too many errors. Is there nobody proofreading? I normally don’t leave reviews but this was bad!! Like the writer saying the characters are in one place then in the next sentence they’re in a completely different place because she changed it but forgot to change everything??? Also where are there? NY or Moscow? It was so very confusing but I powered through, I will not be continuing the series. Please get someone to proofread

Good Mafia Romance

Heir For The Bratva Boss is book 1 of the Andreev Bloodlines series and is Damien and Lara's intriguing, intense story. A one night stand takes a huge turn with these two when they reunite a few years later. Their journey is consuming, full of danger, action and drama. Definitely a must read!

Loved it!!
Loved reading Heir To The Bratva Boss. This book was so good I read it in one night. Lara and Damian’s story started off with a bang, fully action packed, the chemistry was super HOT and loved their story. I can’t wait for the next book in the Andreev Bloodlines series!!

A fast paced steamy mafia romance read. This is the first book in this series Andreev Bloodlines. The story flows well, easy to follow. The characters are likeable and fit well together. I am looking forward to reading the next installment.

I enjoyed this book. There were a few problems with out of order pages and scenes. Also some scenes were duplicated but with different outcomes. Better editing would have helped but the story and characters were very entertaining. I'm looking forward to reading #2 in this series.

The story/plot between Damian and Lara had real potential, but had the same problem as another book of this author's I read which was the inconsistencies with timelines and the story. Timelines as well as plots need consistency in order to keep the reading audience interested and engaged. The story itself had a bit of a twist which caught my interest, but also had me thinking didn't I just read that scenario to only address another version of that scenario later on. So I did what I don't like to make a habit of.....skimming parts of the book that seemed off. My suggestion to this author is to get a really sharp editor because your story telling has merit.
The story of a one night stand that produces a child with a stranger is nothing new in this genre, but the author was able to make Damian and Lara's characters interesting in their own right. It's got the usual push and pull in these relationships and Russian intrigue which added some depth and interest to the plot.
