I was minding my own business, exploring this brand new alien world myself and my friends have found ourself on, when Dexx kidnapped me.
The great, scarred warlord is king of the underworld and he says he needs a mate to break the cycle which afflicts him and his crew.

Scarlett is amazing! She’s brilliant, resilient, kind and compassionate. And I absolutely adored her fierceness and sass. Even more, Scarlett has so much courage to face and deal with all the challenges thrown her way. She’s a remarkable woman and I loved her so, so much!
And then, there’s Dexx! He’s one bossy, snarly, grumpy, possessive and obsessive Sarkarnii. Even more, he’s dangerous, lethal and not a big fan of following the rules. But Dexx is also fiercely protective, loyal and so charming in his own gruff way. This Sarkarnii warlord is one irresistible male and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Scarlett and Dexx! Scarlett has always been a curious woman but exploring the neutral sector of Vorostor Central might get her into more trouble than she ever imagined. Because the moment she’s alone, Dexx snatches her right under the noses of the other Sarkarnii. I loved those two together! Their chemistry was incredible from the start and their banters, teasing and bickerings were a true delight to read. And seeing the rules-defying Dexx actually willing to follow rules for Scarlett was incredible. And let me tell you, Dexx was so relentless and determined to make the fierce woman his and it melted my heart. Even more, the more time they spent together, the more Scarlett saw beyond the Sarkarnii's snarly facade. And when they finally gave into the undeniable attraction, the passionate moments they shared were so hot and I couldn’t get enough. Scarlett and Dexx has a few bumps along their journey towards happiness but they were absolutely perfect for each other and more than deserved to find love together.
In addition, the storyline was fantastic! Much is happening on Vorostor Central and danger is lurking closer than anyone expected. But no one knows better how to cause and deal with trouble than the Sarkarnii. With all the unexpected turns of events and revelations, I was glued to the pages till the very end, excited to see how everything will be resolved.
Overall, Captured by the Dragon Warlord is another spectacular addition to the series! It’s filled with action, suspense, danger, twists, humor, drama, smoking-hot passion and incredible characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!
And with THAT epilogue, I cannot wait to see what happens next!

I do enjoy a good dragon warrior and this series makes me smile laugh trowel in frustration and fall in love all during the course of one book! The characters have chemistry and the storyline are usually intriguing. This is Dexx and I loved this! It had a beauty and the beast vibe but wasn't a retelling of the story. The characters had tons of chemistry and the storyline was well done. This is Dexx and Scarlet's story. Scarlet was investigating her new surroundings when she's taken. At first she thinks its the cockroach aliens but it turns out to be one of the Sarkarni warlords. Um one that is considered a bit crazy. Dexx knows that his scarlet is his one and only mate alone wants to do is shower her with affection and any else she nay want. Scarlet doesn't trust Any dog them and give Dexx a heard time. The enemy from the first book shows up in full force. He wants to rule over the Sarkarni And use then to ru!e moved multiple galaxies . As danger strikes Scarlet and Dexx become closer and try to solve the mystery. Can they find the enemy within before its too late or maybe will Dexx and Scarlet be torn apart? A fun and thrilling adventure with a sizzling hot, alpha-male dragon shifter MMC and a fierce, intelligent, and resilient FMC!
Dexx is like most Sarkarnii warlords; he is possessive, grumpy, and deliciously irresistible, but there is more to him than just growls and fighting. His loyalty to his people and his complete devotion to Scarlett help her to see past his bossy, snarly nature to uncover a protective and surprisingly charming male.
Scarlett is an enjoyable FMC; she is brilliant, sassy, and courageous. Her determination to help Dexx once things get dangerous shows her incredible heart. Her "rules" and his reactions and thoughts of those rules were a highlight of the book for me!
Their banter and bickering are so much fun to read, their passionate moments are steamy, and their tender moments are endearing. The storyline is fantastic, with more than just romance. With unexpected turns, danger lurking, and plenty of action and suspense that made it impossible to put down.

I absolutely loved reading the story of Scarlet and Dexx. Scarlett is a human who has been taken from earth and has been living with the Sarkarnii with a group of other females from earth, but Scarlett has been taken by a Sarkarnii Warrior who is known to be grumpy and hard to get along with. When they discover that something is wrong in his sector, they work together to try and find out what is really behind his clan, not being able to change whenever they want. Scarlett discovers that she is pregnant with twins. Her life is even more important to her mate than before. There is a dark force out there who is set to cause harm to the humans and clone the Sarkarnii and to take over the world. The story gets really exciting and eventually they are able to destroy the danger and destroy ends with Rosalie and Dante, which looks exciting as well.

