To save her people, she must free a God.

Welcome back to the Forgotten Lands, a realm where not everything is as it seems. Where the Gods once created fables and creatures for their amusement. A place where the only person Dove can trust is herself.

Dove is no longer a servant of the One Goddess temple. On the run from the king of Haven and set on saving her starving people, she has found herself in the clutches of the fallen God, Orion—a God she has made a perilous deal with, a contract that has him now calling her his.

To uphold her part of the bargain, Dove must partner with Gideon. The very same wolf shifter she was on the run from—and who she can’t stop thinking about. Together, the pair must travel to unknown territories to help free the fallen God, where they encounter Dove’s God-bonded fae prince and his betrothed, a princess who has Dove seeing red.

With the weight of the world now on her shoulders and three irresistible protectors vying for her attention, Dove is experiencing the world on the outside for the first time, and it’s more dangerous than she ever expected—for her heart and her body.

Sing Me Free is book two in the Bonded to the Gods trilogy, a fast-paced why-choose fantasy romance.

Wow, just wow. Sing Me Free totally blew me away! Dove’s back and everything’s bigger. More danger, more magic, more gods who make terrible decisions and somehow still steal your heart. And not one, not two but three irresistible protectors all vying for her attention.

The stakes feel huge! Saving her starving people, exploring the wider world beyond her temple, and trying to stay sane while her heart is on a whirlwind ride. Every scene sizzles with emotion and gorgeous worldbuilding. Magic, betrayal, sizzling hot spice, and fierce loyalties. And what do you mean I need to wait for Book 3!?!

RA Raines books are very fast paced so will keep you hooked in! I feel like this book is a lot heavier on the romance and spice compared to book one which makes sense being further into the story.

I do feel as though some of the characters acted quite different to book one but I also know that book one was a debut and I can 100% see the author coming into her own as this is now her 3rd book released.

I love the three MMC's and their different relationship dynamics with Dove. I'm not okay with that cliffhanger tho 😂 Need book 3!

Omg that cliffhanger, i cant for book 3. Are little Dove is definitely a different person at the end of this book. Book 2 is fast flowing, full of action (in all aspects) and has adventure in every page. Now on to her mates, I love them but from first mention i loved Fury and that love just got more and more throughout book 3. Hes the best mate in my opinion, not sure what that says about me 🤭

More romance and more spice! This second book keeps the plot fast paced while ramping up the spice.

Sing Me Free picks up right where book one ended-Dove finds herself in an unknown land with strange people and facing her fae mate. Dove has made a deal to release Fury but must travel through other kingdoms in order to do so. With her mate by her side, her attachment to Gideon, and her bond with Fury, Dove is able to embrace more of her power and move towards freeing her people.

So much more of the world is explored with Dove in new places and interacting with new creatures, like Ken who I adore! The MMCs make you fall for them more and more with their possessive and protective manners. I absolutely need more of Fury! Plus the artwork that’s sprinkled throughout the story is gorgeous!!

Definitely pick this up if you’re looking for a new addictive why choose romantasy!

Many thanks to the author for the advanced copy!

4.5⭐️ rounded up!

This is an ARC review, with the honour provided by the author herself. Thank you very much, Miss R.A Raine!

First of all, I would like to commend the summary AND the glossary provided at the start of the book. I am the type of person who forgets things a lot, so having a reminder is very nice. The glossary I appreciate so much because I tend to lose immersion when I encounter words that are exclusively for the world itself, so I think it was a pretty good decision to add one.

Story wise, I actually prefer this one to the first book :)) It's because the world feels more established, and now we are just focused on the plot and the characters. I am weak for Dove being able to develop her relationship with ALL three of them, I found myself envious and yearning for atleast one of them (Fury, you still have my heart but MYGOODNESS RIVERN AND GIDEON?? 🥵🫶)

*SPOILER!!*
I hope book 3 comes out soon because I was literally pacing while THAT ending happened and all three of them were definitely going through it (I am so down bad for lovers who go desperate when separated with the love of their life) 🫣

I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from RA Raine in exchange for an honest review. My intentions are to write feedback that reflects my genuine thoughts and is written with the book’s genre and target audience in mind. I aim to review fairly and respectfully, focusing on the story’s purpose.

