Isabelle would do anything for her sister—and she proved it. She will never regret seeking justice, even when fleeing her inevitable fate means accepting an unbreakable contract with Grym Hollow’s Guardian and becoming betrothed to the beastly Demon King in a loveless marriage.
Because that’s all it will ever be. She’ll make sure of it.
Oziel has seen three kings before him fall and then rise against their enemies with their wives—but he won’t succumb to their end mistakes. Pride is a demon’s specialty, though he knows when to pick his battles, and all his little human bride needs to do is break the terrible curse turning his subjects to stone.
But love is worse than any curse, with no place amongst depravity and sin, and the spitfire who waltzes right into his kingdom is making him feel something dangerous.
Not for long, though. The rules are set, guaranteeing their freedom once they’re safe. But with the magic dwindling—and a traitor in their midst—they’ll become the only other person they can trust…and the only one they can turn to once all hell breaks loose.
Book four in the Grym Hollow series. Each book follows one couple and ends in a happily-ever-after. The books can be read in any order, but reading in numerical order is best.
Tati B. Alvarez lives in Austin, Texas with her family. She spends most days lost in her own head, creating stories. When she is not writing, you can find her vacationing at Disney World.
The Demon’s Beauty is a lush, slow-burning fantasy romance that leans into old-world bargains, cursed kingdoms, and the kind of love that sneaks in where it was explicitly forbidden. It feels classic in the best way—an arranged marriage, a demon king bound by pride, and a human heroine who refuses to be small or scared.
Isabelle is wonderfully resolute. Her devotion to her sister and her willingness to sacrifice herself without regret give her backbone from the very first page. She enters Grym Hollow knowing the marriage is meant to be loveless—and she’s determined to keep it that way. Watching her navigate a demon court, unravel a curse, and steadily challenge Oziel without ever losing her fire is deeply satisfying.
Oziel is the epitome of a restrained, battle-worn ruler. He’s seen what love has done to kings before him, and he’s convinced it’s a weakness he won’t allow himself to indulge in. Of course, that makes his slow unraveling all the sweeter. His internal war—between pride, duty, and the dangerous pull toward his human bride—adds delicious tension to every shared scene.
With dwindling magic, betrayal lurking in the shadows, and a kingdom literally turning to stone, the stakes feel real and pressing. The romance grows not in spite of the danger, but because of it—built on trust, reluctant reliance, and the quiet realization that the one person you swore you wouldn’t love might be the only one who understands you.
If you love demon kings, cursed realms, arranged marriages, and a slow-burn romance that blossoms into something powerful and hard-won, The Demon’s Beauty is an enchanting, emotionally rich read that delivers both heart and heat. 🖤🔥
rcvd an ARC from the author for giving my review voluntarily.

Thank you to the author and Book Sirens for the ARC!
I’ve read all the other books in this series and have found them all to be pretty delightful. This one didn’t do it for me like the others did unfortunately. It felt a bit rushed and the chemistry just didn’t feel like it was there. I barely had a sense of Isabelle’s character and didn’t see much of an arc. Nor did I get a lot from Oziel either.
The book’s strength is definitely its connections to the other books and the ongoing storyline of the Guardian searching for his lost love was sweet and had some surprises too! I would recommend this whole series especially if you love a good portal fantasy romance and some monsters! This was probably the weakest so far but still very enjoyable.
I highly recommend the entire series! This book is a beautiful, adult take on Beauty and the Beast. You will be totally absorbed in the world of Isabelle and Oziel. Run, don't walk, to get a copy.
Alvarez knows how to write. This book is the perfect mix of plot and spice. The books in this series are also my most anticipated releases of any year because Alvarez's writing is so engrossing and always leaves you with such tantalizing epilogues that you want the next book immediately.
In addition to her engrossing writing style, Alvarez also has a clear concept of the world that she is building. This is the fourth book in a series, and this one fits well within the existing world-building. New pieces of how to win the war emerge in this book, but the new skills that Isabelle brings to the table balance with the other Queens who've come from Grym Hollow.
The most interesting thing for me about this book was the complexity of Isabelle and Oziel as characters. They are both morally grey individuals, and they seem to be the perfect complement to each other. The way that Alvarez constructed these flaws and used them to retell a popular fair tale was so interesting, and nods to the original story were subtly present throughout the book.
