What Witches Don't Want Christians to Know

Rate this book
Were covert experiments, involving mind control and the occult, conducted in the areas surrounding military bases throughout the United States?

The pages of this book recount some shocking events in a small town in Missouri. Mary Lake had struggled with depression for years and couldn't find the joy that the Scriptures indicate is available to all Christians. In her quest to find answers, she was not only healed and delivered, but this process uncovered a startling revelation of dark practices in the small town where she was raised. God shined the light on some of Satan's greatest secrets. In this book, she shares how God protected her family from assassination attempts and face-to-face encounters with Satan's followers, who were desperately trying to keep their secrets hidden. She also shares the truths that her family learned during this process that were essential for their safety, as she endeavored to break down the prison doors for the people that she loved. These biblical truths will help any Christian family stay under the protective cover of Almighty God.

A very difficult book to write and in some places a bit difficult to read.

I have read many books on dissociative identity disorder (DID--formerly called multiple personality disorder) and Satanic ritual abuse (SRA). This book is a little different from most of them.

Before reading this book, it is important to understand that, during trauma, the parts of the personality that have been hurt are isolated by the brain so that they are accessed only when needed. That isolated part of the personality is not obvious most of the time. This part of the brain can be called a fragment or one separate personality of a multiple personality.

Demons can attack a spirit that is whole and not fragmented. This is what the Christian church is most familiar with. It is often obvious that that person has a demon.

But demons can also attack only the fragment of the personality and stay in that fragment. Those demons manifest only when that fragment or separate personality is in control. Those demons are not as obvious.

It is also important to realize that witchcraft is operating throughout the world. Most of the Christian church is oblivious to the operation of witchcraft, even within its church.

It is also important to realize that mind control has been developed and used by the military in some countries and also by people who are involved in SRA.

If you find these topics unbelievable or frightening, it is probably better for you not to read this book.

If you have some knowledge in these areas, then the book will benefit you in a few ways.

The other reviews give a good idea of the contents of the book.

Most Christians today are woefully ignorant of the activity of witches and how they are able to successfully place curses on them. Yes, it is true that "a curse does not land without cause" (Prov 26:2) But many Christians unknowingly open the door and allow curses to land on them and affect them because they disobey the laws that God gave to protect them. And they do not implement the protective measures that God gave them to prevent witchcraft from having an effect. (Deut 28)

But I think that you could go into most American homes today and find open doors to witchcraft because of the content of cartoons, video games, music and tv programs. And objects that God tells us not to own or wear, and tattoos and body piercings. And traditions which are actually pagan in origin. And seemingly innocent social and service clubs. This book is an education in how some curses are transferred, such as in gifts and food, which most people would innocently accept. Or by locks of hair or by pentagrams scratched on your driveway.

(If you do not believe witchcraft is real or that it is harmful, then the book might not be relevant to you. Also, Mary Lou Lake is talking about very high level witchcraft that is not as common. Most people do not deal with this level of witchcraft in their lives. She is not accusing people of witchcraft; she is recounting witches who openly threatened her. Many witches at this level operate under cover and do not want to be exposed.)

Some people would criticize the contents of this book because many of the experiences that Mary Lou relates seem incomplete. But when you consider the level of trauma to her and the resulting need of her soul (mind, will and emotions) to bury (or dissociate) these memories and associated pain, then you can understand why she might not have been able to bring them up completely. And why she could not put them in words. Some pains are simply beyond description. They cannot be put into words.

But if you read this book, even if you do not agree with it and you do not think it could happen to you, it is a good idea to respect her memories and her perspective. Mind control used to be done by trauma. Now there is so much electronic understanding of the brain that this trauma, which takes longer, is being replaced by electronic means. I think that if you read about some of the things DARPA is doing with frequency as a weapon of mind control, you might understand why these strange behaviors erupted in this small town near a military base. It would explain the lights, the strange reactions on election day, and even personal behaviors. I think you could find examples of frequency weapons used during the Iraqui war that caused instant surrender without a shot being fired.

And you will find that energy weapons are the weapons of the future, but being experimented with right now, perhaps in wars that have been created simply for the opportunity to test these weapons away from American citizens. This is, however, simply my opinion. I am simply saying that parts of the book regarding mind control that you might find unbelievable might seem more credible after doing some research on energy weapons.

Some readers might also think that this book is intense. Yes, it is. I find books written by Navy SEALS or the Mossad intense and exhausting. I could not do what they do in their operations. But I am not in their circumstances. Intense situations require intense solutions.

Mary Lou had intense experiences that most Christians will never experience. To overcome them, she had to dig deeper into her spirit and into the power of God than most people would ever do. We cannot criticize her because we have not walked in her shoes. We may never experience that level of spiritual warfare. As a result, it might be difficult for us to understand it.

But the perception of the reader does not make her experiences less real.

