I received this book as a arc for my honest opinion. It's been a long time since I picked up a book. With family and work I don't have a lot of time to sit down and read. With that said, once I read the back to see what this book was about I started reading. I couldn't stop. This story came alive for me. I could feel every emotion. The love, passion, fear, love, strength of each character. Monte and Jasmine had a passionate and hot one night stand. A year later Jasmine is trying to decide if changing career from fashion to something she feels will fill her with passion, becoming a teacher. So she decided to try teaching by becoming a substitute. She get her 1st assignment and on her 1t day guess who needs up being the principal non other than the man she can't top thinking of. Her one night stand Monte. For Monte he has been thinking and dreaming of jasmine since that night and here she is. See Monte lost his wife two years ago and the only woman he has been with just walked back into his life.
Reading about these two. As they try to figure out if they have something more or is it just sex. While trying to figure out there own futures, needs and wants.
Absolutely one of the BEST ROMANCE BOOKS OF 2017.
If you want a book that has everything without being over sexed,over the top lifestyles, or over everything. Then THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU. ... it is written in a way that you can truly feel and believe in the story and the characters. .
If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. A MUST READ ASAP THE DAY IT COMES OUT. SO DON'T WAIT PREORDER NOW.

I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of this book from the author. This in no way influenced my review.
Monte and Jasmine had quite a story to tell. Monte has been widowed for two years but unable to move on from his grief. One year in, he has a one night stand that has not left his mind since. He knew nothing about this woman but something about her has put a crack in the walls around his heart.
Jasmine is a very successful handbag designer. She isn't as happy in her job as she knows she should be. She wants to do something to give back. Teaching is what came to mind. She decided to take a substitute teaching job to be sure this was what she wanted. One night a year ago she had a one night stand. This was very uncharacteristic of her but she couldn't shake him from her mind.
Her first assignment was at Brookhaven Elementary School. Imagine the look of surprise on each of their faces when Monte turned out to be the principal at this school. Neither had forgotten about the other so this presented some awkward moments.
This story grabs you right from the beginning. The way Monte and Jasmine dance around each other.....telling themselves it is only sex.....I wanted to scream at them to talk to each other....I don't want to tell you anymore and spoil things.....you will just have to read it for yourself.

Jasmine spent years making a name for herself designing handbags. She has a successful career but wants to try a new career which makes a difference. This lead her to education so she's taking a chance and working as a substitute to see if it's what she is looking for. What she wasn't expecting was to find her new principal is Monte, the man she spent an unforgettable night with in New Orleans. Monte lost his wife two years ago and his one night with Jasmine was supposed to help with his physical needs, he's not ready to move on just yet. When she comes back into his life unexpectedly he knows that one night wasn't enough. Can these two who began with just a physical relationship find their path to true happiness without letting their jobs get in the way? A sweet story but I had a hard time connecting with the characters. Something felt like it was holding back in the emotional development of the relationship. Outside of that, fun read!

Upon seeing him she knows he is the one who rocked her world like no one ever did before. How many dreams has she had about him since?
Monte realizes that Jasmine is the very woman he met in New Orleans who he couldn't forget. Heat rises in his system knowing that it is her. How can he get her in his life? Is she the one to help him release his deceased wife after two years?
This a wonderful book on second chances...I won this book from a GoodReads contest and it is very good. First time reading this author but a great read.

I won this book on Goodreads.com. It was a nice, fast read. Two people meeting a year after a one night stand. A one night stand that neither forgot. The power of the attraction was still there. He was still in the grieving process from the death of his wife. She was looking for something new after being a successful fashion designing business owner. Was the attraction more than lust? Was there to be a connection of the mind and heart? Both were taking steps to make major changes in their lives. Would meeting again make a difference in the changes they were contemplating? Would they stay together or would they once more go their separate ways?

I just got this second edition of the book called Lesson Plans from the author Jamie Jones as always she did a awesome job definitely have to give her a 5 star rating once you start reading this book you won't want to put it down can't wait to read more of her series of books that she has again thank you to the author Jamie jones
