KANE JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!!!
This series I didn’t think could POSSIBLY get any better, but I was completely proved so very wrong!!! The whole set has been totally phenomenal and book 7 will just blow you away!! I can not wait for book 8 and will be ready as soon as it launches to be first in line for it , Kane and Emelda are coming into their own and discovering some things about each other and realizing how important each has become to the other and they now have an array of wonderful friends they can count on as well to make their life worth while… this series is a must read , Dick Wybrow you have out done yourself!!!

Wolfwere Series Book Seven
Emelda Thorne and Kane were reunited in book six. They’d been staying with her mom in California, but it’s time to move on. First, they need to find Stanley Gruber to get some answers about the man who killed Kane’s pack, his family, and how to stop him. This quest leads them to a hidden group of people…er, sorta people.
Someone has been kidnapping shifters and hunting them down like animals. Everden is a hidden community, and the last one taken was right under their noses. The inhabitants of Everden aren’t thrilled to have Emelda there. After all, she’s all human, and their secrets must be kept. On the other hand, Kane is quite popular, especially with a beautiful silver-haired wolf-shifter.
When it’s brought to the leader’s attention that Emelda has stopped monsters of all kinds, they ask her and Kane to help. Our heroes are hoping they can call off the Soul Wringer, the person who found them and is after them, but it’s said once they are told to kill, there is no stopping them.
As always: wonderful characters, great plot, and plenty of humor.

New friends
Emelda and Kane are still getting over the surprise of meeting Stanley and has brother Max, both can turn to animal and back at will, now they find out there are a lot of them and they are being hunted. Once they find out that the person trying to kill Kane is connected, they decide to join up and figure out what is going on. Another awesome book in this series. The storylines and the characters keep you laughing and holding your breath and you cannot put the book down. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens, but am sad it is the finale.

Kane was awesome as always, and the side characters - especially Sal and Rat - were beautifully rendered.
But Emelda lost something in this book, I felt. She became a Mean Girl. I didn't like her as much as I did in the other books. There were a lot of animal characters, but their behaviour logic felt under-researched and kept jolting me out of the story with things that didn't make sense (if you know animals!)
And I felt the villain was insubstantial. There, but flimsy and underdeveloped. Felt a bit... trite.
But the writing was good, I laughed, and it was entertaining as hell.

The plot thickens…..
Just when you think you know what’s going to happen, the past comes barging in…..I love these books, cannot wait until December for the next Kane book, or October for the start of the new series Soul Wringer. If you haven’t started the Kane books, lucky you! I wish I could give myself amnesia so I could start them over again. Yes, they are that good. Highly recommend this series. Seriously counting the days until the next Wybrow book.

Such a great story!
I stumbled on this book just looking for something interesting to read. This entire story grabbed me and wouldn't let go. Kane's scene are hilarious and make me laugh out loud more often than not. And Emelda's issues are some that lots of folks can relate to. I'm both excited for the last book, and saddened that the story is coming to an end.

I am telling all you haters right now, this series is an absolute hack for book fatigue/pallet cleansing. Is the subject ridiculous? Perhaps. Is it also extremely well-written, witty, and laugh out loud comical? YES. People are sleeping on this quirky thief and werewolf-shifting French Canadian dynamic duo. Hyjinks will ensue. Mysteries will be solved. Laughs will escape.

Excellent
The new arc goes farther, with news allies, new enemies, new threats. So happy to be able to read more adventures from our main “heroes” without getting bored, as it is often the risk when authors try to cash in a good “filon”. This is NOT the case!

fun series
I have really enjoyed reading this series. Kane is such a great character and has grown so much over each of the books. Kane Resurrected delivered another great piece of Emelda’s story also. Looking forward to the next book.

brilliant series
Loved all these books but especially love Kane , his funny way of speaking his innocence the fact that he he is 6ft 8 and extremely gorgeous and turns into a loveable wolf well worth the read

Book seven continues “The Most Dangerous Game” storyline introduced in book six. Emelda and Kane are trying to flip the script with the help of some new characters. I liked this storyline, and now I am ready to read the conclusion of the series in the next and final book of the series.

Gosh I loved this book! I laughed, I squealed in horror and excitement and pulled my hair in anxiety over Kane’s shenanigans.

This has all gone a bit ridiculous now.
I did like some of the extra characters though. Stopped Emelda’s fawning over Kane being too irritating.
