“Beneath the Vow” is the story of Lexi and Casey.

Heroine and hero are married and madly in love. She adores him, he worships the ground she walks on. The story talks about a minor hitch in their HEA where where the heroine is getting harassed and assaulted at work and for some reason decides to hide it from her husband who can protect her
I loved how smitten they were and I get how victims can freeze at such situations but I felt very frustrated while reading this

Lexi is Casey's whole world. There is nothing he would not do for her and that includes killing anyone that hurts her. Lexi finds herself in trouble at work and even though she does her best to keep it from Casey he knows something is wrong. Add is a surprise pregnancy and one OTT Obsessive husband gets even more OTT.
Plenty of heat and a lovely story as well.

This story is about married couple Lexi and Casey.
First part of the book was good, their chemistry was 🔥
Casey was good OTT husband, who doesn’t love that? 😏
Then Lexi gets pregnant, she’s a little shocked about it, but Casey fully supports her and they couldn’t be happier about it.

But then…

*deep breath*

She started to have problems at work with her coworker. He makes her uncomfortable with unnecessary comments and starts to sublty touch her. It goes for a while, she doesn’t tell her husband about it, but he feels that something is not right and is very worried for her.

Because of all the stress, she starts to have health issues, but still going through all this, keeping matter of issue as a secret.
Plus, through all book we were told how big bad
MC leader of a husband Casey is, and how she's scared to tell him because of what he might do to that coworker…

Oh, baby jesus… FMC just pissed me off through all the second part of the book 😤

Long story short, coworker almost SA her and ONLY THEN, Casey founds out what was happening…

AND guess what big bad MC leader did when he found out that someone assaulted his pregnant wife?! Just lightly beat him up!!!

Swoon worthy right?

The conflict of this book is just fatuous…

This was a quick, steamy read that I recommend.

If you have enjoyed other MC series from this talented author, you may feel this one is light on the brother and club stuff, but I loved that the focus was only on the prez Preacher, and his ol' lady, Lexi.

His OTT behavior and devotion to her and her well-being were fun to connect with and enjoy.
I liked the drama in this one and how things resolved.

I'm excited for the next one in this series! Can't wait!

Holy hell I already know I’m gonna love this series! It’s so rare I’ve read an MC where the couple is already married in the beginning of the book and we get to see the entire pregnancy play out on page- and where they don’t have marital issues. But Jessica has delivered that in this series and I’m so excited for it. Casey was so protective and obsessive about Lexi, damn I was swooning! I loved seeing these two. This was a quick read, but the spice was nice, the drama was good and the vengeance Casey served in Lexi’s honor was perfect! And one thing I enjoy about Jessica’s MC’s is zero cheating and I liked there being zero club bunnies or drama from that. This was a great mc read centered around a married couple and their pregnancy and the drama and stress from Lexi’s work and a jerk for a co-worker who can’t keep his hands to himself.

Now That’s a Man!!

How can a fierce MC Prez be a man that every woman could only hope for?! Casey/Preacher would ruin the world if anything or anyone ever touches the love of his life. Lexi and Casey are living the perfect life especially now adding in a surprise that changes their lives. When sexual harassment at work is turning Lexi’s world upside down it’s Casey who will seek retribution. This was definitely a feel-good book with the perfect book boyfriend.

It started off pretty ok, not my style but I was cool with it. Then the sole reason (clearly) behind the book came and every chapter I kept thinking “is she going to tell her husband today?” “Is she going to tell him yet?!” “oh oooh now is a good time to tell her husband” and by the time I called it quits she still had yet to handle the issue herself OR tell her husband. So yeah.. I hope other readers enjoy❤️

Beneath His Vow is book 1 in the Knocked Up and Locked Down series. This was a quick read featuring a husband and wife who are madly in love. I loved Casey's devotion to Lexi but was annoyed with Lexi especially when she became pregnant. I wish she would have confided in Casey sooner especially with the toll the situation was doing to her body.