In Sing Me Awake, Dove is trying to survive. Now, she craves for freedom, truth, and trusting those around her. We see her grow into her truth and come out from the walls that she put up to protect herself from the world. From spending years living in the temple as a mute and a hermit, now she's on an adventure across the Forgotten Lands with the hope of freeing those she loves.

RA Raine's Sing Me Free picks up where the first book left off. Even before diving into the story, I appreciated that the author has left a spoiler-free summary of the first book for those who needed a recap and didn't feel like re-reading the first book before starting the second. It's the little things that make it easier for the reader.

As much as I enjoyed reading the first book in the trilogy, I didn't expect to enjoy the second book even more. During the first book, as we are introduced to more characters, I couldn't help but figure out who I wanted Dove to end up with, which helps because this book is a why choose, and I'm glad it ended up that way. We follow our characters and are privy to their perspectives and inner monologues throughout the story. I found it funny because they can communicate with each other telepathically and hear all of each other's thoughts about one another. This book brings in all the yearning from the first story and delivers all of the spice you wanted. I love that each of her paramours each brought out different parts of Dove, and each has a different way of loving her, without being jealous of the others in this reverse harem.

In terms of the plot, we learn more about the different areas and creatures the other gods created. We see how everyone's prejudices and myopic views of the others are broken down, and soon you see that everyone has the same wants and needs. Together, only understanding and trust will help society. I loved learning more about the Gods, and how their meddling have impacted the very lives and lands they created. To free Fury/Odin, Dove needs to travel the lands and gather those created by the other Gods and teach them the forgotten Fae song she learned. Will she and her troupe accomplish this task, or will they all suffer. I will note that this story does end on a cliff hanger, so be aware of that. Personally, I had a feeling that something like that was going to happen, but now I need to know how this trilogy ends.

The last book in the trilogy can't come soon enough.

‼️ TRIGGER WARNING ‼️

Can I first say… I loved the full page images, they just added to the story, as did the playlist and the map, oh and the glossary help immensely.😊

"Sing Me Free," the second installment in R. A. Raine's *Bonded to the Gods* trilogy, plunges us deeper into the mystical realm of the Forgotten Lands, where danger, desire, and treachery lurk around every corner.

With her heart and fate entangled among powerful entities, Dove emerges as a fierce, heroine navigating a treacherous path.

Picking up from the first book, we find Dove grappling with newfound responsibilities and the consequences of her daring decisions. With the fate of her people hanging in the balance and a perilous deal with the fallen God Odin, her world has grown more complex! This time, she is flanked by three captivating protectors, each with their own motives and secrets, who vie eagerly for her attention. 😜 As she embarks on a journey to free Odin, the stakes rise, bringing with it a mix of external dangers and internal struggles!!

Her clashes with Gideon, the wolf shifter, are electric, filled with tension that fuels their attraction. Meanwhile, the dynamic with the fae prince adds another layer to the story, leading to moments of fierce jealousy! M

The variety of love interests also allows for rich character exploration, allowing us to see different facets of Dove’s personality as she interacts with each character. These relationships bring out both her vulnerabilities and her strengths.

Expanding on the world established in the first book, vivid detail puts us right into the heart of the forgotten lands, where mythical creatures and dark magic intertwine. The author excels at balancing action with quieter, moments, allowing us to experience the danger of Dove’s surroundings. The various territories they visit are imaginatively described.

The tension is expertly crafted, not only in the romantic subplots but also in the high stakes adventure. Every encounter is fraught with danger, and just when it seems like Dove has found a moment of respite, new challenges arise!! (Give her break! 😜)

"Sing Me Free" is a captivating continuation of Dove's journey that combines fantasy adventure with the intricacies of romance.

If you're a lover of fantasy romances that challenge the conventional, *Sing Me Free* is a must read!

Oh….. CLIFFHANGER!!!!

