After agreeing to dog sit her daughter’s two cockapoos for a couple of weeks, Nesta decides to make full use of staying in a Flintshire market town by running her own stall. What she hadn’t banked on was another murder to solve. With the added help of her teenage assistant Darren, Nesta is forced to balance her little side business with a whole new list of suspects to work through.
If you like knitting, baking and a mystery that will make your head spin, then you’ve come to the right place in this third instalment of the Nesta Griffiths Mysteries. Welcome to Mold, where not everything is as it seems…
Decided to read this series as I am a local to both talacre and mold. It’s amazing having booked based on the local area and it really helps to know the area when visioning the story.
The third book of this series.. I am really torn about this series, I usually read books like this but I read them from a “qualified” detectives point of view, having them from an amateur sleuth I suppose you could call her is something very different to me.
Unlike the previous two books I feel like this one was better written and a bit more interesting. There are twists and unexpected turns in the story but again unlike the other two the suspect is right under your nose the whole time.
I do love the relationship between Nesta and Darren I think it does show the differences between the generations and how they do things.
