Love the series

I have definitely loved and enjoyed this interesting series and can't wait for book 5!!! Looking forward to reading the aria series, and also burning bridges by the same characters. Book finished on an intriguing note that makes you want to read on and on and on. Hope Anna Adams keeps on writing this series .

*SPOILERS*

I still enjoyed this book, but I think it was a little settle compared to the other books. There weren’t any risks taken or any sudden turns that happened. In the end there were some events where Maude didn’t get the lead that she was supposed to have or she was singing at the wrong place. These events were subtle and didn’t keep her from becoming an opera diva! Sometimes while reading, I want to listen to Maude sing ,but she isn’t a real person so I’m like WHY?? I did enjoy this book and I am excited to keep reading the series!

Good book as always in the series

I like this book because Matt and Maude don't have big fights and break up.But I love the other books more to be honest but this is still worth reading as there are big surprises and changes.!!!!!

Well, that was a disappointment. Although this book is quite not-so-subtly feminist, I found it was very misandrist and that misandrism was brished off casually, as a joke. There's lots of important points here and stuff to learn, for sure. But Matt and Maude's romance was very sucky, including the fuck-the-side-character theme going on. The writing style fell behind. The pace was nice but, contradictorily, the book was too abrupt like Anna was in a hurry to finish it and just get rid of an assignment.

You ever finish or catch up with a series after a long session of binge reading then go "What am I going to do now?" when you're done? Yeah, that's me right now.

This series is really good. It's cute and addicting and it makes me really excited to read. It reminds me of the types of books I used to read a few years ago when I loved reading more than anything. I like this series now but I know twelve year old me would have LOVED this series. This series is really idealistic and optimistic about everything. It's refreshing to read a contemporary book where the characters aren't confessing their undying love after only knowing each other for a few weeks or days, or where the characters don't have to deal with something crushing like cancer or school shooting, or even where the characters aren't banging each other in every other chapter. The French Girl series is...refreshing. Now, this isn't for everybody because it's so idealistic and optimistic but for me it's perfect.

Adams sure knows how to write. Maude's passion for music flew off the page. It got me really excited about music as well. It's so nice to see someone so passionate about what they do. It gets me really passionate as well.

A French Diva in New York is probably the weakest book in the series. It was really rushed, especially near the end. A French Princess in Versailles is the best book in the series and it leaves a lot of questions near the end. Those questions never really get answered until the end of this one. It seemed very rushed because the author had to address all of those questions at the same time. It all goes by very quick because so much time is spent on Maude's career as an opera singer.

There are still some things from the third book that I wish had been addressed (like what happened to Emma?) but I'm happy with how this ended. This book is definitely only meant to show Maude's career as an opera singer and give readers the Matt and Maude moments they've been waiting for. I just wanted more from this. Like, more Baldwin family time or Cynthia and Daniel's relationship blooming or even more Elder Williams. It's useless, though, to wish for something that isn't there. I'm happy that things all ended well.

This is a really good, addicting series. While A French Diva in New York may be the weakest in the series, it's still a fun read. I definitely recommend this is you just want to have fun for a while!

It saddens me to say that this is my final review for The French Girl series, but like they say, all good things must come to an end.

A French Diva in New York, the final installment in this enchanting series, does not disappoint as it delivers all that I expected and more for the grand finale.

In the previous installment, A French Princess in Versailles, Matt makes a lot of appearances, and I am absolutely ecstatic to say that he is constantly present in this book, and it is so very fab. He not only provides a familiar (and swoon-worthy) face, he also provides more dimension to the storyline as he travels with Maude and Cordelia through Europe in order to create a career for Maude in the opera industry.

This book really emphasizes Maude's passion for music and her drive to follow her dreams and instincts. A lot happens in this last book and the three prior books, and her tenacity is to be admired. I love, love, love her character and personality, and it's one of the main reasons this book, and this series, is one that I can say is a must-read for all contemporary fans.

There isn't much else that I can say without ruining this wonderful ending, but what I can say is that Anna Adams is a writing genius. She puts together and effortlessly whole series that oozes (in the best way possible, of course) personality and spirit, and it's everything I could ask for in a book and a series.

A French Diva in New York is the perfect ending to a spectacular series, and there's no other way that I'd imagine it ending. Sure, I suppose it could continue on some more, but I think it's the right time to end this series, and it was done in the most appropriate and worthy way.

All in all, The French Girl series is one that I'm so glad to have stumbled across. Like any series, there were ups and downs (many ups and very few downs, mind you), but everything was worth it because Maude, Matt, and the whole crew made it one worth the positives, the negatives and everything in between.

I'm sad to have to say goodbye to Maude's world, but I'm so grateful that I had the chance to say hello to begin with. Until next time...

In the fourth book of the series, Maude ends up back in New York after her tour of the various opera houses in Europe. She has decided she still wants to be a pop singer, as well as classical. When her uncle's record company runs into trouble, she decides to stay and try to create another hit for him and relaunch her pop singing career. Her cousin Cynthia drops a bomb on the family that nearly tears them apart. Maude and Matt at last declare their love and become the new 'it' couple. Pretty much par for the course of the series - but Adams manages to keep some suspense going from one book to the next. (I do wish the author would learn the difference between 'tampered' and 'tempered', though - she keeps using the first when the second would be correct. Otherwise the book is fairly free of typos, misspellings, etc. - rare in a self-published e-book.)

I do love Maude and her stories, but, though this one was still entertaining, it was a bit of a let down.

The book is called "A French diva in New York" but I got the impression that most of the story takes place in Europe. The plot feels rather rushed *spoilers ahead * Everywhere she was to present, there was a little sightseeing, someone didn't like her and then she sang and proved then otherwise. Same thing everywhere. And when she comes back to New York it's as if the author just wanted to put everything out there.

Amazingggg!!!!

This will one of the greatest series I ever read. It gave me some life lessons, that I will use later on in life. You should keep writing more series/books because they are so inspirational to us people. I thank you for taking your time to write this series/books and for being compassionate and loving throughout each scene, so thank you.

I am speechless, another great book from Anna Adams. It's cute, funny and it teaches you a great amount of lessons. The story may not be for everyone, it's really optimistic and innocent, this is the reason of why I love it so much.
This book gets a 5/5 stars from me. Can't wait for the fifth book!

Liked it a lot but didn't quite love it. Still loved all the characters. Kinda wanted a more meaty finish to Maude's story....but oh well. It was great and enjoyable journey. Can't wait to see what's next for Anna Adams.

Wouldn't change a thing

This is one of my personal favorites after reading it. This series is one of the best series I I've read (I have to put Harry Potter first, nothing can top that)!

I loved this book,
I loved the whole series. Finally Maude is happy, her classical and pop music is on track, her family is happy, she finally confessed her feelings to Matt and everything is great. I love happy endings and I am even more happy to know that this is not the ending.
If you are into this series, then I must say that this is one of the best books of this series.
Go for it. 👍
