Not Another Love Story - Part 3

Rate this book
The problem with lies is that someone is always bound to crack them and expose the truth…

Having someone claim that Clay hired Leigh to act like his girlfriend is the last thing he wanted to happen at the engagement party for her ex, but there's no point in wishing they could rewind it all. They started on this path and they had to go forward however they could. This close to the big gala, where he's bound to be announced as head of surgery, he's unsure if he wants to be as married to his career as he once was. Leigh could be his future, couldn't she? Even though she's looking for somewhere else to live and a new job to start?

The problem with falling in love with someone is that something will come and crumble it apart and challenge it all. Having Clay's support when someone gossips about their fake relationship helps her keep her chin up. But when she overhears his ex-fling planning a solid future with Clay, as if she doesn't matter at all, it's a moment of reckoning she can't escape. No matter how they'd started this all, as a girlfriend-for-hire want ad, friendship was inevitable.

Love is impossible to stop, but can they overcome the lies they founded it with and grow as a "real" couple for something true?

So I just completed the series which was a fun and easy read. My only wish was that this could have been done in just one book vs the 3 parts. Overall an entertaining love story.
