Continuing the explosive adventures of Thunderbolt Ross! But this is no ordinary prison he finds himself trapped inside. Instead, it's a top-secret, gamma-research facility run by none other than the War-Wolf! Meanwhile, Machine Man and Deathlok are evading the police as they hunt for Ross! But they don't fully understand the dangers that await them at Project Alpha! Here, at this secret lab located deep in the mountains, General Ryker reveals his plans for the Red Hulk - who is now both a prisoner and an experimental weapon! But with Latveria still on Ross' mind, can he and his crew bring down War-Wolf and dethrone Doom?

This one was so epic like Ross is taken as a prison by the US and he feels betrayed and you see experiments being done on him by General Ryker but he died last issue but you see who and what he has become aka WAR WOLF and his experiments on Ross are insane and wild and I love that, it makes the comic that much more wild and like reminds you of body horror from the Immortal Hulk book and Geoff Shaw's art on this book is amazing and really well done and like you see the scenes of him escaping and making his way to Pentagon and then after having his name cleared, like his crew hunt for WARWOLF in latveria so its like coming back full circle from the first story arc and I love that about it!
It feels like one of those 80s hollywoods movie with a simple plot of breaking out and then invading and reclaiming it and I love how the writer in this volume and series explore the strategic mind of General Ross and his undying love and loyalty for USA and what he will do to keep the american might on the world and its amazing to see it and sure geopolitical conflicts aside thats pretty much in the character of Ross. I love the side characters and sure they don't get much of an expansion but the were fun additions to the series and by the end they become a guerilla outlawed team and thats cool to see.
And what Ross does next ties into the next Captain America volume by Chip so well!! Seriously such a great volume here by Percy and one of the best series of 2025..its action thriller with amazing art!!
