I absolutely loved this anthology. These stories carry strength, heart, and the kind of faith content that lingers long after the last page. Every chapter reflected the truth of Scripture lived out in the ordinary and the unexpected, showing how trust in Christ shapes even the hardest places.
Some lines marked my heart deeply. “You need to surrender to God and drop that load of grief and bitterness you’re carrying, or it’s going to destroy you and hurt all the people who love you.” That truth is piercing and unforgettable. Another moment spoke of courage in the simplest terms: “She stepped out in faith, trusting God …” Those words echoed like a quiet anthem of obedience.
The stories also carried gratitude and hope. “…with her heart overflowing, she lifted a prayer of thanks to God for His faithfulness.” That prayer felt like my own as I read. And then the invitation that threads through all of life: “Allow God to redeem you.” That single line carries the weight of the Gospel.
What I found here was substance and depth … beautiful fiction that honors Christ and brings encouragement. These novellas demonstrate that every true love story begins with Him and every second chance flows from His hand.
Christmas Mail-Order Brides is a gift worth treasuring, filled with faith, tenderness, and eternal hope.
I received a digital copy from Celebrate Lit Tour Publicity Group. I am not required to write a positive review nor paid to do so. This is my honest and unbiased review. My thoughts and opinions expressed in this book and audiobook review are my own. My review focuses on the writing, the story’s content, and the narration ensuring transparency and reliability.
This is such a great collection of Christmas Novella’s, all taking place at Christmas! The stories are all about mail-order brides. The author’s give us the reasons these women are willing to go out to the unknown, and also why the grooms are looking for wives. Things are not easy for these women, and we are there for the adventure, sometimes being shot at, not being wanted when they arrive, and being hurt by harsh words. We are offered some really sweet romance, a cute twist when we meet Mrs. Mayberry, the owner of the mail-order bride service, and again the twist that puts her in the spotlight. These are very quick reads, and I found the whole book could be read in a few hours, but a fun time to get lost in! I received this book through Celebrate Lit, and was not required to give a positive review.
A Trusting Heart by Carrie Turansky Loved this story! Annika comes to meet her husband to be but he seems to want nothing to do with her. His brother Daniel is way kinder. The father is the one who arranged the marriage but she doesn’t know that. Daniel was so sweet and I loved how much he cared about Annika. He also cared for his niece. Annika was very kind to the family even though she was confused to what was going on. I liked Annika and Daniel’s relationship. Great writing and great Christian content. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough Jolie is an orphan and is too old to stay in the orphanage now that she is 18. While traveling to her husband to be, the stagecoach is robbed and the man traveling with her is shot and wounded after protecting her. Clay is a stranger to her and a prodigal son. But he has come to the Lord and changed his ways. Clay and Jolie are trapped overnight in the cold. When it’s discovered, her husband to be doesn’t want her anymore. And Clay marries her instead. I really liked their relationship. I loved how Clay helped her with naivety about romance. And the part between Clay’s father and Clay was great as well. Great story! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Mrs Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis In the other two stories a matchmaker has been making the matches. Now it’s the matchmakers turn to find love. Very cute story with a couple in their fifties. Amelia and Lennox were so cute. I loved how protective Lennox was of Amelia. Good story! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
What a great collection to start off an early Christmasy feel. Sometimes being a mail order bride turns out differently than what you imagined but just the way God had planned which is even better. These stories leave you with that warm fuzzy feeling and maybe a tear or two. It’s nice to visit the 1800’s and get a peek into the circumstances that women found themselves in to become mail order brides. I enjoyed revisiting Amelia Mayberry and her Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character. An all around enjoyable read that keeps you engaged from the beautiful cover to the last page. I suggest getting this on your TBR Christmas pile asap. I received a complimentary copy from CelebrateLit/Wild Heart Books. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.
A Trusting Heart This is a new author to me, but her novella is very well written. Daniel and Annika are great together and their love comes so naturally and gently. Little Mariah is adorable and adds sweetness to the story. A quick refreshing read with a double happy ending.
