I found Mahavatar Babaji: The Immortal Master of Kriya Yoga by Pranav Pandya to be disappointingly basic and not particularly useful for either beginners or advanced spiritual seekers. The book feels more like a cash grab, especially given its steep price. The images appear AI-generated, and the content itself seems to be authored by AI as well. Additionally, there are noticeable errors, such as inconsistencies in the title—on the cover, it’s The Immortal Master of Kriya Yoga, while inside, it’s The Immortal Master Behind Kriya Yoga. Furthermore, there’s a significant historical inaccuracy regarding the meeting of Mahavatar Babaji and Lahiri Mahasaya, which is incorrectly placed near Badrinath instead of Kukuchina near Ranikhet.

Moreover, I’m puzzled by the author’s recommendation of Swami Satyananda Saraswati’s book on Kriya Yoga. It seems out of place and contradicts the original lineage passed down from Mahavatar Babaji to Lahiri Mahasaya. This inclusion of a differing perspective on Kriya Yoga doesn’t make sense and undermines the book’s authenticity.

In conclusion, I don’t believe this book offers any real value for those interested in Kriya Yoga or the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda or Mahavatar Babaji. I wouldn’t recommend it.