One area that was a little less fleshed out was the villain's motivation. The villain states their reasons, but their backstory is a bit lacking. To a certain extent, this hindered my comprehension of why they did what they did, given the dire consequences that were likely to result.
Additionally, I did find that this book doesn't necessarily stand alone as well as the others. Obviously, the books are interconnected because that is central to the war narrative that weaves throughout. However, Isabel seems not to have learned as much about the other kingdoms as the previous Queens did during the course of the story. Given that she wants to travel and see other realms, it seems a bit odd that she only gained a small amount of information about the other realms.
Regardless of any minor questions that I was left with after completing the book. I loved it. The writing sucks you in, and you become emotionally invested in the characters. The nuance of making fairytale characters feel like real humans is subtle and engaging. I found the darker themes explored in this book interesting and fresh.

Once again, Tati delivers a spellbinding slow-burn fantasy romance set in Mescos, a world steeped in magic, monsters, and demons, where danger seeps from every shadow. This time, our heroine is Isabelle: fierce, self-sacrificing, and driven by grief and vengeance. She’s willing to do anything to avenge her sister, even murder a truly terrible man. So, when faced with a choice between imprisonment and a loveless marriage to the Demon King, Isabelle does the unthinkable and accepts the Guardian’s bargain. Oziel is everything you want in a battle-hardened ruler: cold, controlled, and utterly convinced that love is a weakness he cannot afford. His kingdom is rotting from within, trapped beneath a merciless curse that threatens to turn everything he rules to stone. He’s seen what love has done to kings before him and he refuses to follow them into ruin. Which, of course, makes watching him unravel for his human bride all the more satisfying. His internal struggle between pride, obligation, and the dangerous pull toward his human bride adds a delicious tension to every scene they share. What starts as a forced alliance quickly becomes a high-stakes partnership as Isabelle and Oziel dig into the truth behind the curse. With magic failing, betrayal lurking in every corner, and the clock ticking on a dying kingdom, the danger feels immediate and relentless. Each discovery peels back darker secrets, sharper betrayals, and the chilling realization that the true enemy has been hiding in plain sight all along. Isabelle shines in the demon court—clever, defiant, and completely unafraid to challenge a Demon King. Her courage, sarcasm, and stubborn fire make every interaction with Oziel an absolute delight. The tension between them is slow, merciless, and magnetic, simmering with unspoken desire, trust issues, touch her/him and die energy: possessive, protective, and lethally devoted in the best possible way. The spice builds perfectly, enhancing the story without overwhelming it. This romance is forged in danger, not softened by it—built on reluctant trust, shared battles, and the realization that the one person you never planned to love might be the only one who truly sees you. Oziel and Isabelle are the perfect blend of wicked and sweet, stubborn and tender. Beautifully written, packed with sharp banter, devastating chemistry and crowned with a deeply deserved happily ever after, I couldn’t get enough. SOOOOO you know how there are books you want to immediately re-read -but like forget what you’ve read so it’s all a surprise again. That is me with this book. This IS my cup of tea. The banter. The back and forth. The “oh wait WAIT” moments and “I TOLD YOU SO!” To no one in particular but still. I was provided this ARC from FlyingPigPR and Tati and leave this honest review. Full of emotions. You’re welcome for this roller coaster.
I also have to shout out my husband for encouraging my “I just have to read a few more chapters” which turned into the rest of the book lol. I mean we got to 80 something percentage of the way through. Of course I had to finish.
We have:
•Morally grey •Shadow Daddy •touch her/him and die •hate 🌶️🌶️🌶️ •Heart racing moments •Beauty and the Beast Inspired. Don’t get it twisted-this isn’t a retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
Maybe I just didn’t want to see it. But the twists were truly twist for me. I kept thinking one thing. But nada, zilch, I hope this is confusing. But there was an initial thing (not saying at what point or where), but afterwards -nothing else.
~ISABELLE -Is stubborn. But also a BA. She is justice in the flesh and does NOT shy away. She takes the initiative and doesn’t hold back.
~OZIEL - is an Alpha male with an ego. Confident. Hot and a mouth that … NVM -Minds out of the gutter!!! Our beast without the fur. But a beast nonetheless.