✨ Sing Me Free by R. A. Raine ✨
(Book 2 in the Bonded to the Gods trilogy)
To save her people, Dove must free a God… but along the way, she finds herself entangled in danger, desire, and three very irresistible protectors. 👀🔥
This sequel had me absolutely feral—in the best way. Sing Me Free takes everything I loved from Sing Me Awake and raises the stakes higher:
💙 Fated mates & forbidden bonds
🖤 Touch-her-and-die x3 (yes please)
💙 Gods, bargains, & betrayal
🖤 Steamy tension that will make you feral
💙 A heroine who grows fiercer with every page
"If Fury is the thread of my heart that sets me on fire, Rivern is the thread of my heart that calms my storm."
Dove’s journey held me in a chokehold as I read, with each page filled with fast paced action, banter and a little spice—just to keep you eagerly flipping through the pages.
Her fiery clashes with Gideon, the wolf shifter are electric (the tension is unbearable but soooo good 🤌), and Rivern, the fae prince had me gritting my teeth right along with Dove (hello, jealousy 👑💔). But what surprised me most? Fury.
In Sing Me Awake, I wasn’t sure what to make of him—he felt untrustworthy and I was not his biggest fan. But Sing Me Free completely flipped my opinion. His loyalty, his fierce dedication to Dove, and the way he stands unwaveringly by her side… I fell for him hard. His softer moments were some of my absolute favorites, showing that behind all that power and intensity lies someone who would burn the world just to protect her. 🔥
The Forgotten Lands feel even more alive here—lush, dangerous, and brimming with myth and magic. The addition of the Kraken was superb. I loved that unexpected element. I loved the little extras too: the full-page artwork, playlist, and map added so much atmosphere, turning the book into a full experience rather than just a read.
R. A. Raine knows exactly how to balance heart-stopping action with tender (and steamy 👀) moments. Just when you think Dove’s earned a break, something new comes crashing in—but it only makes her shine brighter, and I couldn’t stop cheering her on.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — This series is quickly becoming a favourite shelf trophy 🏆, and Sing Me Free is a stunning continuation that left me desperate for the finale.
If you love fast-paced why choose fantasy romance with danger, betrayal, sizzling chemistry, and protectors who will destroy the world for their heroine, this one belongs at the very top of your TBR. 💙

🖤 ARC Review: Sing Me Free by R.A. Raine🖤

4.25⭐️
2.5🌶

This is book 2 of the series and it picks up right where book 1 left off. I appreciate the quick reminder of what happened in book 1 at the beginning of the book, it was a nice refresher before diving back in.

I love the growth that Dove goes through in this book, I am a sucker for character growth and Rebecca knocked it out of the park. Dove is written exceptionally well!

I enjoyed how this book dove deeper into the dynamics of the relationships between Dove and Rivern, Gideon and Fury. I'm newer to the why choose and this one was so fun to read. The adventure, the banter and the spice were off the charts in book 2. It did not disappoint. I love Gideon aka the brooding wolf shifter but I will forever be a Fury girl. His quips and commentary throughout this book had me giggling, kicking my feet and screaming internally. I cannot wait to see where book 3 takes Dove and Fury 🫣

Also new loveable side character unlocked, I am low key obsessed with Ken 🥰

You should read this if you like:

💙 MFM (why choose)
🖤 Deals with Gods
💙 Touch Her and Die x3
🖤 Quests & Adventures
💙 Chosen One
🖤 Multi-POV

Fave Quotes:

"If Fury is the thread of my heart that sets me on fire, Rivern is the thread of my heart that calms my storm."

“Sometimes, two co*ks are better than one.”

"Love. Even that doesn’t feel like the right word for it. Our souls are connected like our threads have been woven together by the Goddess herself, never to part, even beyond the veil."

"He is Ken the kraken. Ken the kraken wouldn’t hurt a wisp. I can trust Ken the kraken, even though he is possibly larger than Saff, with eight blue- sucking tentacles and two large, all- seeing eyes with black irises."

