Overall it was just meh. The story had no substantial depth even for a novella. I didn't quite feel the chemistry between those two and there was nothing interesting. But hey at least I managed to finish it

This is a paranormal romance, featuring Otto and Vaden, and is book two in the At First series.
Otto finally gets a chance to show off his magical makeup at a big convention, but things get complicated fast. His new assistant, Vaden, is serious, charming, and way too tempting—especially when a scandal breaks out and a kiss changes everything.
I’ve really enjoyed this series so far, if you have never read paranormal, this series would be a great step into the genre, it’s very light on the paranormal.

I just couldn't get into the story. It all seemed a bit boring. Not sure why but overall the book was just okay.

Short, sweet and very fluffy. I loved Otto and Vaden. They are complete opposites, but mesh together so well. A perfect palette cleanser after something heavy. This was 90 mins of pure sunshine.