I really liked the set up of this story and how feral Dexx was. He was intense and very morally grey, grappling with some big problems as a leader. Scarlett was bold and actively fighting against her past of being “a doormat”. They ended up bringing out the best in each other. The switch flipping from “actively trying to get away” and “I’ll stay with you forever” was abrupt to me, and kept it from being a full 4 stars.

Absolutely loved this one!
I finished this last week while on holiday in Spain but forgot to review 🙄
He wants a human female. She’s curious about her new surroundings. He kinda abducts her, and she lays down the rules he’ll have to follow if he wants her to stay — and honestly, I was hooked!
Dexx and Scarlett are such a brilliant pairing. She’s clever, fierce, and refuses to be pushed around. He’s all grump, growl, and intensity — until she turns his world upside down. Loved the chemistry between them!
There’s action, heat, emotion, and that perfect mix of danger and tenderness that Hattie Jacks does so well. I loved seeing their relationship grow from wary tension to absolute devotion.
Another fantastic addition to the series — Hattie Jacks never misses!

abducted again
First the good: the couple was entertaining and matched.
Learned more about the Sarkarni and what happened when the sickness got hold of them and their women. As well as the smoke enemies.
Second, did not like the confusion and blurring of the story. Some parts felt like repeats of others in series and filler that was waste of my time reading. Wished there was more on the big picture. Such as who they traded fuel to and what they got in return. Still clueless to the planet they are on and why they live on ships the can or cannot fly instead of building new community housing for their shifted or not forms.

I am so thrilled to read another book focused on the Sarkarnii warriors! I missed the first book in the series but caught onto and fell in love with the world that Ms. Jacks built very quickly. Scarlett was my favourite kind of heroine - feisty and smart yet willing to fall for a big, bad warrior - and Dexx was everything I have come to expect from a Sarkarnii warrior - fierce and bawdy yet with deep roots and huge burdens to carry. I am so looking forward to reading more books in this series and I happily and voluntarily reviewed this book.

I am absolutely smitten by these warlords. They certainly beat to their own drum and Daxx is no exception.
Scarlett is a force to be reckoned with and when she finds herself in deep trouble figuratively and literally she lashes out at the one person responsible.
This unlikely partnership is hot, steamy, and definitely addictive. The commitment and passion that ensues is absolutely worth the read. This page turner is action packed and an eye opener.

Captured by the Dragon Warlord by Hattie Jacks tells the live story of of human Scarlett and Dragon-man Dexx. Like most of the aliens, Dexx kidnaps Scarlett who imposes rules on her captor who is unable, like the rest of his clan, to control his shift. Come to find out the evil professor has been experimenting on his clan, but a battle including most of the warlords takes care that problem, leading to the dragon's dancing for his bride!

I love this series. Scarlett is so defiant. Dexx is so determined. They actually make a great pair.
POV of each. This is a standalone with plenty of action, steam to the eventual romance and of course the perfect HEA for them. The flow is good. Loved the humor and Scarlett's "rules" for dating a human.
The back story is beginning to make more sense to the dragons. Love the twists.

OMG poor Scarlet, she needed some air, and ends up getting kidnapped then imprisoned by Dexx (one of the worst Sarkarnii Warlord).
Oh but Dexx is sweet in his overbearing grumpy ways. But my gods Dexx relax!
I really did love their story, it was a little beauty and the beast meets Stockholm syndrome at the beginning, but once the beast was soothed, it went back to more of a gruff beast and his fiery beauty.

Captured by the dragon warlord
Exciting and thrilling read. Its filled with action,very suspenseful, laughter and sexy scenes. Love the mix of fake robotic sarkarnii versus the real. Dexx snatches Scarlett from the neutral zone and sparks fly in more ways then one. Fans this is a must read series.

What a ride. What started as yet another abduction turns into something a lot better. But every story has it's bumps they have to fight trough. No exceptions here!
One thing is for sure, these dragon guys know how to brawl but also how to throw q party.

An entertaining read showcasing human women, Sarkarnii warlords and an unknown evil entity. I enjoyed watching the fun human-Sarkarnii banter and all of the associated action as the story unfolded.
