I’m loving the foreshadowing and the slow simmer between the MC H and h. And the side love story between the guard and her personal attendant is SO. CUTE. He’s a big ole’ CinnaRoll and I am DOWN for it!

Waited impatiently all day for the mail to arrive and finally be able to read this beauty and it didn’t disappoint, I love the slow burn and obvious pull between the two even as they both deny it. Him teaching her to ride horseback is adorable and I hope they manage to avoid the future she’s running from. Artwork is STUNNING

Absolutely LOVED this volume!
I never imagined my enjoyment of this series would go up even MORE with reading this volume, but it did! The slow unfolding romance is very, very good and I definitely appreciated how them getting to know one another was over something I personally have never seen before in my manhwa reading: Horseback riding!
Bianca continues to be an incredible female lead, and I would say that for anyone who didn't like how "harsh" she was in volume one, she is more subdued in this one. Don't get me wrong! She doesn't put up with anything and loved seeing her cheer when she convinced her husband to let her learn how to ride a horse, but I found that she is much softer? likable? when we see more into her heart as we did in this volume. Granted, I already really liked her, but I really feel people will enjoy Bianca more in this volume if they weren't really a fan of her in volume one!
I'm excited to see our leads come together due to events that happened! I'm unsure of what I can say, except I think it's a very big turning point for them! I appreciated how the narrator really drops these lovely tidbits of hope about their relationship and how they will grow much closer together. I honestly think we are already seeing that now because seeing Bianca's husband have a moment of jealousy had me cheering (as bad as that is to say)! It's really hard to gauge his emotions, and so knowing he DOES care for his wife more than he lets on was deeply satisfying. Plus, him "hiding" from her because he was embarrassed she waved to him was cute!
I'm not a fan of one of the princes we meet at the end, and I hope he will stay far, far away from our leads because he just screams bad vibes! Outside of him, though, I am eager to read more of this series! I continue to love it so very much!

J'aime vraiment cette série, Bianca prend petit à petit ses marques à Arno et se rapproche de Zachary, ils sont adorables ensemble. Les graphismes sont magnifiques et j'adore le design des tenues. vivement la suite

Dans ce deuxième tome de Marriage of Convenience, on retrouve Bianca d’Arno, une jeune comtesse qui a eu la chance de revivre sa vie après un destin malheureux. Autrefois négligente et désintéressée, elle a perdu tout ce qui lui tenait à cœur : son mari, son domaine et son honneur. Revenu à ses dix-huit ans, elle décide cette fois de changer les choses. Déterminée à se montrer digne de son nom et à se construire un avenir différent, Bianca veut désormais prouver sa valeur, faire prospérer le comté d’Arno et surtout, renforcer sa relation avec son mari, Zachary.
Ce tome met en avant une Bianca beaucoup plus volontaire. Elle s’implique dans la gestion du domaine, prend des décisions, et cherche à le faire rayonner à nouveau. Son idée de développer la dentelle comme artisanat local et symbole de prestige montre à quel point elle a gagné en maturité. Là où elle se contentait autrefois d’être une noble oisive, elle devient ici une véritable dirigeante, attentive à son peuple et soucieuse de l’avenir. On découvre une Bianca curieuse et désireuse d’apprendre. Elle se met à l’équitation, un apprentissage à la fois symbolique et intime, sous la tutelle de Zachary. Ce moment de partage est révélateur : au-delà de la technique, il s’agit pour elle d’apprendre à se faire confiance, à sortir de sa peur de l’échec et à aller de l’avant. Cette évolution donne beaucoup de charme à l’histoire ; on la voit grandir pas à pas, de façon crédible et touchante.
Leur union, à l’origine purement pratique et dénuée de sentiments, commence ici à prendre une autre dimension. Zachary, souvent perçu comme froid et distant, se montre plus présent, plus attentif. Leurs échanges gagnent en douceur, en complicité. Bianca apprend à voir son mari autrement, à lire dans ses silences, et à apprécier ses gestes discrets. De son côté, Zachary laisse entrevoir un attachement sincère, bien qu’encore maladroit. On sent que le lien entre eux se construit lentement, avec pudeur et respect, ce qui rend leur relation d’autant plus réaliste. Le thème de la seconde chance est central dans ce tome. Bianca veut se racheter, non pas seulement auprès de Zachary, mais surtout envers elle-même. Elle refuse de répéter les erreurs de son passé : l’orgueil, la paresse et l’indifférence. Cette volonté de se reconstruire est à la fois émouvante et inspirante. Elle ne cherche pas la perfection, mais la sincérité. Son parcours évoque une vraie renaissance, où chaque effort compte et où chaque petit pas la rapproche d’une version d’elle-même plus forte et plus aimante.

The second volume and nothing new yet, all of this I read on Tapas years ago (before I got way too frustrated at only being able to unlock 1 episode every 3 or so days). In this one Bianca and Arno get closer and I was just shipping them like mad. I am so happy that they are both figuring out the other, having conversations, helping the other out, being there for each other, and having some seriously cute moments with some almost kisses. These two are so cute together.
Plus, Bianca thinks back to the past she experienced, she gets even better at managing the household, thinks about the future, and tries to make Arno great with the craft projects. I also love seeing her learn to ride horses.
Also Gaspard x Yvonne for life! I loved those moments when I first read it and I am loving seeing it happen again. EEP! Also love how Bianca knows and is now helping out, teehee.
The art is gorgeous!
Can't wait for the next volume! Let's see if anything new is there, though I don't mind rereading and enjoying the story again. I do feel some drama coming up with Jacob, I can remember things going pretty sour.

Ce 2eme tome est plus interessant car on entre vraiment dans la vie du Comte & Comtesse. Le dessin est juste incroyable vraiment je suis fan de l’univers & on va pas se mentir Mr Comte est plutôt canon bref…
Les rapprochements sont toujours là & on a envie de plus, j’aime beaucoup l’humour & l’autodérision de certains persos, les personnages secondaires prennent un peu plus de place & on en rencontre d’autre !!!
J’ai hâte de suivre la suite de leur aventures dans le prochain tome car cette fin est croustillante j’adore🤭🥰

No se mucho que opinar sobre la trama en general.
No me cuadra o más bien no me gusta gusta el hecho de que se hayan casado cuando ella era una niña aunque entiendo que eso es algo que se hacía antes...realmente detesto al padre de la chica y casi ni apareció.

Ouais, bon, bif bof. La narration est hyper poussive et blindée d'exposition en s'appuyant sur le fait que l'héroïne connaît le futur ("ah tiens, voilà Méchantor le MECHANT" tumtumtuuuuum), la relation entre les deux protagonistes très convenue (et vraiment j'arrive pas à aller au-delà de leur écart d'âge).
Seul point positif : les dessins sont magnifiques.

Bianca ha conseguido cambiar muchas cosas, no solo su vida, sino también la relación que tiene con los habitantes de su territorio. La relación con Zachary también ha mejorado muchísimo y hacen un viaje a la capital. Aquí es donde la cosa se complica, aparecen varios malos malosos y la trama política se pone en marcha. También se explica porqué Bianca "volvió al pasado"
