OK I’ll get this out-of-the-way right now this book gets an extra point cause it has witches in it I know everybody who knows me as rolling their eyes at me but As awaken it can’t be helped the artwork is nice and it’s interesting to see how the story has progressed in the characters have more unique stories to them I like the fact that some of the side characters got more chance to shine and we got introduced to some of the other characters Family members it should be interesting to read the next volume.

Read while on plane so this review is for the first 3 volumes. The story is intricate and intriguing. I was drawn in by the sadness and hope of the start of the story but staying for the mystery and seeing how these Widows decide to finally move on.

Our main character is a bit of an outcast in the witch society she lives in and feels ignored and because she has trouble with magic, like an outsider. She decides to go on an adventure with her friend/nanny and finds love. The first time a person loved her and took time to make her feel included. He tragically passes away and sparks the beginning of this story. These three woman have a lovely friendship and I like how they are becoming part of the town as well.

The art is enjoyable, the humor sweet, the love deep, and the characters all enjoyable.

This entry in the series sees the larger plot moving forward, even though things remain cozy overall, and leaves me eager for the next volume.

The backstories keep unfolding and the mysteries deepen in this volume! I’ll definitely be continuing this series and I’m really enjoying my time with these characters!
