Bethesda Softworks LLC is an American video game publisher based in Rockville, Maryland. The company was founded by Christopher Weaver in 1986 as a division of Media Technology Limited, and in 1999 became a subsidiary of ZeniMax Media. In its first fifteen years, it was a video game developer and self-published its titles. In 2001, Bethesda spun off its own in-house development team into Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks became a publisher only. It currently also publishes games by ZeniMax Online Studios, id Software, Arkane Studios, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks and Bethesda Game Studios Austin.
It was interesting to see the art and Development on how they created the game and a little more background on the Characters themselves. As an artist, though it was wonderful to the set by step process of the character designs, as well as the designs for the enemies as well as what they represented, what they became in Ruvik's mind. The game is most certainly a trip. A terrifying psychological ride to experiencing and understanding the inner world of a man so completely pissed at what's been done to him.
This book just adds more to the understanding of that. That the developers themselves tell you about. You get to see what they started with and what exactly they decided to go without of all the options they had started with. Character clothes designs, level concept art they started with and then changed. So much there all nice and neat for fans of the universe to see.
I will get the physical copy for my bookshelf cause I gotta have it. This book is amazing as an EBook which means it's certainly gonna be fan-F**king-tastic to have the pages in my hands.
