A decent story
It was a good story, however also repetitive. In one area, I read the paragraph, and thought I read it 2x. I didn't though it was 2 paragraphs almost word 4 word the same.

A very quick read but it was enjoyable. I wish the story was longer.
Alpha wolf who has found his mate after looking for a long time. Once all his pack have approved he makes his move.
If you like shifter tales you will like this one.

The Mate: Chosen by the Alpha is a reasonably short read that will probably take you less than a day to read baring any distractions.
The story itself revolves around the mating of Bridget and Varo, so if you just want the sex and not a full story this book is for you. The beginning starts out like just about any story then it changes and the only climactic events that occur in the book involve some seriously hot monkey sex or should I say wolf sex. I think the steam started pouring out of my e-reader before I had the book fully opened. I do wish that this story had more to it because the end was pretty anti-climactic and disappointing. All in all not a bad book if all you want is porn you can watch in head, where you can create your own visuals, instead on tv where the characters already have faces. And after watching this documentary on porn movies on Netflix I am convinced written porn is way better than watching them fake it on the tv screen.

Chosen by the alpha but the pack agrees.
She is a bartender and on her walk home under a full moon after her shift she hears something.
She has heard the rumor of wolves being close, so she tries to get home quick.
She doesn't make it and he wolves are a bit different than she thought they would be, at least the alpha.
She knows him from the bar and is attracted to him.
And he has chosen her as his mate and takes this to the next hot level under the eyes of his pack.
Pity the story stops there, I would have liked to read more about them together

Short Wolf Shifter Standalone book.
Kindle Unlimited read. No cliffhanger. Very short book. Would have given higher rating but the story needed a little more and there were repeating paragraphs and typos that made it a little harder to read. He's the Alpha and his pack has chosen her for his mate. He takes her.

Horrible
I was not expecting the close-to-rape like situation. I really hated this one and I read paranormal s all the time. Why do some authors think that putting a woman into a dangerous situation while removing her consent is acceptable and that magically she really wants to be terrified and controlled? This just perpetuates the stereotype that women want to be forced.

I don't really find wolf-anatomy hot in sex scenes. Nor the idea of 'dozens' of others looking on, and screaming out when the girl does during sex. Least if this doesn't work for her she's got a future in fetish porn.

not bad...
But I thought something was missing. This story lacked any emotion at all. Because of that it let me unfulfilled. The sex wasn't even that good.
