They thought the horror ended last summer. They were wrong.
Camp Hollow Tree 2: The Truth Hurts is the chilling, blood-splattered sequel to the cult slasher hit Camp Hollow Tree. A year after the original massacre, a documentary crew returns to the infamous abandoned camp to “tell the real story” — but what they uncover is far worse than any legend.
One survivor. One grieving mother. One truth that was buried under bodies.
As the cameras roll, cast and crew begin dying in ways too familiar to be fiction. The new killer isn’t hiding — she’s directing. And she has a script that demands blood, pain, and a final scene no one survives.
Perfect for fans of 80s slasher horror, found footage thrillers, and final girls who refuse to die quiet, this brutal sequel slashes deeper, twists harder, and dares to What if the real horror isn’t the killer… but the story we choose to tell?

A film team is trying to make a movie about what really happened at Camp Hollow Tree. Soon the roles are changed. Will anybody of the cast survive? What about the mother and the burlap sack her son wears. Again, a very sinister and bloody murder camp story. The tale isn't very stringent (what slasher movie really is) and logical but stabs you right from the beginning. Not too inventive, reminded me strongly on Friday 13th but who really cares... recommended!
Part 2 for Camp Hollow I gave this a higher star just because it gave you more detail and really elaborated a little bit more than the first one personally I think both stories could’ve just been conjoined into one, but nonetheless the story was very quick and an easy to read in one sitting The story goes through the event that occurred in the previous book and how the truth always comes out if you’re looking for a quick summer camp nostalgic vibe grab it