The Prodigal Groom Life doesn’t always go as planned nor is everything as it seems. Jolie and Clay weren’t meant to be together but some robbers fixed that problem. Clay had given his life to God and been redeemed, but carried a heavy burden of guilt for his brother’s death, but the truth will set him free and restore his relationship with his father. A sweet happy ending.
Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match After years of matchmaking, Mrs. Mayberry comes to find her second chance at love later in life. Lennox and she have been friends for years and now find they are much more. A short, but sweet, love story.
Very good western adventure historical romances! The first one by Carrie Turansky is set in Laramie, Wyoming with a good natured young woman who came from Chicago. 4.5 stars
This seems to be a rerelease of a Romancing America series book, previously published by Barbour. Omitted one of the original novellas. These are all good Christian fiction authors, solid writing, clean romances with some peril.
In Wild Heart Books newest anthology, Christmas Mail-Order Brides, Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character strives to bring couples together in the 1880s. As Mrs. Mayberry prayerfully seeks to bring couples together, sometimes the matches are not what God intended, but the True Matches created are better than anticipated….
A Trusting Heart by Carrie Turansky
A Trusting Heart by Carrie Turansky starts off the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology and introduces Readers to Annika, a young woman from Chicago who travels to the Wyoming Territory after agreeing to marrying a man named Charles who has a young daughter named Mariah. Leaving behind her Twin Sister and Brother-In-Law in Illinois is the hardest thing Annika has ever had to, but she trusting the Lord to guide her steps. Arriving in the Wyoming Territory, things aren’t what they seem. Charles, or Chase, as he’s called, is shocked when he finds out that his father has been writing to find him a mail-order bride, pretending to be Chase—so much so that Chase runs away before Annika arrives. When Annika arrives she immerses herself into Chase’s daily life without Chase being there—taking care of Mariah and helping Chase’s Father and Brother, Daniel, around the Family Ranch. Annika does her best to fit in to make the Ranch become her home, forming a close bond with Daniel and Mariah in the process. When Chase returns, Annika chooses to Trust God regardless.
I’m a fan of Carrie Turansky and I thought that A Trusting Heart was a great way to start off the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology. I loved meeting all of the Characters in the story. I love the Message of Trusting God’s Guidance that was woven through the plot. I love the wide array of lessons that all of the Characters learned in the story and how it made them all better. I loved the Strength that Daniel and Annika showed in the story. I loved what Chase and his Father learned through their mutual mistakes and how they are attempting to make things better. I love how Annika brought her Swedish heritage and traditions to her potential new family. A Trusting Heart by Carrie Turansky is a sweet story that gives you a taste of the Christmas Season.
The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough
The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough tells the story of Jolie who secretly seeks the help of Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character as she ages out of the local orphanage and is being forced to work for an unsavory man. Before she is set to leave the orphanage Jolie becomes a mail-order bride and heads off out West to her future Husband. As Jolie travels West, she shares a Stagecoach with a man named Clay. Clay is returning home a changed man after becoming a Christian and hopes to make amends with his father. All of the sudden, the stagecoach is hijacked by robbers and Clay is shot. As the driver leaves to get help, Clay and Jolie are left alone, with Jolie taking care of Clay’s wounds. When Clay and Jolie finally arrive at their destination, Jolie’s husband-to-be wants nothing to do with Jolie. In order to protect Jolie, Clay marries her. As the newly married couple arrive at Clay’s Father’s Ranch, Clay doesn’t receive a Prodigal Son’s Return. As Jolie and Clay acclimate to married life, they each see one another as a gift from God to help one another and start to see that maybe getting married was part of God’s Plan after all.
I absolutely loved The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough! I thought the plot was very interesting. Parts of The Prodigal Groom reminded me of Kinsley’s Kiss by Joi Copeland. I love the theme of the Prodigal Son that was a thread throughout and how it was shown throughout the storyline. I love how compatible Jolie and Clay are and how seriously they took their vows and were committed to them despite the events surrounding their marriage. I love how equally protective they were of one another and how they took care of one another. I loved how Clay and Jolie’s relationship grew and the lessons they learned from each other. I love how Clay encouraged Jolie to be herself and to not be afraid to try new things. I love how Jolie consistently gave sage and Godly Wisdom to the men of the household. The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough is definitely a fun and spunky read in the middle of Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology!
Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis
Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis gives Amelia Mayberry, owner of Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character her own story in the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology. Amelia started Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character as a way to make ends meet after her husband passed away. For 15 years, Amelia has successfully matched over 100 couples. However, Amelia Mayberry has one last thing to settle before she can retire: Find Lennox Bailey a wife. Lennox Bailey is a friend of Amelia’s Husband and a few years prior he requested that Amelia find him a wife after his wife passed away. On paper the match looked to be successful, but when Lennox met his bride-to-be, things went horribly wrong and the agreement was cancelled, blemishing Amelia’s spotless matchmaking record. Secretly ever since, Amelia has been trying to find Lennox a wife. In a last ditch effort to find Lennox a wife before retirement, Amelia travels to California at Christmas time to help him find a wife. Lennox is excited to see Amelia after all of these years, but after her last matchmaking attempt he no longer wants to get married, despite being lonely. As their friendship gets rekindled, they discover that God has a better Plan than they even imagined.
I absolutely love Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis! I thought it was wonderful and lovely that the owner of Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character got her own story. I loved learning how Amelia came to be in the matchmaking business. I thought giving an owner of a mail-order bride service her own story added a unique twist that I don’t always see in the Mail-Order Bride Genre. I love the theme and lesson of pride that was woven into Amelia’s character regarding her matchmaking record (especially since we know from the previous two stories, the matchmaking didn’t go as planned). I loved the character of Lennox and the kind of stand-up man he was—especially when he didn’t hold the failed match against Amelia. I thought that Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis was a fantastic way to end the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology!
Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology (As A Whole)
I honestly loved the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology from beginning to end! It was nice reading stories from Carrie Turansky, Vickie McDonough, and Susan Page Davis again, especially with each story having a Christmas flair in them. I love how all of the stories flowed from the Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character agency and that each story was not your typical Mail-Order Brides story, giving an uniqueness to them. The stories in the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology reminded me of the Westward Home and Hearts Mail Order-Brides series, which I love! I loved that each of the characters soaked everything in prayer and Trusted God to guide their steps, especially during the Christmas Season. I highly recommend the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology by Carrie Turansky, Susan Page Davis, and Vickie McDonough!
Have you read the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology? What did you think of the book?
I would like to thank the Publisher and Celebrate Lit Blogging Tours for giving me a copy of the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology to review, for letting me be a part of the Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology Celebration Tour, and for providing the information needed for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
My review is on Amazon and my blog Leslie's Library Escape.
Christian Historical Romance is a favorite genre. I also LOVE Christmas themed Fiction books. Christmas Mail Order Brides, Anthology by Vickie McDonough, Carrie Turansky, Susan Page Davis is the latest book that I have read in this category.
I began reading it immediately and could not stop. There different stories by 3 different authors, and short novellas. I was able to finish the entire book in about 4 hours. Mail Order Brides was the similarity in all 3 novellas and I enjoy reading books that have "Mail Order Brides" as characters. The characters in each of the stories were all based out of Amelia Mayberry’s matchmaking agency.
A Trusting Heart by Carrie Turansky was so beautiful and the main character in this book was Annika Bergstrom, originally from Sweden. Annika will end up in Wyoming to met her possible future husband. I really LOVED that Annika bought Christmas Treasures from her Homeland Sweden on her journey. I have seen Swedish Christmas decorations and they are certainly amazing. Her matchmaking journey is not what she anticipated, but she never gives up hope that there will be a new chapter for her.
The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough also had a really great storyline. Clay Jackson, a rancher, is on his way home to see his father and resolve some issues between them. He meets Mail Order Bride, Jolie Addams, when they are both apart of a Stagecoach accident. Their story is filled with many things they did not see coming. I really enjoyed their story.
Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis was amazing and wonderful. Matchmaker, Amelia Mayberry is wanting to retire, but there is a very important match that she has to fix. The best friend of her deceased husband could have failed match, until Amelia steps in and discovers the match was right before her eyes all along.
The Christmas "Magic" in these stories in making LOVE Matches is so beautiful and amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone interested in Christian Historical Romance! GREAT BOOK!
This was a sweet book that contains three mail order bride stories. Amelia Mayberry takes matchmaking quite seriously. She thoroughly checks out each individual to make sure only good people make the cut. She is all about romance, she loved her husband dearly and would like for all that want to have a love life of their own.
In the first story we have Annika traveling a long way from her twin sister to meet her matched beau. What she walks into surprises her very much. What if the man matched for her is not exactly who she thought he was? What if someone else is her more perfect match? What can she do when she is matched to one brother, but falls in love with the other?
The second story deals with a prodigal son and his surprise marriage to save an intended bride's reputation. This was a fun one that has a somewhat action-packed flair to it. A mail order bride forced to marry another due to keeping her reputation intact was my kind of story.
And last but not least, the one who started it all, Amelia will finally meet her match. Not something she ever planned for. She was happy to be a matchmaker for life; she never even considered she might have a second chance at love herself. Especially when she goes herself to right a wrong due to a match that had less than desired consequences. What if the match only wants to be matched with her?
This was a sweet set of novellas to lose yourself into for a while.
I was provided a copy of this novel from the publisher. I was not required to post a positive review, and all views and opinions are my own.
This trio of Christmas romances were enchanting and kept me invested in seeing what happened to the characters!!! The stories in this anthology were quick enough to read that reading the whole anthology felt like a breeze.
Carrie Turansky wrote the first story in the anthology. I loved seeing how hard Annika worked to prove her worth, and I loved how her love interest recognizes her worth right from the beginning. I love how he fights for her to receive the honor and respect she deserves.
Vickie's story probably was my favorite of the three! I loved seeing how Jolie and her man learned to rely on each other. I also enjoyed seeing how Jolie convinced others to recognize that her husband had become a good man worthy of respect. The story was fast-paced and exciting, and I wish I could've stayed with the characters a little longer!
Susan's story about Amelia was a fascinating wrap-up to the set. Amelia's determination to keep her clients happy was beautiful. I loved seeing how she had strong convictions and held those she trusts to a high standard. Later-in-life romances aren't usually my favorite, but I still enjoyed this story!
Overall, this anthology was the PERFECT thing to get me in the mood for more Christmas stories!!!!!!!! If you enjoy easy-to-read Christian romances you will FALL in LOVE with and characters who will make you want to be better, READ THIS BOOK!
I received an advance copy of this book. A positive review was not required. My opinions are my own.
Christmas Mail Order Brides, Anthology by Vickie McDonough, Carrie Turansky, and Susan Page Davis is Christian Historical Romance collection. Three mail-order brides head west in three separate stories searching for their future.
Annika arrives in Wyoming to discover her intended groom is missing. She also finds his father actually sent her the letters in the hopes of providing a mother for his granddaughter. Meanwhile, Annika spends time with his brother. This story takes. You through twists and turns that will keep you reading.
Jolie’s journey to Nevada is derailed by disaster, but you will have to read the book to see how her story turns out.
Amelia travels to California to wrap up her final attempts at matchmaking. Will the holiday season be the ticket to spark love in unexpected ways? She feels called to find a match for someone who her first attempt failed miserably. With a now grown up daughter derailing her efforts, can she actually find a match? You will have to read this book for yourself to find out what happens.
So if you are looking for a Christian historical romance collection of Christian stories, check out Christmas Mail Order Brides, Anthology by Vickie McDonough, Carrie Turansky, and Susan Page Davis. All three stories can be read on our their own. But together they are sure to get you in the holiday spirit.
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.