You could read this as a standalone. But I would HIGHLY recommend reading the others before this one (the world and characters will make sense).
The guardian though-I MEAN, if you have read this-ARE WE THINKING THE SAME THING -with what was revealed -by mhm- and uh huh-and IM SAYING!!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.
For anyone wondering -did I take notes…Yes and for confusion some of them include (and not in this order):
RED FLAG!!!!! “Um no Sir, there will not….” (Not finishing that thought because I don’t want to spoil it.) “YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!” (This could hinestly be applied to quite a few locations lol). -The Sealed Kingdom -Song SS 15Jan (matched the vibe of the chapter I was reading). “Hmmm…I don’t want to be suspicious buttttttttttt….”
Anywho-I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.
You author, I know you know I love you. And for this … I’m so deeply grateful !!! Thank you for allowing me to read this !!!
“You are more mine now than ever”
“Sometimes the most beautiful things in life can hurt you. Unless you know how to tend them”
What a dream. What a beautiful dreamlike experience this book was. I was craving in. I was hoping for it. A part of my soul had been calling for it. And when it finally arrived … I jumped out of my own skin with joy. The best early Christmas present. The absolute best. I loved it. As it happened for every single Grym’s Hollow book, this one was no exception. It drove me crazy. I’m obsessed. Every page was a deeper insight into the bigger picture that connects the entire series together. But this time around we talk about demons … and what a marvel in wickedness they are!! Oziel and Isabelle were the perfect combination of wicked and sweet. Possessive and stubborn. I loved them. I loved their romance and their dynamic. I loved how riled up they got one another and I was there for every single step of their journey through greatness. I mean, I am a simple girl, after all. Give an obsessive, hot and possessive demon king who would blind his people just because they have seen her and I’m good to go !!! This book was perfection and, as always, I cannot wait for the next one !!!
“I did know you harboured darkness inside you. I sensed it the moment I saw you. I’ve been waiting for you to embrace it, Kitten. Stop running from it. Command it”
“You came into my fucking kingdom and wormed your way under my skin: every waking breath, I think of you. You are the first person I think of when I wake up and the last I see when I fall asleep. You plague my mind like a sickness. You, Isabelle, are responsible for this desire burning inside me”
Thank you so much for letting me be an ARC reader for this book. This was my first time reading from this author and it completely pulled me in from the very first page.
We meet Isabella after the revenge is already done. Her sister has been avenged, but victory brings no peace only consequences. Her actions have set irreversible events into motion, binding her fate to Oziel, the ruthless and powerful Demon King and forcing her into a marriage that was never meant to be gentle.
Oziel’s kingdom is rotting from the inside, trapped beneath a devastating curse that threatens to consume everything he rules. What begins as a necessary alliance soon becomes a dangerous partnership as Isabella and Oziel work together to uncover the truth behind the curse. Every step forward reveals darker secrets, shocking betrayals and the terrifying realization that the real enemy has been hiding in plain sight.
The tension between them is slow, brutal and magnetic. Their relationship simmers with unspoken desire, razor-sharp trust issues, and an intensity that borders on obsession. This is very much touch her/him and die energy possessive, protective and lethal in all the best ways. The spice builds perfectly, adding heat without overpowering the story.
Dark, dramatic and addictive, this book is packed with twists that hit hard and a romance that burns just as fiercely as the world around it.
If you love: • Demon Kings • Slow-burn romance • Touch her/him and die vibes • High stakes and betrayals • Spice 🌶️🔥
Then this book is absolutely for you. A gripping, intense read that I 100% recommend.