“You are everything I have dreamt of. You are mine. I am yours. You may think yourself unworthy, but in truth, I am unworthy of your strength, your courage. I face this world with extreme power. You have only faced adversity, and it has only made you stronger. I am in awe of you.”

"The scars on her neck stand out in contrast to the rest of her skin. They only endear her to me more, her past a testament to the woman she has become. A woman I will lay my life down for."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hello, yes, my heart is still missing and is still in the possession of Prince Rivern.
And, you know what? He can have it.

This second instalment in the Bonded to the Gods series starts off right where book one ended, and it simply does not let up at any point.
It's right into the action, while still maintaining the finesse of world building entwined with romance and plot.

"One thing I have realised since being with this fae male is that home is not a place, it's a person - or maybe people, in my case."

I loved seeing the relationship between all three MMCs and their FMC develop even further, and the dynamics between each of them and her.
Seeing Dove come into her own and bring out the fire that Fury knows resides within her? I absolutely adored it.

"If Fury is the thread of my heart that sets me on fire, Rivern is the thread of my heart that calms my storm."

This one is absolutely packed with different POVs, yet they all lend themselves to the story and truly add their own element into the world.

I was not expecting to be so fiercely supportive of my girl Moyrie, but here we are.
I love her and I can't wait to see what she brings to the final instalment.

That cliffhanger though? I need book 3 ASAP!

Thank you, R.A Raine, for the opportunity to read this eARC!

4.5 ⭐️

This book packs no punches and starts off exactly where book one left us, and from the second it starts, it's a wild ride right to the end (and that end!! Ahhh - hang on... I'm getting ahead of myself).

Dove, Rivern (her Fae Prince) and Gideon (her shadow, and wolf) are out of their depth in foreign lands, fighting for their freedom and their desires - all while Dove is fending off her god-bond with Fury (who has boundary issues)... which she may not actually want to fight against. Their quest - to set Fury free of his endless captivity and in return, he'll help Dove overthrow the tyrant King of her people so they can finally be free and prosper.

Set against the backdrop of deserts, underwater cities and a broken kingdom, you'll fall into the excellent world-building and not want to leave these characters behind. Honestly, the underwater world is incredibly detailed and unique.

There are a lot of characters that have a voice in this book, but not once was it overwhelming or confusing, each characters narrative sliding into the next seamlessly, so that the reader is desperate to know what happens next. Rebecca has done such a great job at threading all the storylines together, but leaving just enough dangling to keep you hooked.

If you love:

- why choose
- bonded and mates
- spice
- quests and adventures
- touch her and die vibes
- morally grey MMC who will burn the world for her
- the chosen one
- multiple POV

Then pick this series up!!

The story of Dove continues as she works to unite a variety of races in an attempt to free Fury and the people of Terra. As Dove and Rivern reunite and strengthen their bond in the land of the Silver Sands, things get complicated when Dove finds out not everything is what it seems. At the same time, her other companion, Gideon, struggles with the bond. Things take a turn when they embark on the next part of the journey when they encounter the Mers. Can the trio successfully complete their task? Will Fury finally be freed or will everyone die trying?

The worldbuilding continues in this story and it makes you realize just how vast the realm is. Everything that Dove is doing is so much bigger than what the initial impression is. Dove continues to be a fighter and learner. One of the elements I really appreciate is how the reader learns alongside Dove and it does not feel overwhelming despite how much more urgent the overall tone is. Time is running out and actions must be taken to save everyone. Gideon’s character in this book is so good. Seeing his development and interactions with all the other characters is charming because the initial impression of him is so different compared to where he is now.

If you’re looking to continue on this journey of bonds, fated mates, and a strong FMC, you’re definitely not going to want to miss out! Thank you so much R.A. Raine for the gifted ARC and I cannot wait to see where the next book takes us!

All opinions are my own.

