Following her best friend's passing, Chloe has been finding solace in the world through her VR headset, including going on virtual dates with the charming Blaine amongst the glittering skyline of Manhattan.

Everything seems to be perfect, except for the obvious, that Blaine is just an avatar she doesn't know in the real world. As their chemistry grows, offering Chloe the escape she has been seeking, Blaine throws out the idea that Chloe should go to New York to find him. But going to New York will open more than just a search for the mysterious Blaine, as the city holds old wounds too with Chloe's ex boyfriend Jimmy now living there. The memories of Jimmy, as well as of her friend Kerry, begin to come flooding back with each step closer Chloe takes toward New York City.

Deciding to go and find Blaine, Chloe finds herself reuniting with Jimmy and she is forced to ask herself the question of what it is that she really wants.

Thank you to the publisher Bedford Square Publishers for providing this book for review purposes via NetGalley all opinions are my own.

This book was a beautifully written exploration of grief and second chances, it made me tear up in places and laugh in others. My heart broke for Chloe after all she went through losing her best friend Kerry, her breakup but I think after all of that she was allowed to fall apart. I can see why she wanted to lose herself in the Metaverse as it was pure escapism, deciding to track down Blaine in New York after the app they were using went down was absolutely mad. Why I have done it? Probably not but I enjoyed reading as Chloe adapted to her new reality and learnt to forgive herself. Her adventures round New York were a hoot and I loved her friendship with Lila, she was just the friend she needed. I enjoyed Chloe reconnecting with Jimmy, no spoilers but these two were perfect for each other and Jimmy was written very realistically, he was very relatable.

No complaints about the authors written as this book is beautiful and I loved every moment of it, if you are looking for a contemporary romance that will tear your heart out and then mend it this book is for you. I truly loved it.

I am a huge fan of Anna Bell books as they are just that little bit deeper than you expect and sometimes they really do pack a punch! Virtually yours deals with grief and and does it very well. Chloe loses her friend and is struggling with the loss and so she turns to virtual reality world to escape her own reality. She meets Blaine in the metaverse and she decides to go to New York to track him down, which was madness!

A great story written so beautifully, I will admit i was a wreck whilst reading some parts but i must say it came full circle and I was left feeling like Chloe worked though her grief and found herself

Amazing story!

A poignant and heartfelt book about to opening yourself up again after losing your person. Chloe is a grieving heroine taking solace in a metaverse world. She will be frustrating but you totally understand why she does what she does. I loved that this story had a bit of a twist with the romance. It was clear there was a lot of love there but he was unable to reach Chloe who was struggling but in denial about how much help she needed.