If you love strong FMCs, arranged marriages, slow-burn romance, and a morally gray demon king, this book is 100% for you. We start with Isabelle, who’s sitting in prison for murdering a man who absolutely deserved it. Instead of rotting away, she’s offered a deal: her freedom in exchange for becoming the wife of the Demon King. And let me tell you—Isabelle is EVERYTHING. Even as a human thrown into the demon realm, she never cowers, never backs down, and never lets fear show. Even when facing the Demon King himself, she holds her ground, and I loved her for that. Enter Oziel 😮💨🔥 — the Demon King who believes love is a weakness thanks to his parents’ tragic downfall. From the start, both Oziel and Isabelle are determined to keep things strictly business. Their marriage has an end date once Isabelle helps save his cursed kingdom, and feelings are not part of the contract… or so they think. The banter between these two is top-tier, and I absolutely loved that Oziel nicknames her “kitten.” I could perfectly picture him saying it with a smirk 😏, and honestly? I ate that up every single time. As they work together to uncover who is poisoning the river and cursing the demons, their connection deepens. This is a true slow burn, but when it finally ignites? The chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥 and so worth the wait. I didn’t realize going in that this is part of a series (it can be read as a standalone), but trust me—I’ll be reading the rest without hesitation. ✨ Thank you to the author, Tati B. Alvarez, for such a captivating story and unforgettable characters. This one definitely left its mark on me. 🖤📖

We're back in Grim Hollow, or should I say Mescos rather! And it's another banger.
Normally in these types of series, the interest and magic which initially draws a reader in have long since disappeared; not so with Ms Alvarez, whose every entry into the universe offers a fresh new perspective, a continuation of the overarching plot, as well as the slow reveal of the mystery behind it all.
I KNEW Ender was going to be important from the minute he came to claim the Dragon Queen. HAH.
Oziel and Isabelle are great characters, both holding a darkness within but coupling it with the need to see justice done in the world, which means they become immediately relatable on some level and not just props to scorn at. Their love also feels earned and fought for, and never loses the push-and-pull which makes them unique.
Also, the fact that Isabelle can go 'I -ed someone' and Oziel responds with 'Just another Monday, innit?' is PURE GOLD.
You can see the bad guy from a mile off in this one, but that's okay because the twists and turns are worth it.
4 brides down and 2 more to go, which means I'm anticipating the Nephilim should actually retaliate soon in some tangible way, but I'm here for the ride.
I need to see how it ends for Mescos, for Ender, and the royal couples, past, present and future!
The Demon’s Beauty was exactly what I need while in between reading longer book series. I’ve been in a bit of a book slump for a while now and I’m so glad I picked it up!
It’s a standalone so naturally the plot moves quickly from the get go. We meet our FMC while she’s in a lot of trouble and facing a devastating loss. I have to say I completely adored her. She had so much inner strength and self awareness without coming off as conceited. I love it when the FMC doesn’t apologise for who she is and what she’s done while being able to acknowledge her own weaknesses.
I was hooked from the very first pages. The plot is quick and engaging and while I guessed the plot twist pretty early on it was still extremely fascinating watching our two MCs navigating the mystery while trying not to fall in love. The romance is hot and intense. I’d love a little bit more interactions between the characters before some feelings and attraction start to appear but overall the tension was fantastic and the spice was great 🔥
There isn’t a lot of world building, but that is expected as a standalone. I think it’s just a perfect amount for making you feel a part of a fantasy world without overwhelming the plot.
Overall a really good read and I recommend it to all fantasy romance lovers who like their romance a bit spicy 🌶️

The Demon's Beauty is kind of a reimagining of Beauty and the Beast and a good one at that. The characters are very likable and complex. Isabelle is a tough, fierce woman who will stop at nothing to right a wrong. Oziel is a figure of darkness, commanding and intimidating, but with a heart of gold. The two of these characters make up an addicting story that has a lot of romance in it.
The story is a little predictable, but that doesn't make it less enjoyable. I wish more characters were introduced because it's kind of easy to guess who the culprit is. The story is wonderfully slow-burning and the tension is palpable at moments. The whole world Alvarez has created is magical and fantastical. I haven't read the other books, but it made me want to.
Speaking of that, I read this as a standalone and it worked that way. I could tell there was some background I was missing behind characters, but it wasn't integral to the plot of this book. However, based on this one, I do recommend reading this one and the other books, which I now plan to do.
Overall, I loved the characters and romance in this book and thought the author created a very compelling world that I'd love to get lost in again.
Thank you to the publisher for the advanced reader copy and I'm writing this review of my own accord.
