Book 1 of 3

At forty, Ashe's life is quietly unraveling. Trapped in a loveless marriage, he drifts through days filled with loneliness and quiet desperation. But when an unexpected phone call delivers news of his father’s heart attack, Ashe's world is turned upside down.

Returning to the small town he thought he’d left behind for good, Ashe hopes only to tend to his ailing father. But nothing could have prepared him for what awaited in the sweltering heat of Port Chasten.

Becca, once the shy little sister of his first love, is now a stunning nurse caring for Ashe's father. Becca has wanted Ashe for years. Now that he's back, Becca won't let him slip through her fingers again.

Then there’s Lily, the charming and playful 20-year-old next door. Behind her quirky charm is a young woman aching for pleasures that only an older man like Ashe can give her.

Finally, there’s Jess, a sultry, sharp-eyed physical therapist with a past she won’t talk about and curves Ashe can’t ignore.

The temperature keeps rising, and the nights have never been hotter. Ashe returned to Port Chasten to deal with his past. Instead, three remarkable women will show Ashe who he truly is... and the man he was always meant to be.

Choices, choices, choices

A very nice storyline and the characters are great. It makes me wish that I grew up on the beach. There's nothing like a coming back to home story.

Such a quandary!!

I’ve been there; or at least a version of what our MMC faced upon the disillusion of his marriage, but I could only imagine having the life changing experiences he had in this fascinating novel! It drew me back in each time I returned to the story! It was psychologically much deeper than the title gives it credit for, but I loved every word! Great escapism!

Didn’t think they made books this good in this genre.

This was an extremely pleasant surprise. Didn’t think they made books this good in this genre. Great story and very well written. The characters and emotions feel so real. The interactions are sweet, romantic and wonderful. Can’t wait to read the next.

I really liked this inaugural book for this author's new series. It was very well-written and had a good cast of characters. The MMC is a wealthy, 40-year old living in an exclusive suburb near Portland, Oregon. While his business success continued, his 19-year marriage was failing. When he was informed that his lone surviving parent, his 70-year old father, had a mild heart attack and suffered a significant knee injury, the MMC set out for his small hometown in northwestern Washington state to come to his aid. In doing so, he also decided to leave his loveless, childless marriage behind.

Once back in the hometown of his youth, he not only helps his dad, but also encounters a trio of very attractive, but very different, women who become enamored with him and vice versa. Then the MMC is confronted with both choices and challenges. There is a unique cliffhanger at the end of this book that makes me eager to read the next installment of this series. This is a quick read that will be worth your time to check out.

Making up for lost time!

Can't blame a guy when, for the last decade, his marriage has been a living hell. Even without intending for it to be, he's on a roller-coaster ride of making up for lost time.

A good slice of life Harem book with interesting characters and a chance at second chances. I would have given this book 4 stars but the last paragraph of this book made me reduce 1 star.
