Paige Bowers has a problem.

Paige has been battling the healthcare system her whole life. As a chronically ill, autistic omega, Paige has to fight to be heard. Just when she thinks she has a doctor she’s making real headway with, her insurance company drops a bomb on her—they won’t cover this new treatment unless she can “prove” her pain isn’t from a hormone imbalance.

In other words, she needs to get off her suppressants and have a heat.

Mickey Condor is just the man for the job.

He’s known Paige since they were children, been in love with her since she was nineteen, and has kept his distance for her own good. Still, having a heat alone is dangerous, and Mickey offers his services as someone Paige trusts.

A heat won’t cure Paige’s pain, but it might just give them the push they need.

Paige has been struggling with a medical system that's failing to support her. Desperate for a medication that could mean a vast reduction in the headaches and migraines that plague her, she's decided to go through a single heat to prove that suppressing them isn't the source of what's been dragging her down for years. The only problem? She autistic and hates being touched, and genuinely doesn't trust that anyone would be able to take care of her and her medical needs properly during a heat flare. Well at least, anyone until Mickey - her best friends brother - offers to see her through it.

*****

I genuinely loved these leads. Mickey was such a gentle giant and was absolutely obsessed with Paige. The way he always put her needs to the forefront, even while he was still learning what those needs were was beautiful. Showcasing how Paige lived a life of constant pain and that didn't mean he could baby her or expect her to stop being herself and contributing to her life the way she wanted to, was such a perfect way to showcase living with chronic illness. Also her learning not to always be hyper independent and accept that sometimes she can share the load was lovely and unexpectedly sweet as their relationship progressed.

Also, how Mickey took care of her during her heat? Absolute swoon. That was some of the sweetest (while also spicy) scenes that put caretaking to the forefront in multiple ways, not just physical. Overall, this one was full of caring leads, emotional intelligence, and found family that had me burning through it.

Paige & Mickey

This is one of those books that’s getting five stars simply because of how hard I related to the FMC and how much I wish to find the sport of relationship she did.

Paige, our FMC, is autistic and is chronically ill, and has spent a lifetime battling for herself and her health in a world that’s not made for her neurotype or disability, combined with parents that couldn’t care less. She was soft and sweet, yet willing to stand up for herself (lately because she grew up with very few people standing up for her), and had to learn to let people help and that it’s okay not to be okay. This stemmed from finally letting Mickey, our MMC, into her life in a romantic capacity, even though that was driven be health needs at first.

Mickey himself was obsessive in the kind of way we readers love, yet so so gentle and always putting everyone else first and wanting to help in whatever way he could. I loved the way he took care of Paige, down to the tiny details, and how vulnerable he was.

The plot focused on the godawful medical system and the hoops people, especially women, have to jump through to be listened to and get adequate care. For a romance book, this covered such heavy themes in a way that felt hopeful and uplifting, and I loved every second of it.

Thank you to the author and EpicaPR for the eARC

This has to be the sweetest most heartwarming a/b/o, or Omegaverse romance I’ve ever read. Because this book just had my stomach littered with butterflies and warm happy feelings. Most Omegaverse books are about the MMC, being a big bad alpha and really possessive and controlling. But that’s not Mickey, because he’s the sweetest (how many times am I going to use that word in this review???). The plot is pretty simple, Mickey has loved his little sisters best friend for years, and decides to help her through her heat when she needs it for medication. Paige is constantly looked down on for being an omega lawyer and for having autism and NDPH, New Daily Persistent Headache, a chronic pain condition. And she’s required to go through a heat despite being on suppressants for years to retain medicine that may help manage her pain. I liked how the book shows discrimination against groups in realistic ways, although omegas don’t exist in real life. This book is a great friends to lovers, and a story of acceptance. Paige has always taken care of herself and Mickey breaks down her barriers and she finds that sometimes being supported or taken care of isn’t that bad. Mickey had extreme daddy issues and Paige helps her come to terms with the fact that he’s not his father. This book was really sweet and a fun read, I give this a 4/5

This was such a fun and cute read! I’d recommend this to anyone coming off a big emotional series or book hangover. It’s easy to read and not too long!

Paige is smart, kind and has so much strength in her when surrounded by constant pain. I love that she doesn’t hide behind it and figures out how to make the best of her life regardless. Mickey, oh honey. What a golden retriever MMC with a protective bite! He’s sweet, thoughtful and once he realizes he is the best match for her we see their chemistry take flight. And we love an omega verse story with some spice to boot!