🥀 BatB retelling 🖤 banter and spice 🥀 snarky but sweet FMC 🖤 broody but gentle demon MMC 🥀 interconnected standalone 🖤 shadows 😏 🥀 gothic atmosphere
I absolutely adore BatB retellings, they’re my favorite, and this was such a fun twist on it! Isabelle was a complex and interesting FMC. Not stubborn to the point of irritation, not TSTL, but with enough snark and sarcasm to make me chuckle aloud. Slightly morally gray but with a gentleness Oziel needed, she was easy to root for and fun to watch grow.
Oziel was your typical dark, broody demon king, but where many authors would make him cold and manipulative, Oziel was actually quite warm and funny. Scary? A bit yes. But he never deceived Isabelle, was always himself, and embraced his dark side. I loved him immediately and couldn’t wait to watch him fall hard for our FMC.
Both MCs had reasons to fight their true feelings, but there was no miscommunication or angst within the relationship and I loved that. The curse and villain were slightly predictable, but the writing was so well done and the world immersive, so I didn’t mind. This was just a gothic fun time with two MCs I enjoyed, spice that was sizzling, and excellent banter. I’ll definitely be checking out the rest in the series and keeping my eye on this author!
THE DEMON'S BEAUTY is the fourth book in the Grym Hollow series, and it's time for the Demon King, Oziel, to meet his match in Isabelle.
Jumping straight in here - I LOVED IT!!! This series is amazing, with each book showcasing a different king and the mortal woman absolutely perfect for them. And Isabelle is perfect for Oziel, no matter how much they both fight it.
I loved how Isabelle desperately needed to see Erin (for reasons you know), and Erin's reaction to the news was perfect. I also loved how it didn't override the current scene, but only added to it. Considering what was going on, it made perfect sense for it to unravel as it did, rather than being blurted out and taking over, as has happened in other books.
I can't say as I was surprised by the Big Bad in this one, but I adored every word nevertheless. And yes, my eyes leaked during a certain scene. Honestly? I defy anyone to stay dry-eyed during one of this author's emotional scenes.
A fantastic addition to the series that is definitely on my re-read list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

The Demon’s Beauty is the fourth book of Grym Hollow, a fantasy romance series of interconnected standalones. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own. Thank you to the author and Flying Pig PR for my eArc.
Tropes and themes include: ✨Beauty & the Beast inspired ✨Arranged marriage ✨Reluctant allies to lovers ✨Forced proximity ✨Soft only for her ✨Hate f***ing ✨“My wife” ✨He loves her sass ✨Dual, first person POV
Rating: 5/5 Stars 3/5 Flames Nickname: Kitten
The Lovely: I loved the dynamic between the FMC and MMC. The FMC has done some dark things and absolutely does not apologize for them. The MMC loves her for it and how she sasses back at him. This made for a fun read.
Also Lovely: I also loved that we got to see some of the characters from the prior books. Allarick saying “Sweet Girl” had me all melty 🫠.
Recommendation: This was technically a re-read for me as I alpha read this story last year. I fell more in love with the banter this time, and I was still shaking my head at the MMC. If you like a relatively quick fantasy romance full of wicked banter, tension and betrayal, I think you would love this book.
Now, this had a HUGE bar to meet after The Kraken’s Queen, which just destroyed me. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
Isabelle is a strong character. Her love for her family has driven her to take matters into her own hands, and she finds herself in Mescos, mated to Oziel. I struggled with her misplaced guilt and how she kept Oziel at arm’s length, but Tati wrote her so well. She was sassy, sarcastic, and smart. Oziel was a nice surprise. He was cold but also had warmth to him. When he fell, he fell, and I loved to see how he accepted Isabelle as she is, sass and all, and brought her along on the journey. They had great banter, great chemistry, great spice.
The cameos were done really well. The world building is so thoughtfully done, and with each book you learn a bit more about Mescos. Do you need to read the preceding three books to get it? No. Will you get more enjoyment out of this book having read all of them? Yes.
Now…lets get to Ender. What is going on there? I need more, STAT. Tati is doing a great job of developing this part of the story.
I received an ARC from Flying Pig PR in exchange for an honest review.
