Although I had many interests when I was younger, a friend suggested that I should pursue a modeling career. So I sent a few shots to an agency and was taken on. I attended loads of castings, had my fair share of negative responses then one day, in a studio next to where I was working, a model failed to turn up for a shoot. The photographer asked around if anyone would be interested in doing a topless shoot… and the rest, as they say, is history!
My topless modeling career took off in 1996 when I appeared in The Sun as part of the ‘Page 3′ pictorial. The legendary section of the tabloid features a different girl each day posing topless. I was the first topless model to grace the Page 3 for a whole week – fully dressed on a Monday, then each day revealing more and more untill Friday – full topless. The exposure boosted my career and I soon became one of the UKs most famous models, under the pseudonym ‘Jordan.’
From there on I graced many magazine front covers , not just in the UK but also across Europe. My popularity soon reached even further afield and I posed for Playboy, landing on the front cover of the September 2002 issue.
I have been through many well-publicised relationships. And my illnesses, including the removal of a tumor from one of my fingers and complications with my pregnancies and family, have been very public.

I suppose I picked this one at the library out of inquisitiveness (no way would I pay for it!) to see what Kate Price's ghost writer (meow!) would write in her name. What followed was a generic story about an up and coming model's future being possibly derailed by her association with a bad boy from a popular boy-band! Nothing else much to say, than it was written well enough for me to finish :) 3 out of 12.

This is a great book. Very exciting and gripping and interesting. It is very like actual real life as well. This is a synopsis of Chapter 1. You will have to read it for yourself to find out what happens next.
Chapter 1.
Angel is a fugly frump, so her BFF Gemma comes round and does her make up so she is all beautiful instead of having a slapped-arse face. Then Gemma lends her a Wonderbra so her tits look good, and some strappy shoes so her arse looks nice too. Gemma is very skilled, her middle-name should be "good at clothes and make up and that," so Angel instantly looks like a model and has nice knockers, and a fit arse. So that means it's time to go clubbing.
At the Creation nightclub, Gemma has been trying to get off with Tony for ages, so she gets off with Tony. But Angel fancies Cal, who is really drop-dead gorgeous and is a pro footballer with a car and everything. But Cal is going out with Mel, who is a cow.
Angel and Cal have a dance to Pussycat Dolls, and accidentally get off with each other. But then Cal thinks he's been seen by someone who knows he's supposed to be with that cow Mel. After he runs away, Cal texts Angel and is all like: "sorry I didn't mean to get off with you because I am with that cow Mel lol." Angel is so vexed that she goes all riding about on a horse, but then Cal turns up in his car and says "why didn't you reply to my text?" Angel replies angrily: "dog's cocks."

I picked up this book in school as it was sitting in the library and I thought awk why not my friends are all talking about it I am sure it can't be that bad. Okay I was a sucker and got sucked into the basic writing style of Katie Price. The book is so simplistically written that it was easy to read, and to be honest I actually liked the story line, yes it was very boy meet girl but the whole drug part of it was actually a good twist. Angel herself is quite annoying and you can see that it is Jordon's life story really if you think about it.

I really enjoyed this book, I was quite surprised, seeing who the Author is, I didn't know if it would be any good, but it really was. I have now re-read it about 4 or 5 times.

I think the book was bad written, lefting out important details as to what happened with Mickey after he disapears, or what happens with Jackson, does he get arrested? Does she ever repays Juan for the help he gave her in Spain? I think half the book could be summarized in: she got addicted and almost ruined her life. Would have been nice for it to have focus more on the history behind the whole thing instead of the almost only need of the main character to be with someone. I read it in two days because it's easy and fast to read. The drug story I found very interesting and was the best of it all. I was lacking though, a bit more of deepness into the main character. It seemed the only thing that moved her out of the couch was the boys she was in love with, when at the beggining they mention their passion for art and that she wants to be an artist, which is fast forgotten once she starts her modelling career. I'd have liked to know more about her thoughts and fears besides the obvious love story going on. So, summarizing, I think it wasn't the best book I've read, neither the worst.

This book was good. That's all really. I set off liking the main character, Angel, but to the end I really couldn't help hating her. The plot was very common and dodgy. I felt this was a huge let down because of Katy Price's other novels, which were amazing. I felt this book was alright but altogether a huge let down. I wouldn't really recommend d this book to anyone but considering I already have the rest of the series, it might improve. I really hope that the series improve. I have this book a 3 because it lacked humour, addictive feelings and an enjoyable plot. Not one of my favourite reads so I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. It does have the potential to be quite relatable to some people though.

