The Darkness is calling, but Winston Jones would prefer not to answer.
Private investigator Winston Jones is a werewolf. That’s not public knowledge, but in a city teeming with the supernatural, it’s not the weirdest thing going on. Winston takes on cases that the police won’t—or can’t—touch, specializing in the kinds of mysteries that come with glowing eyes, sharp teeth, and things that go bump in the night.
When a friend’s young child goes missing, Winston takes the case and stumbles upon a disturbing pattern of disappearances tied to a dark and ancient force. The deeper he digs, the clearer it becomes—someone is orchestrating a ritual, and if they succeed, the results could destroy the balance of the supernatural world.
With time running out and bodies piling up, Winston is forced to navigate a treacherous underworld of supernatural politics, crime lords, and creatures far older and deadlier than he’d like to tangle with. Winston knows that stopping this threat might take more than just skill and determination—it might mean embracing the very monster he’s fought to keep at bay.

This book was fantastic! An action-packed mystery that kept me turning the pages, with just the right dose of suspense and surprises. You’ll find a few of your favorite creatures lurking not only in the shadows, but in broad daylight too. It’s the kind of story that pulls you in and doesn’t let go until the very last page. A thrilling ride from start to finish!
This is a great read and I could totally see this being a movie franchise. It's got hellboy vibes too it (from what I remember of the movies) but they don't make good movies anymore. Hollywood take note. Up and coming.