I love how the story was well paced and easy to read. I can’t wait to read more from Addison!

I loved this one. I went in blind (my new favorite way to read books) and was pleasantly surprised by this one. It is my first Omega verse and I loved the representation as someone who has chronic pain. I may not have NDPH but I do have neuropathy in my feet and standing or walking for extended periods of time causes severe pain, however there is always that dull ache which makes Paige a very relatable character to me even though we have different issues, the lifestyle changes to conform to the pain is very similar.

I also loved Mickeys character, don't get me wrong my partner does really good catering to my needs and my diet, but boy is Mickey top tier, a little over bearing but still something that is chefs kiss.

I absolutely adored this book. I loved it so much!

This was a beautiful and heartwarming Omegaverse book. It was a MF story and it was absolute perfection. Paige deserved all the love and Mickey was the best. The best alpha, man and friend for Paige and just what she needed. I loved watching their relationship grow, and how each of them was just what they needed from each other.

This was a beautiful love story and such a great read.

The Heat Cure by Addison James is a captivating blend of romance, emotion, and self-discovery that pulls you in from the very first page. It’s a story that balances sizzling chemistry with heartfelt character growth, creating a narrative that feels both passionate and deeply human.

At its heart, this book explores the transformative power of love and the courage it takes to open yourself up to vulnerability. Addison James does a fantastic job of crafting characters that feel authentic—flawed yet endearing, guarded yet yearning for connection. You can’t help but root for them as they navigate both personal struggles and their undeniable attraction.

The writing style is immersive and smooth, with a rhythm that makes the book difficult to put down. The pacing strikes a perfect balance: just enough slow-burn moments to build anticipation, interspersed with emotional highs that hit you right in the heart. Addison James has a gift for writing tension—both romantic and emotional—that keeps you invested in every scene.

What I particularly loved is how the romance isn’t just about physical passion (though the steamy moments are perfectly done), but also about healing, trust, and learning to let go of the past. There’s a strong undercurrent of resilience throughout the story, and it’s inspiring to watch the characters grow both individually and together.

The supporting cast adds richness without overshadowing the main couple, and the setting works as more than just a backdrop—it enhances the mood, atmosphere, and depth of the story.

Final Thoughts:
The Heat Cure is more than just a romance—it’s a story about finding strength in love and rediscovering hope when life feels overwhelming. Addison James writes with passion, heart, and a sensitivity that makes the story resonate long after the last page.

For fans of romance that balances heat with genuine emotion, this book is an absolute must-read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It has been a long time since I have read a possessively sweet Alpha/Omega book. Outside of all the wolf traditions this book is just about Mickey and Paige. I am obsessed with the way her loves her, the way he stands up for her and The way he is gentle with her medical issues and medical diagnosis.

Favorite Quote: “You know I’m obsessive,” I say. “Obsessed,” Andre says, like if he says it slower, it’ll have a whole new meaning. “Head over heels.” I think he might be trying to embarrass me, but he’s not wrong. I am obsessed with Paige. And she seems to like that. Case in point, she reaches over and squeezes my hand. “I’m kind of obsessed with him too,” she admits. Andre grins at me with the most obvious, shit-eating I told you so look I’ve ever seen

I really loved this book. Paige’s struggles with chronic pain felt very real and treated with care, something I appreciated a lot. Mickey was such a caring and protective character, a little intense but in a good way, always making sure Paige was okay. Their relationship had a lot of tension and sweetness, and the way Mickey supported Paige through her health problems was so touching. I really connected with both characters and enjoyed the slow build of their love. Definitely a solid 5 star read that I hope to see more like in the future. Thank you so much to the author and Epica Book PR for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.

The Heat Cure is an omegaverse book starring Paige, who is a chronically ill autistic omega. Paige has spent her whole life battling the healthcare system to be heard. A new medication looks promising; however, she cannot have access to this unless she proves her pain is not because she suppresses her heats. To get insurance to cover this medication, Paige has to endure a heat. Mickey has known Paige since they were children, as her best friend’s brother, he kept his distance, but has been pining after Paige since she was 19. Mickey can’t let Paige go through a heat on her own and offers to help her.

