All three of them took a deep breath at the same time and it freaked me out. Anson lightly gripped my upper arm and the moment his fingers touched my skin, the pain worsened.
"You're going into heat." Anson said. "Why the hell would come out here alone during your cycle?"
Was I hallucinating because what the fuck did that mean?
"The hell are you talking about?"
Anson looked confused. They all did.
"Don't you know?" Dax asked.
"Know what?" I snapped.
"That omegas go into heat when they find their mates." Ace replied.
DNF. This edition needs editing. The beginning is pretty bad. The language is awkward, the plot unbelievable and the character development is non existent. A college woman, looking for her sister in a drug den, meets three hoods who tell her she is their mate and she promptly goes home with them and engages in sexual activity. Oh, they're werewolves, and they say she's their omega mate, but she knows nothing. Then the Alpha, who's in jail, mates her at the prison, and alpha orders her to move in. None of this is attractive or romantic, and she's just, "whatever".
Really enjoyed this book. Yes it could do with a little editing in a few places but nothing that distracted from the story itself and yes at the beginning I wasn’t sure how it was going to go however I found that as it went on the development of the story and characters drew me in. Would definitely recommend and look forward to reading more from the author.
I'm a very avid reader. This book was fantastic. A whole new twist on werewolves and omegas. The plot was amazing. The scenes were spicy. There's a few grammar issues but don't let that stop you from picking this book up and devouring this.
