Perfect Love

Rate this book
Is there anything called perfect love? Gaurav Tagore is a guy with a dark past who scoffs at love. Nothing matters to him except the company he and his friends had built from ground up. He works his lethal magic on women to get what he wants-be it their warm, eager bodies or corporate secrets-until Sanjana enters his office and his life. Sanjana Sinha is a girl on the run from her past who is petrified at the word "love." Her sole focus is not to draw anyone's attention on herself while she painstakingly is rebuilding her life. That is until Gaurav walks into her workspace and her life. What do fates have in store for these two scarred souls? What would happen when they meet and when the past that they are both trying to escape from comes to stand in front of them?

This was a definite let down after Scarred Legacy and A man to kill for.
Gaurav has had a tough life being wrongly convicted and being dumped by the woman he considered his perfect love. Ouch! But his attitude towards women is downright crass. After what he did to Sanjana I don't see how she could have forgiven him. At the very least, he should have grovelled for a while.. After Sanjana's past was revealed to him, I expected a good redemption track. While he did protect her from her crazy ex, he never atoned for his cruelty. In that way, I felt the book was incomplete.
I did like the way Sanjana helped him with his OCD and claustrophobia without treating him like a freak. And the ending was clichéd but sweet.
From my binge reading of Suvika's novels, I see this pattern where the protagonists are suffering from some kind of tragedy or trauma in their past and the way she makes them overcome it is commendable, but it's getting a little old. 2.5 stars.

Perfect Love - in the end

I enjoyed however I didn't like a particular character. Overall I would recommend this book as the author has a way of telling the story. With the majority of the books I've read about this author, she will pull you in making feel like know the characters. The hero's story was different not typical in reading a romance novel. I believe I like this author for her ability to tell a story and make you feel like you're one with the story. Please note, they're gonna be emotional ups and downs along with the story but that is what I enjoyed as well.

Hope you enjoy the read as well.

Predictable

Felt like seeing a Bollywood romantic drama unfold. However, the past and present narrative was edgy and kept the reader hooked to the characters reaction. Dragged but ending is worth it as it paints a pretty picture for the perfectly imperfect Jodi.

A perfect story!!!!!!!

I really loved the way the characters were sketched though I initially had not like Gaurav as a womanizer but really loved the way Sanjana and Gaurav found their love....a PERFECT ONE indeed as they turned out at the end of the story and not to miss the humour in the trio conversations .I totally loved the book and really happy at the end thpu chem curious to know whether it's 2boys or girls or one boy and girl born to sanjana..... 😍😍😍😘😘😘

Another of her best writings

I have read many of her books. Each one is different from the other and none are cliched. Although initially it might sound like the typical m&b love flicks where the boss and his assistant falls in love .
But the story of Sanjana and Gaurav has many more layers and twist with several realistic touch. It is also the story of middle class hardworking people, their aspirations, dream and also shame.
Don't want to give away any spoiler.

I was just captivated by the way writer has weaved the story. I enjoyed each & every moment of this wonderful story. Title of the story actually suits “Perfect love”
Lead characters had their own set of insecurities & fear in life but the way they came out of it with each other’s help is actually the theme of the story. U must go through this book atleast once.

Nobody can understand the pain one goes through when he or she is punished for a sin they have never committed.  It traumatizes them plus a vast period of their life is wasted.

Dr. Gaurav Tagore is a magician of numbers and very sharp business personnel. He is convicted of a crime he never committed.  His life in prison was hell.  He was abused,  tortured,  beaten, and left with disgust.  It took 7 long years to know the truth and for him to have a clean breath.
His life after the prison episode is far different than what it was before,  he is a changed man with rules and regulations which he modifies as and when required.

Sanjana is also trying hard to come out of her miserable state because of her psychopath Ex. She is here to have a new start and a new phase in life. But two broken people,  with a heavy past, can never be together due to their experiences and will always have conflicts and confusion.  How will these two cope and come out of their traumatic phase is what this journey has for you.  There is fun, emotions, bad days,  good days, fear,  excitement, bonding,  friendship, and love.

Suvika's magic wand has again spread the magic of maturity,  livelihood, and a story that has a touch of reality.  The scenes feel so real and every part of it can be felt. No unnecessary drama,  just entertainment.

Perfect love, was perfect. I think the title really sums it up. Loved the intensity of the story, the dark and twists carried with the gentleness was the perfect amount. Just loved it . The chemistry between Gaurav and Sanjana was just sizzling. A must read.

One of the better Indian fiction novels I've read in awhile. There are the usual grammar issues when written in or translated to English, but excellent story! I loved that it dealt with real issues of abuse, stalking, mental health troubles.
