All chapters except one are named 'happiness', but I couldn't be more depressed right now.
I'm usually not a fan of house horror 'cause I watched so many films of these which made the concept boring after a while, but this time it's actually intriguing since it's not solely about house horror but also about the Yugi twins childhood home and their memories. I was always drawn in to Yugi Amane's past, but I never thought that not just his past, when he was still alive, was sad, but also the future.
Yashiro always calls Hanako-kun in situations where she can't save herself, but now it just sounds so unfair. Why is Yashiro always saved, but Hanako-kun never gets the rescue he needs? He's the definition of ‘I care about others more than myself’, he always thinks about the well-being of others first. While being selfless is a nice trait to have, it's unfortunate at the same time.
How can he save her, when he can't even save himself? Who is there to save him? Who will rescue Yugi Amane?
The tragedy and the tension that followed made the ending of this volume perfect. At first it all felt like a bad dream, but it never was. The whole last two chapters were just so unusual, I didn't expect any of these events and as soon as one finished the next one unfolded and I just gasped the whole time.
Why are you upset? Is this not the ‘Happiness’ you all wished for?
While Aoi is hated by lots of people in the fandom, I never really understood it. She just expressed her real feelings after hiding for that long. She started to become authentic. And now, she even started to become brave. What is there to dislike about her?
I'm surprised of the parallels between Yashiro and Amane for the fourth part of the Happiness chapters. Totally got a déjà vu, when I saw it.
