When grad student Kai gets hopelessly lost in forbidden mountain territory, he stumbles into the domain of something that shouldn't exist — a towering orc warrior whose primal dominance awakens submissive cravings Kai never knew burned inside him.
As Kai surrenders completely to Thorgrim's brutal ownership, his body is claimed and stretched by massive green hands and an inhuman tool that splits him open beyond mortal limits. Each devastating encounter floods him with supernatural seed while leather collars and harsh commands transform him from an uptight academic into a perfect little submissive.
Submit to the wilderness where dominant beast meets total surrender!
First of all, this is the first book I've read by this author and I was extremely impressed with the caliber of the writing. The author truly knows how to build a scene and connect on a very visceral level. Admittedly, there's not a lot of plot and minimal world building. 90% of the book is intense erotic scenes - from primal and humiliation to masochistic endurance of pain and, while I enjoy these in the scope of a storyline, I was skimming during the last couple of chapters, looking for a little more substance to satisfy my interest. As I said, it's very well written, and even the use of derogatory words and phrases are done with precision and fit the overall feel of the story. I just wish there was a tad more story outside of the "being dominated and abused". Still a decent read and I'd give it 3.75 - 4* .