This was so trashy and I loved it 😂 I’ve always liked Katie price and I feel like a part of her story was intertwined with this book!It’s not good writing really but who cares, reading isn’t always about intellect sometimes it’s about fun :)

Sehr einfach und schnell zu lesen. Vom Ding her nicht abnormal spannend oder gut geschrieben aber die story war trotzdem irgendwie nice. Hatte das Buch innerhalb von zwei Tagen durch weil es wirklich so chillig war. Gab mir so Hörbuch mit 13 vibes obwohl es um ein Mädchen ging das in der modelwelt arbeitet und ein Drogenproblem hat

This book hasn't got a great plot. The main character, Angel, seriously annoyed me with the shit decisions she kept on making. At times she seemed to be a bit of a slut (no offense to her or anything). The writing didn't seem to be very developed.
And yet, I absolutely loved it. Angel was a really interesting character and we got to see her develop throughout the story -true, some of the developing she done was not good but I found her really intriguing. Truth be told, I didn't think much of glamour models before reading this story but now, I can see it from their point of view and in a way, I see why they are glamour models. Their job does not make them bad people. It's like in any job - some people have amazing personalities and others... don't. After reading the story, I looked up Katie Price and read about her. I don't know if this is true or not but I suspect a lot of 'Angel' is based on some of her real life experiences.
'Angel' is the perfect book when you're in the mood for a light-read. This is my guilty pleasure for sure. The only thing that got me through some school days was knowing that when I came home I could read more of this! I can't wait to read more of her books (I know their ghost written but still!)

This is the second time I've read this book and I'm moving it down a couple of stars because it just didn't grab me like it did the first time, a good book should get you every time. I think I was seeing more of Angels flaws in this time round. She is likable but she is very selfish. Considering most of this book is set in the run up to her bestfriend and her brothers wedding, Angel always finds a way to make it all about her. Her boyfriend Mickey is an absolute waster and I don't know why Angel didn't see though him straight away. The guy she is "in love" with, Cal, is not even that nice. I'm not sure why she likes him. Angel is also a big hypocrite, getting upset when Mickey cheats on her, yet she kisses Cal at any opportunity and has no problem when Cal is cheating on his girfriend with her!
You will love this book if you are a fan of celebrity gossip. This is where Jordan leaves her mark because it's a world she's very familiar with. I think alot of Angels story has been pulled straight from her own. This is a decent chick lit book but not one you will go back to again and again. Once is enough!

I was so surprised at the way Katie can write. To be honest its not the BEST book i have read. But however it is a good/easy read.
If you love the idea of a budding model wanting to find the perfect guy, this book would be perfect for you. Yes i know what you're thinking - this book is the typical thing that Jordan would write about - however the book does get more endearing as you read along.
I have got 3 of Katie's books and all have been an OK read. However in saying this i do sort of contradict myself as i did find the last book that i bought of hers a little tedious to begin, i think i found this because i had a little "fade" of reading her books. It was more about me finding out if she is the Dummy she puts herself out to be!
Out of a 10 i would rate this book at least a 8/9. It was more due to the fact it was a nice relaxing read yet still intriguing to find out who Angel ending up dating.

Katie price is an amazing author, i was a little hesitant when i came across this book in a book store a few years ago and i loved it. Upto date i have read several of her autobiographys and all of her fiction books. I love how she entwines the characters into all of her books, she integrates them so well that you just have to read all of them to gain more insight into the characters you discovered in previous books. I found several errors in the print but overall an amazing light read and i would definately reccomend this book to anyone who loves chick lit and yhe glamourous world of fashion, modeling, acting, clubbing and a more beautiful view on the life of a-listers. Two thumbs up and five stars!!! X

If you know Katie Price, then I think it's pretty obvious what her books are going to be like. I have to admit, chick-lit is a slight guilty pleasure of mine - I read some fairly heavy books, so sometimes I want to read a bit of trash. I think with Katie's books you have to bear that in mind and know what to expect!
With regards to the book - OK, it's not Shakespeare. But nobody's expecting it to be! Katie introduces us to the world of celebrity, the glam and the not so glam. The characters are easily forgettable, the plot a little cliched, and the language is basic. That was all fine by me. :) perfect for relaxing with in a bubble bath with a glass of wine when you've have a stressful day!

This is totally wasn’t I had expected. I thought this book was similar to Fifty Shades, erotic and all that crap, but this wasn’t! Okay so maybe it was for a bit, but the erotic part was quite minimal. It was one of the most unusual love stories I have ever encountered. And I didn’t even know why I bought this book in the first place.
Minus the good looks and obvious sex appeal, Angel and I actually have a lot in common. She’s lost, I’m lost; she’struggling, I’m struggling. We’re both just lost souls looking for that one person to change our lives and convincing ourselves that we've already found him but can never be ours. I feel really happy for Angel (fictional as she is) and I know that she and Cal will be the perfect couple.