If you watch her testimony on Youtube, you might form a different opinion of her. In some ways, the book seems a little dark, as if she is constantly fighting battles and not emphasizing the way she walks in the love of God and the victories that she has.

But that is the fault of the way the book was written. She is not an author. I cannot find any reference to an editor.

She is much better at expressing herself verbally.

So perhaps you would benefit by watching her testimony first before you decide if you want to invest time in reading this book. There the love of God and the victories she obtains are more dominant than the battles.

I learned a lot from this book and much of what she describes I have found corroborated by many other powerful Christians.

But make sure that this book is for you before deciding to read it. Mary Lou even warns you at the beginning of the book about who should and who should not read the book, or at least, parts of the book.

Eye opening

This book educated me about mind control tactics, compartmentalization of multiple personalities vs. possession. Mary really is a brave, courageous soul with God holding her hand all the way. Great read!

There Is Help

As a practicing Catholic, as a member of the only Church ever founded by Jesus Christ, I know Sacred Scripture does not lie and fallen Angels do exist. Don't know their names. Don't want to. I know they are out only to destroy all God created. I also know how not to be subject to extraordinary temptations. I also know anyone who believes that they are being subject to Demonic interference ought to contact their diocesan Bishop for instructions on how to get evaluated by a psychiatrist/psychologist and then on scheduling an appointment with an ordained priest who can get the ball rolling if extraordinary measures are needed to alleviate the molestation by the unclean spirit. Anyone who has been tormented by demonic oppression/infestation/possession usually do not write tell-all books. Or seek attention at the level of press, radio, television. This author claims to be a Christian. That is between her and her God. Why do I feel she has used God to further her agenda which, quite frankly, is "hey look at how important and special I am".
Reminds me of Tammy Faye Baker. I'm curious. How does Mrs. Lake interpret the scripture from Corinthians about not letting there be any divisions in the Church? Martin Luther wrote the playbook for the Nazi atrocities. Just saying. This is who led the way for the Protestant Reformation and the real beginning of the end. Perhaps the author could benefit from the Truth of Church History.

I believe some of the conspiracy theories the author refers to are real, and I believe that she is sincerely giving an account of her experiences. However, the disjointed and disorganized condition of the book left me a bit boggled, and I believe that the situation could have been explained a bit better. Also, agree with a previous review that we don't need to be focusing on demons and such except to cast them out and then focus on what God is doing. That being said, I think ministries like what the author describes are important.

If You Can’t Say Anything Nice….

I am at a loss for words. I feel that this lady is sincere, or at least I pray she is, but this book is total chaos. I feel like this lady would accuse anyone and everyone of witchcraft if she got “the feeling”. She speaks of keeping God’s feasts, which is wonderful and biblical, and then speaks of “women pastors”, which the Word forbids. The Holy Spirit is telling me that something is very, very wrong here.

It is pagan to celebrate Christmas. The Boy Scouts and 4-H have occult roots. The Masons are unadulterated evil. You will be blessed by God if you celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday and if you stick to the dietary laws of Leviticus 13. What is that mental illness where you are paranoid and grandiose at the same time? plus a few other things. This book was NOT well edited. It made for interesting and hilarious reading in places, but it is not of any importance.

Compelling read

I read his book in one go and couldn't drop it. I came to find out about this book from the book by Nathan Reynolds about his deliverance. This book did not disappointed and I believe many Christians will benefit from the information. It is very well written, or formative and biblically sound.

Interesting personal memoir

A rambling discourse. Fascinating. Troubling; made me wonder if the author had psychiatric problems. Yet, military experiments and mind control efforts in the past have been documented. Her remarks can not be discounted.

Very helpful resource

As a long time listener to Mary and Dr. Lake's podcast, this book really helped fill in the gaps of my knowledge. It is a first-hand account of Mary's journey discovering what had happened to her during her childhood.

Stop the ignorance and read this book. You don’t want to be naïve about this subject.
You’ll find that the more personal accounts you read about these subjects they ALL are saying the same things.
Look up Nathan Reynolds for more.

An invaluable resource for Christians in these last days to devote themselves entirely to Jesus and make a real difference in the lives of oppressed people in the occult and to thwart the agency and agenda of the elite

Great knowledge of cults

I like how the book talks about the authors past and future of dealing with people in the occult and how so many people in towns and cities deal with people in the cult. Pretty much good vs evil!

Sincere but odd

I'm certain the author believes these things as fact, but the mind can cause us to imagine some fairly strange things. The authors perceptions appear to distort reality at times, making it sound like there's a demon behind every corner. Most folks have to keep one foot in reality, and I fear this author may struggle in this area. I believe her intentions are sincere. Not the best read.

Informative and eye opening.

This book will open your eyes to the truth of what is going on behind the scenes. The occult world is actively warring against a sleeping church. I learned allot about how to pray against these attacks and get myself prepared.
