This book portrays the reemerging relationship between seemingly star-crossed lovers, Antonio Blackwell, attorney and corporate security specialist, and Dr. Bella Rossi/Jones, the attending physician of the Kent family. Antonio was on a mission when he attempted to salvage Bella's mental insecurity and well-being against the psychological warfare of Gabriel Herrera, AKA El Gato, an unscrupulous, contemptible, murdering drug lord who wanted to win over her affection.

The narrative turns into a struggle of willpower and fortitude, as well as a battle of brawn and firepower, as Bella, with the assistance of Barbara, begins to fight back against her cunning predator.

The story will surprise you with the unexpected, intriguing backstories of the leading protagonists and antagonists. This romantic thriller, which is encapsulated with a thematic HEA (happily ever after) denouement, will certainly maintain and command the reader's attention and interest.

This romantic suspense had me from the first page. Bella gives up the man she loves thinking that she is protecting him. Antonio is a man with a big heart and determined to keep his Bella safe from the beast pulling the strings in the background. Will the strength of her family and Antonio be enough to keep her safe and led them along the path to happiness.

This book was fantastic! It was intense, emotion, fast paced and I loved every minute! The romantic deep connections were wonderful!! Loved it!
