this book was a little hard to get through, but gave me some really valuable insight nonetheless. it was more factual over emotions which i don't necessarily prefer for a devotion book, but the true stories about the authors personal life and his friends made the book feel warm and comforting. i wouldn't recommend this as an easy/ introduction-ish devotional, but it would be really good if you are contemplating the role of giving in your faith.