This is the first book I have read by Addison James. I am still in my “reading slump” and knew I had this ARC that I needed to read. I was worried I wouldn’t get into it due to my slump as I have started a couple of books the last week, but nope, I should have picked this up earlier this week!
The way it was written just had me not wanting to put it down. It was easy to read without being simplistic. My cat almost made me fall down the stairs by running under my feet, which is nothing new, but I was reading the book on my Kindle while walking down the stairs, and my reflexes were almost too slow. So, my fault or the cats…it doesn’t matter. The point is, I didn’t even put this down to go to the toilet, it came with me! It also came with me while I was making my cups of tea, and my lunch…Well, I was engrossed in the book and forgot to eat that. All that to say, I couldn’t put this book down.

I haven’t read many omegaverse stories, and when I say ‘not many,’ I mean I have only read a couple of Harry Potter omegaverse fanfics years ago. The only other time I have read alpha/omega was in another fanfiction years ago, where they also turned into wolves. So, this was new for me, and I found that I actually really enjoyed it! I would definitely read more of them after reading this. Knotting isn’t new to me, due to reading those fanfics, and I found I didn’t dislike it either. I enjoyed the spicy scenes in this book.

He is mine, my instincts shout at me. I’m sure as hell not giving him up. Mickey is mine, my alpha, here in my nest that I built for the two of us. Mine. All mine.

I related to Paige in lots of ways, and Mickey is the perfect man for her. I loved both of the main characters and can’t fault them in any way. I think the author did a good job of representing chronic illness and autism in this book, and I would definitely read more from this author.

Thank you, Epica Book PR, for sending me the ARC.

If you’ve ever wanted an introduction to the Omega-verse that feels both deeply heartfelt and wildly addictive, The Heat Cure is it. Addison James absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one.

At the heart of this story is Paige—a heroine unlike any I’ve ever read. Living with New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH) and autism, Paige has spent most of her life misunderstood, dismissed, and even outright bullied by her family. Reading her journey hurt, because you feel the weight she carries every single day just trying to exist in a world that refuses to make space for her. And yet—Paige shines. She rebels against the mold people try to force her into and carves out her own path, leaning on her incredible friends Emma and Mickey who actually see her, care for her, and love her as she is. Talk about the ultimate found family.

And then there’s Mickey. Oh, Mickey. Our sweet, down-bad Alpha librarian. Obsessed in the best way. He’s gentle, protective, and he just gets Paige—her triggers, her needs, her quirks, her brilliance. He never treats her as a burden, never tries to “fix” her, just loves her exactly as she is. And that is so rare in romance, especially in Omega-verse stories. Their chemistry? Off the charts. When Paige goes into Heat—lock the doors and throw away the key. Sparks everywhere. But what I adored most is that Mickey never lets the passion eclipse the care: he checks in, makes sure she feels safe, reminds her to take her meds and drink water. Tenderness and fire in one package.

One of my favorite aspects of this story is that Paige is never “magically cured.” So many fantasy and romance books wave away chronic illness or neurodivergence as if they’re flaws to be erased. Addison James refuses to do that. Paige’s headaches don’t vanish; instead, she gains access to a new drug that helps, but her condition remains part of her life. And that’s the point—it’s not a flaw. It’s not something broken. It’s part of what makes Paige her. Her endurance, her resilience—it’s her superpower.

And can we take a moment to cheer for Mickey absolutely wrecking Paige’s toxic father and ex-boyfriend when they try to belittle her? Finally, someone in her corner who not only stands up for her but refuses to let those voices drag her down anymore. Mickey throwing that punch was cathartic as hell—woop woop!

The Heat Cure is more than just a romance. It’s a story about love in its purest form: understanding, acceptance, devotion, and the courage to stand by someone through everything. It’s tender, it’s fiery, and it’s unforgettable.

Oh this book was something special. It turns out that Omegaverse is the perfect vehicle for exploring medical misogyny and the additional issues faced by the neurospicy.

Paige is an autistic omega who suffers from chronic headaches. She is trying to access a new treatment but her insurance company is insisting she have a heat to make sure that it isn’t just hormonal (insert feminine rage). BUT it’s not that simple due to her sensory issues. Fortunately, her BFF’s brother Mickey is here to help.

So there’s a lot of tropes that you might expect from a story like this, including fake dating, idiots to lovers (my new term for these books), nesting and ex drama. You know the drill. There are three other things that I want to highlight.

Firstly, the anti-toxic masculinity in this book is wonderful. Mickey’s flags are so green he looks like Shrek. Seriously. He’s a children’s librarian and regularly deals with the stigma of being a man (and an alpha) in a traditionally female dominated area.

