A lawman betrayed. A name dragged through the dust.
Sheriff River has spent ten years cleaning up the streets of West Eden, but when three U.S. Marshals ride into town with warrants for his arrest, everything he's built comes crashing down. Accused of cattle rustling, fraud, and murder—and tied to the notorious Blackmore Gang—River finds himself on the wrong side of the bars in his own jailhouse.
But a man like River doesn’t go down easy.
With the noose tightening and execution set for Sunday noon, River breaks free in the dead of night. But he’s not riding alone. Teaming up with the very outlaws he once caged, and resurrecting the infamous Blackmore Gang from his dark past, River sets out to clear his name the only way he knows how—by bringing hell to the doorstep of those who betrayed him.
From dusty saloons to hidden outlaw camps, this is a story of vengeance, redemption, and justice served from the barrel of a Colt.
The law might have turned against him, but River’s not done fighting.
A nice read, as River and the town turn the table on Raymond and his cronies. A good amount of western action and a satisfying conclusion make the read a satisfying experience!