I am surprised by how much I really enjoyed this book. It’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling but make it romantasy. The small touches and odes throughout the book that remind you of Beauty and the Beast was really planted well throughout the book. The FMC, Isabelle, is such a badass. I loved her connection to the MMC, Oziel, and how their story bloomed. It was a slow burn, with LOTS OF TENSION! In the end, I love how Isabelle acknowledged her darkness/power called to him. The connection between them was just really well written and I was genuinely tearing up at the end with them professing their love AND the scene with Erin becoming her friend. I wish would could have gotten more about the demons and like Oziel’s abilities. The plot was really great, with twists and turns, but I do wish we would have learned more backstory. BUT this is the fourth book, and I didn’t read the other 3 previously, so maybe I am just behind. I do plan on reading the other 3, already got them downloaded on my Kindle!
I’ve enjoyed all the other books and Miss Tati you’ve really outdone yourself with this book. The emotional journey was intense love, anger, sadness, and plenty of tears. I was fully invested.
The FMC's story was heartbreaking, and I truly felt everything she went through. She's strong, resilient, and easy to root for. The MMC was intense, possessive, and deeply devoted, which I really enjoyed. Their relationship was emotional and passionate.
The book's strength is definitely its connections to the other books and the ongoing storyline of the Guardian searching for his lost love was sweet and had some surprises too!
I recommend this whole series especially if you love a good portal fantasy romance and some monsters!
I can’t wait for the next 2 books and I hope we get a book for the guardian cause what we know so far about him, I’m so invested in his story.
⭐️3.5 ⭐️ ARC REVIEW The Demon’s Beauty is an engaging dark fantasy that pulls readers into a vivid world filled with magic, danger, and emotional stakes. Tati does a great job building an atmospheric setting that feels immersive and well thought out, making it easy to get lost in the story from the very beginning, even though I hadn’t read the first few books in the series.
While the characters are likable and serve the story well, they could benefit from a bit more depth. At times, I found myself wanting deeper emotional exploration and more development to fully connect with their motivations and growth. That said, their journeys are still enjoyable, and they complement the story nicely.
Overall, The Demon’s Beauty is a solid and entertaining read with strong world-building and an engaging plot. Despite the characters needing a little more depth, it’s still a good story that fantasy fans will likely enjoy. A well-earned four-star read.
Personally, this book didn’t do it for me :/ there was really only 3 characters in the book so it was very easy to tell who the ~mysterious~ hidden villain would be. Also, there was this big power explained of FMC being able to speak to the Nephilim but we only got two conversations out of it — i understand this will have more relevance (probably in the last book when I’m assuming they all come together to defeat the villain), but it needed some more development in this book.
I don’t feel like the MMC or FMC had much development together as compared to the previous books so their declaration of love just felt… off?
That being said, I really liked the continuation of the guardian and getting to learn a little more about him (probably an angel?) and I liked the personality of both the FMC and MMC.
Don’t think I would read again, unlike others of the series, but would definitely read the next one to see how the story ends.

ARC Review: I would like to start by saying that I have read a few beauty and the beast retellings and have never been able to really get into them…until now. This book was so well written to add in the details that remind you of a dark and beautiful story but Tati Alvarez made it all her own. Isabelle and Oziel are connected through a mutual need for one another. Both trying to fight a darkness that they are suffering from. They clearly have desire for one another but are so focused on their goals that they spend so long fighting it. Overtime that all changes and the demon and human become the perfect pair to rule their kingdom. Every aspect of this book had me wanting more. Their relationship, the curse on the kingdom, the magic and the betrayal. Everything was breadcrumbs that made up such a good story. I highly recommend this to anyone that loves fantasy or even those who don’t.
A dark and unique reimagined twist on a classic like beauty and the beast.
Isabelle, a devoted sister who exacts revenge and is willing to pay certain prices for said revenge.
Oziel( love the name. By the way) a demon king who marries a human to figure out a way to in the curse on his kingdom.
There is a lot of banter a lot of darkness, and although I am not usually a huge fan of demon storylines, as a plot, I actually thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Every time I thought I got a certain plot or a certain idea in my head. The twist turned around and made me realize I absolutely had no idea where it was coming from lol
It is not yet released. But if you enjoy morally gray, touch her and die vibes, with a funny amount of banter, then this is the book for you.
I got my first 5 star read of the year y’al! This book BLEW ME AWAY! This was a Beauty and the Beast retelling and let me tell you, it was pure perfection. I might be biased when I say that anything that Tati writes is an automatic 5 star book for me.