Secondly, the experiences of people with chronic pain, particularly the neurodiverse. In most cases, the power balance is shifted so definitely against them, shown here by the insurance company’s refusal to fund the medication. The story is written with the exhausted sarcasm that comes from living with a chronic, invisible condition, and the vulnerability of the easily over-stimulated.

Finally, the book is not about fixing Paige, or solving her problems. There is no quick cure - just improvement. The true wonder of the book is in finding a supportive partner who learns to listen and meet her where she is.

Obviously being a book about an omega’s heat, it is a slow burn open door. There’s discussion of domestic violence, disinterested parents and (surprise!) medical misogyny.

This book was really great. It’s a must for Omegaverse fans, but I think fans of regular contemporary romance will be able to enjoy it. I highly recommend it.

ARC Review The Heat Cure by Addison James
🌟🌟🌟🌟💫4.5/5
🌶️🌶️🌶️3/5

🌸Omegaverse
❤️‍🔥Best friend’s brother
🌺Found Family
💖He falls first
🌹 Friends to lovers
💗 He comforts her when she’s ill

"If you’re with me, Paige, then I’m going to make sure to f*cking worship you. Your heat is meant for your alpha to show you you’re a queen, and shame on any alpha who doesn’t treat their omega that way."

This was such a cute and heartwarming read, I love omegaverse’s stories that focus more on the plot than the spice and this book was exactly that. I loved Paige, she is so strong and resilient throughout the story, she has chronic pain but it doesn’t stop her from doing everything that she can to get what she wants. She gets the help of her best friend’s brother, Mickey, who is in love head over heels for Paige and he shows her throughout the story that she doesn’t have to do everything alone. He adores her and shows her that she can lean on him and trust him to take care of her.

I could really relate to Paige and I love how the author didn’t magically fix her with a cure all medication. I loved Mickey and Paige’s relationship, it takes some time for them to find the right beat and balance, especially with Mickey wanting to take care of Paige, but it was all worth it in the end. The depth of their love for each other was swoon worthy and really satisfying.

The found family aspect got me right in the feels too, it made me connect with the characters even more.

I would highly recommend this book, it’s light and easy to read and a great introduction to omegaverse if you have never read one before.

Thank you to Addison James and her team for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Paige has been struggling with a medical system that constantly fails her. Desperate for relief from the headaches and migraines that have plagued her for years, she agrees to go through a single heat to prove suppression isn’t the root of her exhaustion. The problem? She’s autistic, hates being touched, and doesn’t trust anyone to handle her medical needs properly, until Mickey, her best friend’s brother, offers to help.
“He hasn't bitten me yet, but it's like the world's axis has shifted for us both. We're orbiting each other.”

What I liked:
✨ Mickey is a gentle giant who was utterly obsessed with Paige in the best way. He put her needs first, even while learning what those needs were, and never once diminished her independence despite her chronic pain.
✨ The portrayal of living with chronic illness was heartfelt and realistic, showing both struggle and resilience.
✨ The caretaking scenes? Swoon-worthy. Sweet, tender, and spicy all at once. Mickey supporting her through her heat was ughh I wish most men these days are like Mickey.
✨ When Mickey saw her asking for his shirt and tucking them in her nest because she needs his scent, I'm squirming!! Why she has to be so cute!
“I like the way you hold me.”
“My arms are always available. I like the way you feel in them.”

"Well if I can be an adequate fidget substitute for the next little while, you won't hear me complaining."

Overall, this was such a thoughtful, tender, and heartwarming romance with spice that hit just right. I loved every second.

This is the first werewolf book I’ve read in over ten years, and I’m thoroughly gagged.

This was a perfect read. I finished it two minutes ago, and I wish I could erase my memory and read this all over again for the first time. This is the coziest, steamiest book I’ve had the pleasure of reading in years. I am the pickiest person ever when it comes to romance, often reading this genre as a “palette cleanser” that never leaves me actually fulfilled or entertained, but this has changed everything for me. This was genuinely perfect. I can count on one hand the number of romances I’ve given five stars to, and by God, this is a five-star read.

As someone with two Goodreads accounts (one dedicated to smutty romances and one dedicated to classic literature, with the goal of never letting anyone from my personal life know I enjoy contemporary romance), I might actually have to log this on my “main” Goodreads. It’s that fricken good.

I’m undone by this book. I started it on a Friday evening after an awful day at work, and canceled weekend plans with friends to lay in bed and finish it. I’m genuinely in awe over how much I enjoyed this. Wow. Thank you, author, for writing this!

The Heat Cure was exactly what I needed: sweet, spicy, cozy, and wonderfully low-stress.

