Ten years after the war, the wizarding world thinks Hermione Granger is dead. In fact, she is a serial killer exacting her vengeance against the people who killed her two best friends.
When she crosses paths with a second serial killer targeting similar, high profile victims, they form an unlikely alliance.
Their killing styles: Unique. Their attraction: Undeniable. Their ability to work together: Questionable.
This book was so much more than I expected it to be! For me it was Dramione meets Butcher and Blackbird, which are 2 of my favorite things! Two serial killers working together for the better good. I cannot think of a better story line. I loved seeing Hermione in this light! She was so fierce. Too many times in the fanfiction stories we see her as just a bookish/science girl who never fought. Well. THIS WAS NOT THAT! She was fierce! They feared her! She was amazing! And she got her revenge!
I LOVED IT. And Draco? He is always shown to be a fighter. So that wasn't a big surprise here. But his softness towards her in her trauma? And his understanding of her? That was so different and it was one of the greatest ways I have seen him shown in a book. And the chemistry between them in this one? Was so different than what I have seen in the fanfictions I have read and I was sooo here for it!