Isabelle is going through hell right before Ender comes to save her and take her to her new life. It’s fitting that she literally is going to hell, with her new Demon husband. Oziel is a dark soul who happens to be the Demon King. Both are set on their ways on not falling in love, only determined to come together to save the kingdom. We all know how that’s going to go…
We get betrayal, love, darkness and so much hope. We get a glimpse of the other King’s and the mention of their wives.
The epilogue, wow! I definitely need the rest of the books stat because im impatient lol
Thank you FlyingPigPR for my copy!

I don't know what Tati is seasoning this series with because each book has me more and more obsessed. The previous couples making an appearance in some way will always have me losing my mind because I get a glimpse of them again!
When Isabelle confesses to Oziel what she did and the first time she says she loves him? MY HEART 😫 to be so brave and vulnerable willingly?! She is one of the strongest characters here. I mean, all the women in this seroes truly have been the best of the best!
When I say that I can't wait for the next book in this series, I genuinely CANNOT WAIT!
🌹 Beauty and the Beast Inspired 🖤 Arranged Marriage 🌹 Reluctant Lovers 🖤 Revenge 🌹 Forced Proximity 🖤 Dual POV
Isabelle was awaiting trail for delivering justice that no one else would do anything. But the Guardian is her get out of jail free card. That comes at a price though. Now she must marry the demon king (Oziel) to restore his kingdom. But anything is better than rotting in a cell. I will say I was immediately pulled into this from the beginning. The spice between them was perfect and some of the twists got me! I didn’t get a chance to read the three books in the series before it but I definitely plan on reading them soon! They can be read as standalones which I love. I can’t wait for the next one to drop!
For this being a 4th book in the series and me not reading the others, I didnt feel like anything was missing. The author did a good job tying everything together without making me feel lost. Yes im sure id have a better understanding of what was happening in the world, the guardian, the curse, and the war but I still feel like it was a complete story. I will be reading the other books in this series because of the other couples and the tie in with Erin and Isabelle. The betrayal was expected but also unexpected in the way it all was exposed. Isabelle and Oziel were a great couple. Even though she was his bride, he didnt force her to do anything. He didnt cage her. He let her be.
Firstly, I want to thank booksirens for providing me with this ARC, I am writing this review voluntarily and honestly. I am so happy to be back in grim hollow, this story about Isabella and Oziel was amazing, I love their relationship and how they both wholly accept each other’s darknesses and they thrive together. I love the development in the story and the guardians role in it all, I am so ready for the next book to be released. So far every book has been a hit for me and I’m so excited to delve into the next story.
A solid 4th installment in the Grym Hollow series, but I felt it lacked some of the “girl power” vibes that were so strong in the previous 3 books. I would have liked to see Oziel and Isabelle connect more in quieter moments; i would have gladly read 50 or 100 more pages to have their connection feel deeper than lust.
I still have enjoyed this series very much, and will definitely see it through. I can’t wait for Ender’s story, OMG.
Thank you to Tati B Alvarez for the opportunity to read & review The Demon’s Beauty prior to its release.
I absolutely ADOREDDD this dark romantasy. Isabelle, a human who kills her deceased sisters ex, makes a deal with a demon to get out of jail and oh my goodnessss! she fits in perfectly with the king of Hell and his Kingdom. Her courage, sarcasm, and stubbornness make for every interaction with the MMC, Oziel, a delight and amusing.
Tati's writing style and ability to draw you in as a reader had me unable to put this down when I *was* able to sit back and read. I loved the clear inspiration from Beauty and the Beast and the twist she made with it, from the roses, to the Nephilim, and to all the demons. I was on edge when it came to who was behind the curse.
Everything about this story was wonderful, the description, dynamics, character developments and story telling. All 10/10 🌶🌶🌶🌶 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really, really liked this one. The story line was done very well. And the spice, oh my goodness. That just added to it all.
I loved the FMC Isabelle. She was strong without being annoying about it. She gave as good as she got and I really liked the dynamic between her and Oziel. The premise of the story was unique and not something I've read before. I looooved the nickname Oziel had for Isabelle. It fit her so well. You'll have to read it to know what it is.
I will absolutely be going back to read the previous books in the series and would love to read what comes next too.