I was a bit unsure as to what this book would be like, seeing as it is written by a glamor model.
As it turned out I did actually enjoy the book and it wasn't badly written. I have read better and I have read worse books.
I got the feeling that parts of it were actually linked to Katie's life as a model and this is where she got her ideas for the story, not that doing that is a bad thing. The story let you get a good feel of what the characters were like and it gave good descriptive writing of scenes.
I have since purchased most of the rest of Katie Price's books, I hope that they are worth it.
If you enjoy chick-lit then this is worth a read, even if its only your "summer beach book".

JAA där har ni mina tankar som jag förkortat ner! OCH JAAA det kommer bli en sjuhelvetes krånglig recension att skriva. Vet som sagt inte vad jag tycker.. måste klura på det. Resten av serien finns bara på engelska (ständigt detta problem) så kommer nog inte fortsätta på serien. Känner mig förövrigt inte så manad till att läsa klart serien.

De två som jag shippade blev "ihop" på slutet av boken, och han frågade om hon ville gifta sig. SÅ det kan nog räcka som ett slut för mig, eventuellt.

Well, I have to say this book in my local library and thought I would give it a go. I have to admit I am not really a Katie Price fan but after reading a number of good reviews I thought it would be worth a look. I couldn't believe how good this book was, althought it is not a masterpiece, the book was easy to reach and kept you hooked up until the end. Well worth a read and great for the beach :)

As this book was written by Jordan I didn't expect it to be a great work of fiction. I felt that it seemed to be based on her life experiences as a model- perhaps she has gone through some of what Angel has? This book was actually better than I thought it was going to be so I was a little surprised to be honest. I didn't like Mickey & thought that Angel should have got rid of him sooner! It was an easy read that I think would make a good holiday read.

I have to admit. Katie does have a lot of hate. I for one don't like her but I was on holiday 2 years ago and this was the only book on the shelf at the villa so I decided to keep my views about her to one side and read the book. I was presently surprised. As fake as she is, she can write quite well.
It's obvious that parts are based on her life but despite that it was good. Not the best book in the world, that goes without saying, but it was an easy read.

Aww! Ten koniec bol tak sladký. Som z toho úplne dojatá!
Táto kniha naozaj nebola až tak zlá ako som očakávala. Samozrejme nemôžem okomentovať spisovateľkyne písanie čo je škoda kedže túto knihu napísala samotná modelka a preto som tomuto vôbec nedávala šance. Nakoniec z toho vyšiel veľmi pekný príbeh s happy endom. A hoc som po celý čas mala pocit že to neskončí tak ako by som si priala, sen sa stal skutočnosťou :D

This was recommended to me by a friend at school, I don't usually like this sort of book but told her I would read it.
The characters were all incredibly shallow and self involved, which are traits I don't particularly rate in people and designer brands were mentioned time and time again and I am a person that does not care at all what logo you have on your bag or shoes.
However, it was very easy to read and held my attention so that's why it got two stars.

Cely pribeh mi prisiel ako na horskej drahe. Niektore casti boli podarene, ine menej. Knizka je celkovo asi taky priemer, ktory neurazi, ale ani nenadchne, ale kedze je to trilogia, lepsie hodnotenie si necham mozno na zvysne casti. Co ale musim knihe vytknut je, ze celkom dolezite momenty, o ktorych by som sa rada docitala viac, nam autorka neprezdradila, len to rychlo opisala v par flasbackoch. Mozno sa viac dozviem v dalsom diely. ;o)

This book is definitely a good one to take on holiday!!! I took it away with me for a week and i literally could NOT put this book down. This has got to be one of the best books I've read despite me doubting the quality of this book in the first place due to the author being Katie Price. The story is so gripping and you never want it to end!! So well done Katie!! It's a real good book for the girlies and I would 100% defo recommend.

I found that I really enjoyed this book and it kept me gripped throughout. I did find it a little irratating how much like Katie price's real life it was as I felt it made the book predictable. But it was saved by adding in a few things that hadn't happened to her, and on the plus side I guess it made the story more believable as she had the inside knowledge. All in all it is one I would read again and I will definitely read the others following angel.

I think this book was a very girly type of book. When i started reading it i thought that the storyline was relating to Katie Price herself because she was a glamour model, however as i got further into the book i started to think it wasnt. I read it while i was on holiday and found it a very enjoyable read as it wasnt to challenging and helped me enjoy the sunshine :)