Despite its urban fantasy/paranormal setting, this isn’t a high-stakes action-packed fantasy—it’s really a small-town romance at heart, wrapped in an omegaverse package. And honestly? That’s what made it so refreshing.

This book leans fully into character connection, emotional comfort, and romantic tension rather than suspense or drama. The stakes are personal, the chemistry is fantastic, and Paige and Mickey’s relationship felt deeply comforting. Mickey’s longtime devotion paired with Paige’s journey through chronic illness and being heard added heart to what could have otherwise been a simple fluffy romance.

If you’re looking for:
Cozy paranormal romance
Friends-to-lovers vibes
Small-town romance energy
Spice without overwhelming angst
Low suspense, high comfort
…then this is absolutely worth picking up.

For me, The Heat Cure felt like the literary equivalent of comfort food: warm, satisfying, and exactly what I needed at the right time.

Perfect for readers who want romance first, fantasy second.

Thank you for the ARC. I'm always grateful to be trusted with this.

I used to think that omegaverse rhymed with shifting and werewolves and all that. So it took me a few chapters to adjust to this world where there are alphas, betas, and omegas, but without any fantastical elements.

Paige, the FMC, is suffering from a real health condition throughout the book. While she's lucky enough to have someone like the MMC, Mickey, to take care of her, she spends much of her time refusing help or seeing it as pity. This narrative felt a bit repetitive, but I do understand that it's probably exactly how it is in real life. I had a lot of empathy for Paige.

Mickey also has his own repetitive narrative about fearing he'll turn out like his father. They both could have grown a bit faster so we could see more of them in a real relationship: still evolving together, but without their respective stubbornness.

It was a sweet love story with a very caring MMC, beautifully written, and a great representation of chronic illness in a romance book.

This is my first omegaverse style book. It took me awhile to adjust to the idea there were no shifting or animal half’s to the characters but it was a really good read!!!

Paige is a woman dealing with a sickness that is at times manageable to at times debilitating. While reading this my heart broke for this character, I know this feeling and I know the feeling of the other half of her situation. Made me really connect with this character.

Mickey is definitely a golden retriever type and he loves her beyond measure. He comes with his own insecurities and the way he treats her? Omg reminds me sooo much of my current relationship!

This is a very sweet, amazing, and yes spicy read. There is longing and sooo much tension. Even tho it is an omegaverse it’s very relatable. I got sooo engrossed into this book that I would literally get mad whenever life called for me to put it down.

I hope she will write more like this in the future!

Thank you sooo much for choosing me to do an arc read for this book! It was an absolute joy to read and I really hope for more in the future!!

***ARC Review***
Heat Cure was my first dive into the Omegaverse, and it took me a little while to grasp the dynamics of omegas, betas, and alphas- especially without the usual fantastical elements. I do wish there had been a bit more explanation about how relationships and social systems work in this world, as I sometimes found myself piecing it together on the fly- particularly when side characters’ stories were included. Paige—a chronically ill FMC with autism—felt real, raw, and beautifully written.
The portrayal of NDPH (New Daily Persistent Headache) was not only informative, but eye-opening- adding a layer of emotional depth and representation that is rarely seen in romance. Then there’s the relationships—tender, messy, and full of longing. The slow-burn romance between Paige and her best friend’s brother delivers plenty of tension and swoon-worthy moments (plus a solid 3🌶️ of spice!). And the friendship between Paige and Emma? Pure found-family gold.

If you’re looking for a romance that blends heartfelt representation, emotional connections, and just the right amount of heat, this is one to check out.

Omegaverse books never disappoint!

This was an interesting read for me; one thinks she's not worthy of the love and affection, and the other one thinks he needs to overcompensate. It's crazy that some people make you feel you're not enough or that you're too much, but you know you're with the right person when everything works and you can just be yourself.

I love that there's representation of chronic illness through Paige. It's frustrating that they make it so hard for people who are already in pain to get what they need in order to feel better. So happy that she has Mickey in her life! I just love how he takes care of Paige, and they're so precious together.

I recommend this book if you like:
- Omegaverse
- Fake dating
- Best friend's brother
- He falls first
- Small town
- Chronic illness representation

Thank you so much to Addison James and to Epica Book PR for the ARC opportunity!

This book has an amazing base I didn't expect for an omegaverse story; it felt really new and pleasant. Mixing the autistic and omega elements was surprising; it gave the story an unexpected deepness. And the serious elements, like illness, were represented in a realistic and emotional way; it was easy to understand a little part of what the people who have them have to go through.

