Reckless
Mia’s gift was interesting, a touch and she knew their guilty secrets. After the death of her brother, and finding it was murder. Seems like she is jumping to conclusion and being reckless of who she talks to and where she goes, like a loose cannon. She has become a partner with the ex partner of her brother of which that didn’t work. The more she digs into her brother’s life, and the police wives, she is discovering things she didn’t know. Rather Jack can control her enough to keep her out of jail, till they find the guilty person is a question.
SHAMELESS
Mia and her mother find a young Spanish man and they take him home, later that night the place is burned and his throat has been slit. The beginning of a story of sex trafficking, and now to find his sister Maria.
Mia still seems so young, running off and not thinking before acting, a story that was not my interest. Jack had to go away and still hadn’t returned. She finds the man behind the sex traffic, and loses her horse. Things for her Mother Jess and Max is moving along.
BREATHLESS
Mia still having trouble controlling her gift. Jack telling her there is a child of his he didn’t know about, and he is off. No word and Mia is worried.
Then he meet with Sandy who he hasn’t seen since they were young, and then news that the daughter has been kidnapped. She is sure it is her ex husband, who didn’t except that it wasn’t his daughter. Things don’t add up for Jack, was it the ex or someone else. Meanwhile Mia feels uncertain about Jack, Not my favorite,
HEARTLESS
A stake out which ended with the guy dying and Jack being charged. A client wants help with an online dating service, against Jack’s and Max’s okay Mia takes it and trouble follows. The wedding of Jess and .Max, they were sure Mia would miss. Almost but the case needed to be solve first.
Good plot and seeing just how trouble Mia seems to get into.

An average read.

I really enjoy the Mia character and her personality. The storyline so far has been pretty predictable but since I received books 1-3 for free I continued to read them all. There are some slow parts to this book that does not enhance the story line. I am the type of person who finishes a book unless it is just extremely terrible, which these books are not.

Bottom line: If you have the time to read them and do not spend much I say yes they are worth reading

,Three Stories Three Scores

Number one was a story with the meeting of Mia and Jack. It was a very good story. Heartwarming , maddening, funny, with an intriguing story . Number1, deserves a 5.
Number 2, too much unnecessary detail. Not very humorous although it had its moments. Story line not very imaginative. Maxwell drives me nuts such a self-centered jackass. Jack and Mia',s relationship like that of two 12, year olds. deserves a 2, Number 3, extremely slow starter. Around 2/3 of the way through the story line took off. It became interesting and fun. Although the plot was simple and easily figured out it was a good and enjoyable read. A couple of good twists that were enjoyable and we'll liked. Number 3, deserves a 3.

This was a pretty good book. I liked the characters and their personalities. This has some banter, emotions, a touch of woo-woo stuff, suspense, action, twists, plenty of antics and a good ending. This is something interesting and creative. Good for passing time and a small escape. It didn't quite pull me under but kept me interested in seeing what would happen next. I did get plenty aggravated with the characters though. Have fun!

Loved the scrapes Mia gets into!

I loved how these three books portrayed each character, with the two main characters rubbing each other up the wrong way at first - just like normal! Each story followed on from the previous one and the characters had more depth and background information as a result.

Intrigante mysteries

Very good storylines and well written but the main characters (except Daisy) are a little silly and not very competent, they are trying to work things out as they go along so they are constantly walking into difficult situations and they still don’t have the necessary trust in each other.

Mystic powers

Ok maybe just weird. Touching someone to find out about them. Would i like that power? Liked the books, enjoyed the characters, different stories with a bit of romance thrown in. Enough to keep me interested in the series? Yes

Jack is the best character

I like the story line and Jack's character. I absolutely cannot stand Mia's character. She is like a small child having a temper tantrum anytime she doesn't get her way which always causes her to get hurt.

The Mia Kazmaroff Mysteries books 1-3

Oh, the twisted lies we tell, seems to be the backbone of Mia and Jack’s relationship. If they would only trust one another everything might work out easier and quicker.

Not my cup of tea.

The story is well written. The plot interesting. But I just couldn't get into it. Mia is a spoiled brat and Jack is totally unbelievable.

It was ok

I didn't enjoy it as much as book one and two and the mistakes didn't help either but it was ok.

This author wrote the Maggie Newberry series (loved!).

This. a collection of the first 3 books in the Mia Kazaroff mystery series.

1. RECKLESS: Great beginning to the series. Mia is impulsive and yes, reckless in her attempts to solve the mystery of who killed her older brother, Dave, a homicide detective in Atlanta. She teams up with Dave's partner, Jack, after he quits his job and he reluctantly agrees to work with her to find the murderer. Mia is able to sense past events from touching objects or people. But she is still learning to control her gift. The storyline was intriguing and the characters well-realized. I did not guess the murderer till the very end (nor did Jack or Mia). I read it straight through and am starting #2 with great anticipation!

2. SHAMELESS: Really liked this one though it was upsetting to read about the sex trafficking trade.

3. BREATHLESS: Wow, best of the three! Jack and Mia continue to have problems trusting each other and doing their own investigating without telling the other. But between the two of them a kidnapped child is rescued and her grandmother saved. Really loved this book even though I wanted to strangle Mia on more than one occasion!

My sister and I do psychic readings and have lots of friends who do the same stuff. We always looked forward to the out of town fairs as we would all get together for breakfast and would have fun doing "lipstick" marks off your coffee cup; bites off toast; after 40 years you get who has the gift pretty quick. The description of getting the images in her head were uncanny! Good job, great read!!

Fun characters

I am enjoying this series. I received the first three books free. At times Mis seemed too impulsive, but she is fun. Jack loves her in spite of her crazy actions. I have seen growth and I hope she continues to grow. I look forward to watching this growth .
