A lively compendium of newly researched American Revolution topics

By Gene Procknow - June 16, 2016

Interesting people, battles and other events of the American Revolution come to life with this compendium of 50 plus articles. Each of the 5- 8 page articles provides interesting new interpretations, thought provoking conclusions and is supported by extensive primary research. The book format invites both use in original research projects and end-to-end reading.

In full disclosure, my article on the "Top Ten American Loyalist Officers" is included in the book. This article describes the oft omitted impact of loyalists officers and military units on major campaigns and battles. Some of these officers were as capable as their highly celebrated and remembered patriot counterparts and provided significant assistance to the British efforts to suppress the rebellion.

The book is especially relevant for those readers who seek to understand what it was like to have lived in revolutionary times!