After winning a competition for Burn in Rapture and receiving stunning artwork directly from the author, I knew I had to dive into Sing Me Awake and Sing Me Free. I devoured both books almost in one sitting—they were utterly addictive.
Dove, the protagonist, instantly captured my heart. A mute, invisible servant hidden within a temple, she quietly senses that her world holds more than the confines of her current life. Across the two novels, she transforms into a powerful figure at the heart of a prophecy, joined by a bonded Fae, a brooding wolf-shifter bodyguard, and a shadowy god who speaks directly into her mind.
Determined to break free from the oppression of her past, Dove embarks on a mission to release Fury—also known as Odin—a dark, seductive god cloaked in mystery, to help liberate the people of Terra from the cruelty of its ruling family.
Along the way, she struggles not to fall for her trio of intense male companions. Expect some steamy moments, including MFM scenes that turn up the heat.
R.A. Raines’ world is rich with fantastical creatures—dragons, dragon eggs, merfolk, and even a Kraken—making the journey as magical as it is thrilling.

That Cliff-hanger Ms Raine!!! WHAT!!!! 2026 cannot come quick enough for book 3.
My grateful thanks to R.A.Raine for allowing me the opportunity to arc read Sing me Free, all comments are my own.

Sing me free is the second book in the Bonded to the Gods trilogy by R A Raine.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC from the author and I’m sharing my review because I genuinely couldn’t put this book down! I read it in a day when I’d planned to read it over 3 🤣

The story picks up right after the events at the end of the first book in the series and dives straight in - no slow starts around here as we get to know new characters, histories and prophecies from the get go.

It’s fast paced with lots more world building and action moving to different locations (and danger!) across the forgotten lands as Dove (the FMC) works to keep up her part of the deal with a God she is bonded to in order to save the people in her hometown - where she’s been kept as a servant before she escaped in book 1.

Dove has changed dramatically across the first two books in the trilogy, and there’s still another book to come so I’m excited to see where she goes next - especially given that major CLIFF HANGER ENDING!!

This book is also A LOT spicier than the first one - I mean she’s got a fae male prince she’s bonded to AND a wolf shifter plus the God? It’s very much a why choose - can’t choose - won’t choose - situation and she very much enjoys everyone, if you know what I mean 😉

A really good book, I’d definitely recommend reading the first one then diving right into this one.

In Sing Me Free, Dove's journey reaches new heights, converging in a captivating dance!!

Thrust back into the Forgotten Lands, a realm where magic and mystery intertwine. Once the playground of the Gods, Dove continues to uncover her own inner power, trusting her own instincts, unlocking a whole new world.

“To save her people, she must free a God.”

The deal of all deals! determined to save her people and fueled by her sacred pact with the fallen God, Odin. In a bizarre twist, Dove joined forces with Gideon, the wolf shifter she's been evading and can't seem to shake from her mind.

“I know.” The smirk that greets me is utterly tantalizing.” (Dove)

As they travel through unfamiliar lands, Dove's life gets messy with the arrival of her God-bonded fae prince and his princess bride-to-be, who Dove instantly loathes.

Building on the rich world in the first book, the vivid descriptions transport us to the treacherous landscapes and fantasy fueled territories. The story plot is rendered in elaborate detail, masterfully weaving together action-packed sequences and subtle moments. It’s not just the romantic drama that's got me hooked. Every encounter is a total nail-biter, and just when Dove thinks she's safe, new obstacles pop up!

So if you’re a high stakes thrill- fantasy romance fan! This adventure awaits you!

First of all, I want to thank the author R.A. Raine for choosing me for her ARC team!
The book is 4.5⭐️

The adventure continues after a very nice cliffhanger and things are starting to get into place. Plots, plans, and more adventures are yet to come. Dove and her mates are found in peculiar predicaments. They need to find ways to save the kingdom, stop the evil king, and save Fury who is crazy for Dove, has powers and he doesn't care about anyone else than her, after all, he knows her the most! Always looking after her in his own way. The book of course ends in a cliffhanger and I can't wait! The steam in the second book is delicious. I couldn't put the book down! I believe, the third book will have Fury burn the world with the help of Gideon and Rivern. The dedication these males have to Dove is beautiful. I also loved the background we learned about the characters, I can't wait for more