This is more than a steamy love story — it’s a tale of an over-the-top alpha protector husband and father all wrapped up in the volatile world of MC culture.
Casey is a protective, loving husband who becomes overbearing once he finds out that the love of his life is now pregnant with their baby. He cannot imagine that with his love now split in two between Lexi and their baby that that love has now doubled. He will go to any lengths to insure they are protected at any cost.
Lexi, a strong yet vulnerable woman who is totally devoted to Casey and with the surprise pregnancy makes their connection even more undeniable.
Their story is full of raw chemistry. Lexi challenges Casey’s walls, while he gives her the safety and protection any woman would want. The trope of “accidental pregnancy” is given depth through themes of healing, trauma, and chosen family.

This novella was ultra steamy with a swoony and protective hero who's obsessed with his wife. Casey was the perfect doting yet possessive hero; his whole world revolves around Lexi and he would do anything to protect their growing family. Lexi loved Casey just as deeply, but she struggled between wanting to protect Casey from himself and needing to protect her child. As things continued to escalate at work, Lexi finally showcased her inner strength by trusting Casey completely, while he did what Preacher does best--protect his club and his family. There were so many sweet and sexy moments between Lexi and Casey that demonstrated the love they have for each other as their lives continued to change. The mild drama was perfect in this book, and I cannot wait for more in this series🖤

This book is so hot, plus it has a plot. First, the plot. Lexi is dealing with harassment at work. It gets worse during her pregnancy.
Now the good stuff. Casey is absolutely, completely in love with his wife Lexi, and their love could burn down cities. They are obsessed with each other. He becomes even more obsessed when she gets unexpectedly pregnant. He has a breeding kink, and it comes out to play. He thinks every single thing about her is zexy while she’s pregnant, which is humbling to see and really, really hot. They also have a lot of really steamy sexytime, which enhances the book, IMO. Yep, this book was a pleasure to read and I really liked it.

Honestly this book started out really good. I thought it was going to be a five star book. It was very clear that Lexi and Casey are madly in love. Where things went down for me was the fact that she was having trouble at work being harassed and touched by her supervisor James and she kept it from her husband. Which in my opinion is a Lie by omission. And this started before she found out she was pregnant. After she found out she was pregnant and continued to happen and got worse and when her husband straight out asked her then she lied to his face. Not once but numerous times. This is the man you're in love with you devoted your life to this person but you can't be honest with him. And that is exactly why I dropped down to three stars because the person you're so madly in love with you can't be honest with and you're continuing to put yourself into a situation that is putting stress on your body which can affect your Unborn baby.

I thoroughly enjoyed Lexi and Casey's story. Their journey is filled with suspense, drama, action, obsession, danger, and much more. Casey has always been obsessed with Lexi, and now that he's made her his wife, it's even more so. He slowly notices changes in her, and she tries to hide them from him, which doesn't work very well. When two pink lines appear on a test, he thought that was it, because becoming a father wasn't something he initially considered, especially not as the president of a motorcycle club. When it becomes clear that danger is lurking close to home, especially with Lexi, he transforms into a beast and kills everyone who so much as looks at or touches her—because no one will touch his wife and unborn baby—he will do anything to protect them and keep them safe. A beautiful story.

Preacher and Lexi...oh my!
If you love hot, OTT possessive men who will burn the world down for the woman they love, then this is the book for you.
Preacher is head over heels in love with his wife, Lexi. And when those two little lines show up on a pregnancy test, he is more determined than ever to protect her and love her always. What happens when an overbearing boss starts harassing her, and ultimately takes it too far? Well, this biker will burn the world down and dance in the ashes for his queen. Though this book was light on the mc part, I loved how it focused on Preacher and Lexi, and their love story. It was more on the romantic side, with just enough drama thrown in to keep it from being too sweet. I absolutely loved this book and am eagerly awaiting the next one.
Jessica Ames showed her versatility as a writer with this one and she hit it out of the park.

I loved this idea, a committed couple, already together, dealing with some pretty regular everyday things in their life. Yes, Casey is in an MC, but ultimately he's a cinnamon roll wrap in a hard outer shell. He's the president of his MC and he loves his wife Lexie with every fiber of his being. She is his world, and when she finds out she's pregnant, it's just icing on his cake. The only wrinkle is he knows something is going on with Lexie, he's just not sure what. But one way or another he'll protect her and their child. The spicy scenes in this story are hot enough the reader will need a glass of ice water while reading. I loved these two together and having them as an already established couple was a unique twist. We get an amazing HEA and I look forward to more from this new series.

