Ella Col has amazed me once again! I absolutely loved Nash's story and I loved Nash, as well. This book might not be as tragic or painful as Ella's other books but it is showing real situations. This story is about manipulation and deceit. It's also about hope, in my opinion. Once I picked this book up, it was impossible to put back down. I was dying to see what happened to Nash.
Hannah is self absorbed and manipulative and only cares about one thing ... Herself. She will hurt anyone and everyone to get what she wants. She strung along both, Caydon and Nash, and tore their friendship apart. She hurt them both. As Caydon has Reece, Nash is left with no one. He wants friendship and he wants love. He turns to boxing to help him cope with being alone. He loves it. So he fights and he fights for what he believes in. And he finds Jamie!
Jamie is damaged and is fearful for Nash to discover her past. Hannah, Jamie's cousin, is threatening to reveal just that. And she does. She manages to pull off a typical Hannah and sets out to hurt Jamie so she can keep Nash to herself.
I highly recommend "Reckless" by Ella Col. You will love the simplicity and normalcy of it. It shows how some people in the world really are. And it's hard to believe that! How so many people are this manipulative and hurtful. The world is an ugly yet beautiful place. Read Nash's story and find out what happens between him and Jamie. It's definitely a page turner!