Tropes:

Ancient magic
Wonderful nicknames
Revenge plot
Mating bonds (yes multiple) why choose?
Charming prince
Dark God
Broody wolf
Chosen one
Banter
Knife in the Throat
Goddess treatment
Multi-povs
Fae, gods, shifters, dragons, etc

3.5/5
Spice: 4/5

I love the storyline, the characters, the developments, and the fact that it focuses on the plot more than the relationships. I really couldn't put this down and highlighted so many good lines, but some of the writing and romance were cringe for me. It didn't fit with the theme or the setting. The vibe for the book for me was more on the darker side and more serious, so when some romance was happening, the lines were just too soft and romantic that it was out of place for me. I also felt that her bond with Fury is being forced into an enemies-to-lovers ordeal; it doesn't seem natural because it wasn't set up like that in book one. Do they dislike each other? Yes. Is the situation ideal? No. But there's nothing that I could feel would react to hate like the FMC mentioned in the book. Some parts were hard to get through, but the writing, the world-building, the plot, the characters, the storyline, and not to mention the spice had me sat. It is a slow burn from book 1 to this book as then actually doing the deed, but it's worth the wait! I do look forward to the next book.

What a sexy sequel! I mean literally. This second book was full of yearning, sexual tension, mate bonds, nudity, and quite a few spicy scenes.

The author provided a recap of what has happened so far in the series, which was absolutely fantastic to read. This second book picks up right where book one left off, with Dove and Gideon off to find the creatures who will help them free Fury.

It was more of an adventure and trials type of story than book one. Dove is made to come into her own much more and grow as an individual. The powers she now shares with her god, don't hurt to have either.

Along with the sexy fun times the book also tackles racism and prejudice, and how it has affected the world these characters live in. There's many preconceived notions that are challenged and the author treated the topic of polyamory in a nontoxic manner. I loved how accepting all the men were to Dove and each other.

Then that ending was a major cliffhanger, as expected. Can't wait to see how it all gets wrapped up in the final book

Thanks to the author for an ARC to review

In Sing me Free we get to see more of the Forgotten Lands than in the first book, Sing me Awake, and I found it better than the first one as well.

I enjoyed the growth of the characters mainly of the FMC, Dove, who is finally getting to see outside of the confinements she grew up in, but she still needs to accept who she really is.

I loved the growing tension between her and her MMCs, Gideon, Rivern and Fury, and the interactions between all of them get more and more interesting.

If you like fantasy, with a world building very well done, not overly complicated or needing lengthy explanations, where our FMC has to grow and face internal and external adversities, all while having three obsessed males who will do everything for her, them this book is for you!

Can’t wait for book three to find out how will they face the betrayal and save the Lands.

I feel very lucky to have been chosen to receive an advance review copy for free, and I’m very thankful to the author R.A. Raine, and I am happily leaving this review voluntarily.

✨Rivern and wanting to give Dove all she wants and deserves
✨Gideon and all his sexual tension and protection 🤭
✨ Fury showing Dove she’s the fuel to his flame and showing her all her powers are within!

🌊 The Mermaids and Krakken aspect were so cool and kept me fully immersed I couldn’t put this down! 🧜🏻‍♀️ I wonder what becomes of our Sand and Mer friends 💞

Eeekkk and that cliff hanger?! 👏🏻✨
R.a Raine knows how to keep me hooked! Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this!

I am obsessed with this series. I devoured the first one in a matter of days and did the same with this one. Sing me Free is empowering FMC energy. Dove started out as this invisible girl in the first book and in this one she is owning her power. While some insecurities still lurk I love seeing her over come them. She's got Rivern, Gideon and Fury to boost her confidence and hold her when she wants to fall apart. These 3 bring the perfect dynamic relationship to this book. From they're swoonworthy remarks to their spicy tongues you never what you are going to get. You fall in love with each of these men which makes the why choose romance *chefs kiss* in this book.
Not only is it romantic and has some great personal character development Dove is also building some friendships with other main characters that is a nice addition to the storyline.
The world building has such vivid details. I loved the Mer lands and the contrast of the Silver sands. Plus theres a dragon and a kraken in this book. So fun. I really enjoyed this and recommend to every fantasy reader.

