DNF @ 7%.

This book needs a serious edit. There are many flaws with the writing and issues with the story as a whole.

Things I noticed:

1% whose eyes are beady and whose are blue? It is not clear.
4% - victims in some form of intimacy but no formal sexual intimacy- what?
5% - why would he be spilling his guts about theories to someone he just met? This isn’t logical.
- …it is possible a her… (possibly?) - also that’s rather sexist and likely to offend readers if you don’t couch it with ample reasoning.
6% - How does a smile wrap around a face? I have an image like the Cheshire Cat and it’s absurd!
- cliche observation of one’s character’s physical attributes in a window. Try something new!
- …local laser ridden, flashing, and glossy, night club. (I think a better term could be selected than ‘ridden’ it implies the club is overwhelmed with lasers, which is kind of comical)
7% - …long blond(e) hair. Feminine version of blonde has the e.
- repetition of the word ‘long’ multiple times in quick succession. This manuscript needs a serious edit!
- Note the POV change from killer to blonde woman mid paragraph. Fix this!

I am on page 18, and I can't get into the story it spends way too much time telling you instead of showing you what's going on.

I need to be able to connect on some level and while yes I know I haven't given it time to settle in I feel like I'm on the outside of the story and not in that I'm peering into the window watching type of way.

For now I have to dnf it...maybe I'll come back.