I really enjoyed this inspirational Christmas collection from three different authors. Each story revolved around Amelia Mayberry’s matchmaking agency, Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character. I’ve always appreciated a good mail-order bride story and liked the variety contained in each novella, all of which were aptly named.
A Trusting Heart by Carrie Turansky had Swedish immigrant Annika Bergstrom relying on the Lord’s guidance to see her through a very unsettling situation.
The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough finds rancher Clay Jackson headed home to make amends with his father when he is thrown together with mail-order bride Jolie Addams during a stagecoach accident. I loved the ensuing plot twist that occurred!
Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match was another fun twist on the mail-order bride trope, as Amelia Mayberry couldn’t rest (or retire) until she rectified the mistake of one of her failed matches, the longtime best friend of her deceased husband.
All three stories captured and held my interest and left me quite satisfied with their yuletide happily ever afters. Although this anthology is a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit, the book is so enjoyable and could be read at any time of the year.
I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher. A positive review was not required and these are my own and honest opinions.
Christmas Mail-Order Brides is a wonderful anthology. One of the things I like best about an anthology is trying out new authors. Two of the three authors were new to me in this one. All were considering mail-order brides where the unpredictable happened. They are tied together by having used the same dedicated matchmaker who has the most surprising of events too. A Trusting Heart by Carrie Turansky has a father trying to find his son a wife. What a mess he makes of it. However the Lord knows best which this story clearly illustrates.
The Prodigal Groom by Vickie McDonough has a son returning home and a mail ordered bride traveling to meet someone else on the same stagecoach. Trouble ensures but God worked it all out in the end.
Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match by Susan Page Davis is the icing on the cake since this involves the matchmaker. I loved all the stories but have a little extra love for this story.
They all take place at Christmas, but the stories could happen anytime during the winter months. Christmas just serves to make them make of a celebration. I highly recommend Christmas Mail-Order Brides Anthology.
I love anthologies. Add a Christmastime setting and I’m completely sold!
Christmas Mail Order Brides is a charming Christmas anthology, with each story written by a different author, brining their unique flavor iand ambiance. I love how the plans of these brides go awry, but it all turns out of the best.
A Trusting Heart (by Carrie Turansky) The tagline, “sometimes the wrong match leads to the right man,” perfectly fits this story. I felt a strong connection with Annika and Daniel, and Daniel’s heart made me swoon.
The Prodigal groom (by Vickie McDonough) I adore Clay’s story and his resolution. Jolie’s growth and transformation are truly heartwarming.
Mrs. Mayberry Meets Her Match (by Susan Page Davis) This story has an interesting twist, as the matchmaker herself gets matched. Amelia and Lennox are easy to love in this friends-to-more novella.
Genre: Christian Historical Fiction Author: Vickie McDonough, Carrie Turansky, Susan Page Davis Page Count: 252
#CoverLoverBookReview received a review copy of this book. Opinions are 100% my own.
When the wrong man is the right man for each mail-order bride! I loved these stories! The mail-order bride trope has always been one of my all-time favorites but this time the stories had a twist. When the bride shows up, things don't go according to plan. The bride ends up marrying a different man and he's the right man for that bride, but it takes a hot minute to get there! *What happens when a Swedish immigrant falls for the brother of the man she's supposed to marry? I loved this story so much! She was willing to honor her commitment, but fate had a way of working this out and love won! *A stagecoach robbery turns out to be a blessing in disguise in healing a prodigal son's heart with his father and finding a wife all at the same time! It also solves some mysteries on his father's ranch! *What happens when the matchmaker tries to make things right and ends up falling in love unexpectedly? A wonderful collection of holiday stories!
This is a treasure of stories by authors who give us strong characters who face situations that test their faith and trust. I love the setting of these stories that transport readers back in time where mail order brides were very popular. Can you imagine traveling away from your family to meet a complete stranger who you have agreed to marry?
Settle in and experience Christmas traditions, special moments and beautiful storytelling at its best. Each story shares faith, struggles and how God is always there for you. I appreciate how Christmas is shared in a way where family is important and Jesus is at the center of each story. Redemption and restoration impact these stories and give readers a look at grace.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
I love Christmas stories, and I love mail-order bride stories, and this set of novellas didn’t let me down.