Highly enjoyed book 2, I’m think it might have been better than book 1! I love how all of Dove’s relationships developed! Especially with Moyrie, as I was really not a fan of her in book one but she definitely grew on me throughout this book. I feel like she became a good friend to Dove and I adore it!

Did I like Rivern (mostly) in book 1? Yes I did. Do I like him better now, Hell yes I do! Was Gideon my favourite before….yes! Is he still? Now that is a tougher question cause I am really liking Fury a whole lot now as well! (K I mean all these boys are super fucking hot) but I love Fury’s possessiveness and his mouth just makes me 😩🫠!

Did I expect that ending? I had a feeling that it would lead that way……Am I still mad about it? Of fucking course I am. Damn cliffy’s! UGH! But I cannot wait to see what happens next! Seriously want to see what everyone will do!! (PS - also loving Dove’s character development and can’t wait for her to realize the amazingness she is, like when she sees herself like how her boys see her!) 🫶🫶

Sing Me Free continues the story of Dove and her males. There is a fae, a dyre wolf shifter and a god - a proper ”why choose” situation, indeed.

Dove needs to free the god Fury (Odin) from his prison island and the task takes her to the kingdoms of rhe Silvers and the Mers - the peoples created by different gods. In order to free Fury, she needs to form alliances between enemies and bonds between herself and the three males, all fawbing over her in one way or another.

The spice goes up a notch or two (or three!) in this book compared to the first one and the story has a better flow, now that there’s a task that requires Dove to go places. We get to know more about the different peoples and their habits (even if a bit superficially) and more interestingly, the different kinds of bonds / relationships Dove has with Rivern, Gideon and Fury.

I still find some of the storytelling lacking depth, but I was entertained nonetheless. And the cliffhanger at the end - you’ll probably want to read the final book in the series as well, once it’s released in 2026.

I was kindly accepted into the ARC team for this novel and was given a free copy of the book in exchange for my honest review. This is it. I actually gave it a 3,5 stars on my own scale, but as the story was getting more interesting, I’ll gladly round it up to 4 here.

And now the fun starts!!
Book 1 had us meeting all the characters and world building and now we are off on an epic fast paced adventure.

Our FMC Dove has a fae prince, a shifter wolf (❤ Gideon), a dark feathered fallen god, and a dragon - this girl has it all and she's off to meet even more incredible characters including a kraken.

The spice is spicy, the banter and yearning is yummy and the cliffhanger has me hanging on by a thread!! - book 3 needs to be in my hands ASAP - I cant wait for more Fury ❣ and to see where we go next.

Thank you R.A. Raine for giving me the opportunity to ARC another one of your books ❤

Our FMC (Dove) journey continues in this book, bringing even more depth to the mission and the romance. Everything intensifies here: the plot, the stakes, the conflicts, the emotions, the spice, and all the twists and turns of events! I was completely invested and couldn’t stop turning the pages. I enjoyed the intriguing world-building (though i feel it's leaning more towards the romance side), and i find the Silvers and Mers bring such a unique and refreshing take that sets it apart from other books with similar tropes. The love interests are irresistible (yes, I’d happily take them all 😂). A solid, standout sequel and another remarkable piece from author. Can’t wait for the next one!

Thank you for the ARC opportunity 🙌.

Absolutely screaming about how good this was! Picking up in Silver Sands the action starts immediately and doesn’t stop for the entire book. Dove, Gideon, and Rivern working to complete the task set to them by Fury was so insane. Getting to meet new types of creatures was awesome. The spice kicks off a bit in this and it was super tasty. The tension was still at an all time high which I loved. Dove learning to trust her bonds was really satisfying and the way they’re all helping to piece her back together was great. There was a lot of stuff going on in this and it kept me so hooked the whole time. The cliffhanger at the end has me so excited for the last book! This was an incredible read.

I got this as an ARC but all opinions are my own!
