What if the greatest military mind of our generation was born to a people who are already supremely conditioned to wage war, who know nothing but violence since birth, and must continually adapt to new predators in order to survive? What if the second coming of Alexander the Great, of Genghis Khan, of Napoleon, of Patton...what if it was a teenaged girl from South Central, L.A. named Destiny? And what if she decides to secede three blocks of the ‘Hood from the Union? Who is going to take it back from her and her army of gangbangers? Who CAN? From writers MARC BERNARDIN and ADAM FREEMAN (Alphas, X-Men Origins: Nightcrawler, The Authority, The Highwaymen) and rising-star artist AFUA RICHARDSON comes a harrowing, action-packed tale of a city that declares war on a brilliant young woman pushed to the edge.

Worse than #1.

However, not as wordy, so I was done the shit faster...

So dumb. Just violence and language for the sake of it. There's no mission here, no point, no grand scheme I see yet.

2 strikes down Anne...

Ugh. Just kind of hating this. I guess it hits too close to reality in some ways, especially after the police shootings last year. This comic sets up the police as the villains basically and the genius girl in the hood as a military hero, and the public apparently is so easily manipulated that some viral videos makes them accept the cop killings as good. I realize this is fantasy, but the message makes me mad.

the war is progressing and has shifted from the streets to the homes of Americans through the news bringing support from the cops.

That's about the only thing that happened in this issue. I really want to love this series
