Book was ok, really took me awhile to get through. To many chapters with Danielle wondering if she should tell him about Leo. It got really boring for me. So I skimmed but ending was ok also.
3.5 stars. This book has the potential to be good but it is as though she has forgotten the book whilst writing it.
Spoilers!!!!!!
Why were background checks mentioned twice and I would imagine one was done at the start of employment but they still didn't know she had a child. Why did they talk about keeping an eye on the agency and knew she was looking for work but then forgot all about said agency How was she taken when she had a full security detail on her already? Why was the picture given with coordinates but they still needed an app from a friend to find her Why did the enemy know more about her than Radamir How were they able to get inside the compound with all the guards able to see them?
That being said I did like the book overall and the ending was good with the epilogue as well.
I had seen this advertised several times on FB and couldn't resist! However if truth be told, it fell flat. She was a cleaner and cleaned this big house for 6-8 hours a day who only had the main man lived in, countless staff but not sure for what, guest bedrooms near his sacred office, often restocking bathrooms that were never used - where did the stuff go to need restocked? A 3 year old who spoke sentences better than older folk! And a lot of repetitiveness and things not needed. I think with a few good alpha/beta readers and a good editor then the book could really take off Definitely has potential
This was a really good, nice with a little bit of spice (fans face) and chemistry. It had all the emotions pouring out of you and gets you invested in this story. The characters were very well described and I loved them all even the foes because the author made them that good but bad so a good/bad foe lol. It has mysteries, surprises, danger, you name it it has it. Very good read!!
This was a good read. Something different from my normal reading. I totally enjoyed the story of how it unfolded, the characters, and so much more. New to me author but definitely will give another book a try. I removed 1 star due to some errors in spelling and words where they weren't supposed to be.
This is a well written story which has found family, friendships, emotions, intrigue, secrets, danger, suspense, challenges, undeniable chemistry, and love which leads to an entertaining and heartfelt page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Mafia Pregnancy by Melanie Rain. This is a new author to me. I enjoyed the story & characters., I think it would have made the story better if the accidental pregnancy situations were not so long. Maybe add to the close & ,hurried feeling I got at the change of leadership.
Great story! This author really knows how to build up a storyline. These characters had a one night stand 4 years prior and find each other years later. Join their drama, action pack , heated chemistry story and find out if they get their HEA when the smoke settles. Enjoy!
Danielle and Radmir draws you into this dramatic story. They have an intimate encounter that leaves a parting gift, but she doesn't know who he really is and finds herself raising her son alone. They reconnect when she takes a job as a maid in his home and their path truly begins. This story is filled with turbulent twists and turns that had me connecting with the characters.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the first book I've read by this author. I really enjoyed it. Well written, great storyline and interesting characters. I'm looking forward to reading more work by this author.💖💖💖
I become super bored with the mafia story that reverts to something else. Just me, but I quickly lose interest, skip large portions and walk away. I can't recommend.
A funny storyline a one night stand pregnancy but with a twist. I did find the oh we got shot at let's just go off on are own a little stupid (who does that) but a interesting read I liked the characters
The story it self is good but it just didn’t pull me in and captivate me. If you enjoy surprise pregnancies, second chance romance, and mafia romance with some suspense this maybe the book for you.
The writing was good I should have read more info about the book as it was actually only a few pages. Hopefully the next installment will be an actual book.
Interesting take on the Mafia trope. The book was okay, I just found myself so annoyed with Danielle. The story had potential, but the writing style didn't work for me.
I found this to be an easy read and enjoyable. A little too sweet for a bratva book for my liking. The characters are likable and not too many to get lost in.
had a good premise and start but didn't retain it. too slow n a bit boring. steam level though was good. chemistry between the leads was hot as well. but there wasn't much action.
This book was different for me compared to other mafia books I’ve read. I was hooked from the blurb. Danielle has a secret, and she finds out her boss is her one-night stand from four years ago. Once they meet, they act like they don’t know each other.
In this dual POV book, Radmir and Danielle are reliving the passionate night. He wants her, and she wants him; it’s just a game of who caves in first. But when they finally acknowledge it, they have another night together, and this time they can’t pretend. It’s spicy, sweet, and you’re kept on your toes on whether she will tell Radmir about his son or if he will find out. She falls pregnant again, and this time she has to keep two secrets.
I really enjoyed this book and loved that they finally get their happy ending, the interaction between Radmir and Leo is so sweet, slowly building a friendship to when he finds out that Radmir is his father. I cried because Leo is the sweetest, cutest lil boy <3.
