Family recipes and reminiscences mix into a nice cookbook that may be more at home on the coffee table than in the kitchen. I bought it, I copied recipes I wanted to try into a file, I put it on the display, and now it's gone. It was available for sale for less than two hours.

Whether you try any of his recipes or not you're likely to enjoy his view of the seamy side--not ugly, just seamy, nitty-gritty, difficult, often unfair--"country" music industry.
