A great behind-the-scenes account of all the Fort Worth “names” I grew up hearing so much about (and spent many a-day on some of the land both the Moncriefs and Richardsons left behind for public use). Both the intra and inter-family “musings” are as entertaining as they are historical - and their effect is still felt to this day. As someone who grew up in this area, it gives more appreciation to the foundation these families lay.