She is married to the president of the local MC. He is a hot, alpha possessive man who is completely obsessed with her. She is equally obsessed with him. But when someone at work starts making inappropriate advances, she’s too afraid to tell him, knowing he would burn everything down for her. She is his everything and now she’s carrying their future. He can tell there’s something wrong but she’s not talking. He’s gonna find out and he’s gonna fix it. This was a nice twist on the genre and I really enjoyed it. They are already in to their established relationship and it is spicy, hot and panty melting. You get all of the strong, possessive alpha vibes from beginning to end and it is everything you hope for.

Lexi is a wife and Old Lady to Casey who's the president of Crimson Sinners.
Lexi has a family within the club and they'll do whatever it takes to protect their own. Lexi also has a job she most of the time loves but recently it's been stressful. And soon she just hates going in.
When her and Casey find out their expecting she wants to be so excited but the fear she feels at work is preventing it.
Casey knows something is going on. His wife no longer looks strong, independent, capable. She's got fear in her eyes and she won't talk to him about it.
Lexi just wants to handle this on her own because she knows her husband loves her so much that he'll do anything to make her feel safe.
So what happens when it gets worse? What happens when Casey finds out what Lexi has been hiding?
Everyone should know you don't come between a president and his old lady.

I loved this book. It was a great short read.

It has bikers, possessive men who will do anything to protect their woman. A couple that’s married and obsessed with each other. He even takes her so hard that her birth control comes out 😂 and they end up pregnant. I loved the way he was always reassuring her that he will love her even when she’s huge with his kid.

Most of the drama in this book actually comes from her work. As she has been there for a couple of years but they hired a new guy that is harassing her. But she wants to be a strong independent woman and not tell anyone. But it comes to a boiling point and her husband steps in to take care of the little dweeb.

I loved this book with a couple that is already married and their journey to having a baby. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

Wow. I am a big fan of Jessica Ames and loved this book. Happily married Preacher (Casey) and Lexi discover that they are about to have a baby, but not all is going well during the pregnancy as Lexi finds herself in an untenable position at work and doesn't want to let Preacher know what is going on, even though he suspect that all is not well. This short story has everything you would expect and more. While focusing solely on them, it shows the protectiveness of these MC hard men and what they will do to protect the women that they love and also shows the strength and determination these women have, as shown by Lexi and Preacher. Absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next in this series.

The heat between Lexi and Casey/ Preacher is blazing hot. Their marriage is the perfect blend of love, mutual admiration, and trust. He has the dirtiest mouth and she eggs him on every chance she gets! I love their chemistry and how open they are with each other. A villainous boss threatens her happiness and health with constant criticism and unwanted attention. Casey knows his wife and sees her distress and his protective nature just wants her happy! Jessica Ames has a beautiful writing style that makes me feel like the characters are friends: I feel their happiness, their fears, their love, and the sadness! Great new start to this series!.

I had to read this book after seeing this "His wife. His obsession. And Now... She is pregnant." And I'm so glad I did! Yes! He is obsessed (not in a bad way but he will bury bodies and burn civilizations for her). Watching Casey balance his need to protect Lexi at all cost and giving her room to be the woman he loves kept me turning the pages. I want to see more of this couple! I want more of their MC club. I digress, back to this particular story. I did need a little more detail as to what happened to James and Lexi's job. Loved the book, can't wait for the next in this series!.

If you love your men totally, completely and utterly obsessed with their women then this is the book for you. Preacher the MC president and his old lady Lexi are having a baby and to say he’s obsessed with keeping her safe is an understatement. Lexi has issues at work that she doesn’t want to bother Preacher with but with things getting worse, he eventually finds out and is more than ready to burn the world down for her. For a novella this book is packed full of laughs,drama, steam and OTT obsession and it’s fantastic 🖤❤️.

I loved Lexi and Casey so much and I loved how Casey was obsessed with Lexi that he would move the world to protect her and their unborn child. This book had drama and romance but above all else it was the love story between Lexi and Casey that will keep you captive and melt your heart. Although Casey is the tough President of an MC when it comes to his woman and their love for each other he is totally and utterly vulnerable and you get an insight into how much he is in love with his wife. Loved this book and I am so excited to see what Ms Ames gives us next.
