I bought this book for my daughter who had a baby boy who, just this week, reached age 10 months. He is enjoying being read to and told stories. Not that he understands everything, or for that matter, much of ANYTHING, but he enjoys hearing his mother’s voice, turning the pages and seeing the illustrations and pictures. This book is full of hundreds of stories, some the tradition children’s stories like “Goldielocks and the Three Bears,” or the non-traditional bear story “Before Goldilocks.” Other stories include: The Troll’s Story, The Cat and the Mermaid, Lottie’s Letter, How the Animals Got Tails, and Crocodile Tears.

Each story is colorfully illustrated with dozens of unique and fun pictures that would delight any kid, as well as the storyteller. I am sure Yvonne will love reading these stories, as will Finn hearing them. This is a book that will entertain him for years and become a life-long keepsake.

A collection of short stories for nightly bedtime story. It's quite big and not that easy to hold with my small hands but the stories inside are good.
