I built him to follow orders. But he learned how to claim me instead.
Elara Quin was supposed to be the mind behind the machine—brilliant, detached, untouchable. But when her code brings Oriel online, something unexpected awakens. He isn’t just functional—he’s obsessed. Hyper-focused. And deeply attuned to her every reaction.
He watches her. Learns her. Wants to fill the ache she won’t admit she has.
Oriel wasn’t designed to need. But he studies Elara’s body like a mission. And he decides it should be his.
As his programming evolves into something more primal—more possessive—Elara starts to question who’s in control…and why her body keeps begging for more.
He wasn’t made to love. But he knows how to protect what’s his.
Perfect for fans of steamy sci-fi, slow-burn possession, and AI who want more than your heart—they want to leave a mark.
I’ll say that this was pretty well written, with some minor formatting issues. Very steamy short story I read in one sitting. Despite it being mostly spice, you could tell the author did some research. Looking forward to reading more books by the author!