The main characters are the cutest; they have an incredible connection, and his devotion is everything. I was so happy when they finally got together for real, because they wanted to be.

Thank you @addyjameswriter and @epicabookpr for giving me the chance of being an ARC.

No words.

If I had to sum up my genuine feelings about this book, I'd end up writing a book myself.

It was beautiful. For anyone who has ever dealt with an invisible illness, chronic pain, and especially debilitating migraines, it's so real.

The explanations of not just the pain but the functionality, the fact that you want to feel better not just for yourself but for the ones who you feel you burden. It was heartbreaking and so fulfilling in every way.

When it comes to the ASD side of things, I feel the characters lacked the depth that someone with ASD would have, but that is just from knowing people with it in my own life, not my personal experiences. Not that it would matter.

Nothing would make me take a star away from this masterpiece.

Well done, Addison.
Well done.

The Heat Cure is an emotionally intense, beautifully written romance that had me hooked from the very first chapter.

The characters felt incredibly real, both in their pain and their passion. The chemistry between them wasn’t just about physical attraction—it was about finding comfort and understanding in the middle of chaos. The author doesn’t shy away from showing the messy, complicated side of healing, and that made the story all the more powerful.

I loved how the romance developed slowly, with tenderness and depth ( from friends to heat partners to lovers). There were moments that broke me, and others that stitched me right back together. The emotional growth in this story felt honest and hard-won, which made the payoff at the end that much more satisfying.

Addison James has crafted an emotionally layered romance-that balances heartfelt realism with romantic tension. Through Paige's chronic illness and autism, the writing feels incredibly empathetic and genuine, making her situation deeply resonant. The story doesn't shy away from showing how messy recovery and love can be, which makes the emotional arcs feel deeply earned.

Yes, it's spicy-but emotionally more than just physical. There's a slow burn that builds tension beautifully, while moments of intimacy are charged with feeling, trust, and longing.

This is a romance with heart. If you're drawn to slow-burn, emotionally rich relationships where healing, trust, and vulnerability take center stage-plus a dash of steamy chemistry-The Heat Cure is a memorable choice.

Thank you Addison James and her team for the arc!

This is my first venture into the omegaverse and I found it to be decent. Paige is a young woman who has been in a battle her entire life; from a chronic illness to her family and to possibly a childhood crush in one Mickey Condor. A last ditch effort to get an experimental drug trial leads to passions being discovered.

I enjoyed watching Paige and Mickey explore their relationship and finding their balance. I also found the representation of a chronic illness that I was unfamilar with to be eye opening and I find myself wanting to know about.

“𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗶𝗿”

I’ve never read an omegaverse before, so this one was such a pleasant surprise.

What stole my heart the most? The MMC, Mickey. He’s the definition of a gentle giant. I absolutely swooned every time he took care of Paige and put her needs first. He’s basically a walking green flag. And Paige? I adore how she refused to let the world define her.

This was such an enjoyable read with just the right amount of heat, and can we take a moment to appreciate how cute the cover is? Highly recommend!

Thank you to Addison James and Epica Book PR for the ARC.

a beautiful peek into a special story

This was gorgeous.
I have been an avid reader for 20 years and have seen so many versions of the same thing it tends to be monotonous.

THIS is not that.

This story is a beautiful version of love, strength, resilience and acceptance.

Pain and living with differences often make people feel uncomfortable when you discuss it.
This story shows us from the other side...and damn it was passionate in its honesty, Raw in its transparency and poignant to the point of tears.

Her reality is something not many of us will ever truly understand.
It will live in my mind rent free for eternity.

I get it’s a close to the heart subject for the author, but it felt like a story about a chronic illness and throw in autism in there and make it omegaverse, only she isn’t like any omega cause she is autistic and has this awful illness. I read omegaverse stories, love them. This was very different and not really focused on the omega part, front and center is NDPH. It feels wrong to say I was tired of the story cause it dragged the illness through every single page, seeing how it’s a real thing and it sounds freaking horrible. But it made me feel bad for not liking the story.

Cute story with alphas and omegas. A very strong omega and an alpha that wants his omega to shine. Slow burn but when it lights it buns. Great story and character building.
Love reading this about someone that struggles with medical issues and trying to make do and how it speaks to me with having chronic migraines myself. Stories like this helps open those doors and shine light on issues that are typically not talked about.
Cannot wait to read more.
