It's been a long time since I last bought a photo book, but I'm glad I bought this one. I've been following Sean Tucker for a while and this is the first time I've seen his photos in print.
Sean has made a name for himself (at least for me) with his black and white, or almost black and white, photos with clear structures and high contrast. So it was a positive surprise to see how well he has worked with the color tones in his color photos. The color is not just there, it really contributes to the image.
The photos are of very high quality throughout the book and there is a little more humor in them than I had expected.
