I'm Not a Timid Tomcat!
Timmy Tomcat has a problem with a bully. He doesn't want this to be happening but he doesn't know what to do about it. When Timmy finally shares what has been going on, Miss Tilly and he put their heads together and come up with a plan to empower Timmy which in turn, boosts his confidence. In the process, Timmy learns a little song to help him make the right decision that he can use whenever he is feeling peer pressure.
Depending on the reader's reading level, the included discussion questions can be self-reflective or conversation starters with children for parents and other caring adults. A section is devoted to helping kids understand the difference between tattling and reporting with an activity to practice their learning. Various forms of bullying are presented so that children can recognize it when it is happening.