Each one follows a mail-order bride who goes through Mrs. Mayberry’s organization. (By the way, Mrs. Mayberry is pretty incredible herself.) Each one finds her match, or maybe doesn’t?
I enjoyed each story. Well developed characters kept my interest, along with each story line. The twists and turns along the way show that the path to true love isn’t always smooth. Nor does it always go as expected.
Though set at Christmas, this would be an enjoyable read any time of the year. If you enjoy Christian historical stories you’ll enjoy these.
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review. All thoughts are my own.
Three lovely stories, all unique except for the Matchmaker. Each have their own reasons for or to become mail order brides, each has special circumstances. Wonderful characters, perfectly written. Fun to read, a wonderful way to spend your time before or over the holidays. Loved this book!
I received this book free from the authors, publisher and CelebrateLit book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I enjoyed this collection of mail order bride stories. I liked how they were all linked to the same matchmaker and that she wanted everyone to be happy. I liked how in each story the bride ended up with the right person for them even if it wasn’t who they were originally matched with. I loved how each story could be read alone and you didn’t need to read the previous story to know what was going on. I loved the unique voices of each of the three authors. I also loved how each of the romances were sweet and uplifting.
I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors. A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.
This is a fun collection of mail order bride stories, all connected by Mrs Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character. None of the brides’ futures quite work out the way they thought they would, but all end up with happily-ever-afters. I enjoyed reading the stories – good humor in the telllings, characters I wanted to know more about, and good truths about trusting God.
"I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."
Sometimes a mix-up can be a good thing. Each of the brides in Christmas Mail-Order Brides, are faced with situations different than what they originally counted on. Add in mail-order brides, and Christmas stories and I was hooked from the beginning. It's such a fun group of novellas that will tug at your heart strings. Carrie Turansky, Vickie McDonough, and Susan Page Davis created a sweet collection you won't want to miss.
~ While this book was provided for free, I was under no obligation to provide a favorable review. (2025)
Not many more days to Christmas! But reading this collection brought me closer to that wonderful season.
I was excited to read this when I saw the cover and who the contributing authors were. I wasn't disappointed. I loved all three stories. How could you not?
I think I enjoyed Amelia's story the best. She was busy finding matches for all her customers. She was ready to retire, but she had one disappointing match that failed. She had to correct this mistake. And this led her right into the arms of a dear friend.
Christmas Mail-Order Brides is a Christmas trilogy. The Old West was a challenging and adventurous time in our country’s history. The men and women of this time period were pioneers but they were also just as human as we are. They wanted love and a family. Sometimes mail-order brides were the only way to accomplish that goal. And sometimes love comes from unexpected places! Looking for a sweet read? Then, you’ve picked up the right book. Christmas time, children, love and the old west; what more could you ask for?
I received this book from Celebrate-Lit for my honest review
In each of these three novellas, a young woman finds a way out of a difficult situation and into a hopeful future. The characters are unique to each story. They are searching, hopeful, determined, looking for a dependable future with a Christian man who will be loyal, faithful, and hopefully loving. I love this collection, and I believe you will too. It's full of faith, hope, and love, perfect for the Christmas season or any other time.
These three historical romances by different authors all have something in common—someone in each story either wants a mail-order bride or wants to be one. They have employed the services of Mrs. Mayberry’s Matrimonial Society for Christians of Moral Character in their search.
But sometimes the heart has its own ideas…
All of these historical romances are feel-good stories set in the West at Christmas.
I enjoyed this collection of light-hearted, easy-to-read romances. Recommend.
I enjoy reading anthology books like this as it gives you multiple stories in one. You can try out new to you authors. You also can have a story that is shorter to read when you don't have much time. I found this collection of stories to be nice and fun to read. There were nice biblical faith threads in the stories.
Absolutely good reading especially during the season. Fun and enjoyable. These authors are always good. Thankful for the joy of reading a delightful book.
